...this is another great laptop form the amilo range by fujitsu siemens brand. this has only just come out on 30 of august and has been mainly designed for use with video telephony, Internet chat, digital films and MP3 sound files. the AMILO Xi 2428 has a 15.4 inch screen and weighs 3kg, and can be configured with a second hard disk and software for double data security. the amilo xi features an Intel Centrino Duo processor with Intel Core 2 Duo processor up to T7700 which makes this run so much faster than the other amilo series and alot faster than most the laptops on the market. this laptop is bsically the smaller more portable version of the Fujitsu Siemens AMILO Xi 2528. it weighs 1kg less and is a bit smaller. however its improved size doesnt effect its storage and memory and all the specs are the same, so basically if you...

The laptop is safely secured and fastened down by some tight plastic sheeting. On the outside of the sheeting you have the power connector and you have underneath the laptop plenty of manuals. ...would send some disks that would put this right. So I turned off the Laptop to wait for the disks which, still have not arrived 1 week later. When I decided to turn the Laptop on again it came up with a message saying Disk Error, press any key to continue, I pressed any key and the same message was repeated several times but the Laptop would not start. I again phoned Fujitsu/Siemens and was told that it was to be returned to Comet for refund or replacement, but that they had to have a copy of the reciept from the manager at comet to send the code needed for this to hAppen. So I had to phone Comet to get this done, this was completed the same day( Thur), but no number was sent to Comet until the following Mon, this was when I finally decided to ask for a refund. I have not been able to asses how good this Laptop was, but can say honestly...

...hardware for it too like a printer as there might not be a sutible vista supported driver out to support it. So i highly recomend sticking with Windows XP which is preinstalled on this laptop. This laptop is equipt with 1gb ram which is more than enough and will stop pc slowing down and freezing up. Which can later be upgraded to 2gb but you will have to spend money out of your pocket. Now the graphics card may not be one of the best but if you are not planning to play the latest games then this shouldnt be a problem. Drivers for this laptop can be downloaded via ATI(AMD) site or fijitsu siemens as standalone drivers may not be compatible with it. Finally it has got 80gb hard drive space which os great for a laptop if u wish to have more you could purchase some more or buy an external hard drive. I could go on but i tink ive said...

It fits with almost any computer hardware set. It is of a reasonable size and is not too bulky (4 kg) but doesn?t have you squinting to see the screen (22 in). ...A good, quick laptop that is compact and light to carry. It looks the part, clean lines and easy to use touchpad. The 2G of RAM also makes this an economical option, but there is no problem with the quality of the product given it's low price. The laptop does get quite warm after prolonged use, so I tend to ensure that it is switched off overnight, or not left for long periods. ...This is a review on the Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Li 2727 laptop. There are a lot of good things, great things even about this laptop though I must admit there are things when using it, you just feel could have been improved or upgraded to make the laptop better and less annoying in a way. The most annoying thing I must mention when I was using this laptop was the fan noise. The noise its self isn’t really loud, however it seems to come on at random moments when your using the laptop, and it doesn’t even seem to be when running demanding programs, so this is something that really annoyed me about this laptop.
