Scaleo 600 P4 2.53
Review of Fujitsu Siemens SCALEO 600 - Athlon XP 2800+ 2.08 GHz by
techman1862
Advantages: Brilliant easy to use and you do get the windows xp disk
Disadvantages: none really
...and within our budget.
We purchased 2 FS P4 computers with 80 GB drives 2.53 CPU's and ATI graphic cards for £998 all in but without any other warranty.
That was in 2003. I am now using this same FS P4 computer to write this reveiw.
The scaleo in that time has been brilliant and proved 100% reliable. The back-up disks you get with FS computers (Still to this day) are the only company as far I know who still give the Windows XP disk and a driver disk......None of this partition stuff on the hard drive. which is good and when you think about it if you have windows on the hard drive as a partition and the drive goes(even when new and it does happen) you are in a world of hurt.
Fujitsu computers for us have been brilliant and as has been said already, when the warranty is up, you can upgrade them easy with plenty of room and they use good...

fab laptop
Review of Fujitsu Siemens AMILO Pro V3515 Edition - Pentium Dual Core T2080 1.73 GHz - 15.4" TFT by
techno_man_37
Advantages: great speeds
Disadvantages: not alot of extra features
...laptop looks really good, it's a combination of black and silvery white plastic body and this two tone colour makes it look really cool and modern.
It features a Intel Pentium Dual Core T2080 / 1.73 Ghz processor which runs the 1gb of ram very well, and you'll be surprised at quite how fast this is, maybe its just how fujitsu makes their laptops, but this with only 1gb of ram seems a lot faster than some of the other brands of laptop iv come across which also had 1gb of ram installed.
Another good thing about this is that the 1gb of ram can be upgraded to 2gb, however this is quite pricy and will usually cost over £50. However if you do need more ram and a quicker laptop all round then this might be something to think about.
This laptop contains what seems to be the bear minimum of hard drive space these days. It has 80 gb which is quite...

A good value machine
Review of Fujitsu Siemens T Bird by
GarethAvery
Advantages: Good value, high spec
Disadvantages: Two faults, both fixed reasonably
...I bought my T Bird in November 1999 from Sainbury's and since then it has worked very well apart from two faults. The hard disk failed within a month (due to a bad batch apparently) and also within the warranty period the DVD drive stopped reading DVDs (but continued to work with CDs) On both occasions the service was completed reasonably and as these two products were not specifically Fujitsu I put them both down to 'another company'
I would certainly buy from Fujitsu again and notice that the same model (but with faster processor and larger HD) is being sold through newspaper adverts by a company called Under a Grand. Have a look at:
www.underagrand.co.uk...

another great laptop from fujitsu
Review of Fujitsu Siemens AMILO Pro V3505 Edition - Core 2 Duo T5300 1.73 GHz - 15.4" TFT by
techno_man_37
Advantages: design and very qucik
Disadvantages: no webcam on there
...spending a silly amount on a laptop. For example, you could buy a 3 gb or even 4 gb of ram laptop, however these would go over the £1500 or even £2000 mark. Whereas this laptop only costs around £500 which for 2 gb of ram is a great price.
Its doesn’t disappoint in hard drive space either, as it delivers a very impressive 160 gb of storage for all your files to be saved on. I certainly have never needed a laptop with more than 160 gb and have never even filled a laptop with over 80 gb of data before, however its always good to know you can basically put whatever you want on your laptop and the space will never run out.
The screen size of this laptop is 15.4 inches. Which is around the average, and will be ok for basic laptop needs. Its not a great size for watching movies on however, and you might find it a little small if you do like...

Ideal for both office and home
Review of Fujitsu Siemens SCALEO P - P4 540 3.2 GHz by
craigers1401
Advantages: Nice to look at, Easy to set-up and reliable
Disadvantages: some components installed are only standard
..., which allows the PC to run smoother when using the larger programs and games. Again, there is room inside the machine for added memory.
Hard-drive
The hard drive installed is a standard Fujitsu 5200 rpm 80gb hard drive. This will be adequate for most games, programs and other media however it may not be so smooth when running the larger games. There is also room for an extra hard drive.
Graphics and Sound card
The graphics card is a standard 128mb graphics card. The computer is pre-installed with an up to date Intel Graphics Controller.
Sound card is also a standard integrated sound card with support for dolby surround sound.
Both cards are easily accssible in case of future upgrading.
Optical Storage
The Scaleo P comes with a standard DVD rewritable drive with space just below for another drive.
Monitor
The monitor is a 17...

amazing laptop??
Review of Fujitsu Siemens AMILO Xi 2428 by
punker123
Advantages: fast good
Disadvantages: none
...somthing more portable get this rather than getting the Fujitsu Siemens AMILO Xi 2528.
this laptop also has a massive 2gb of ram, which makes it runs super fast. and it even has 250gb of hard drive space which is enough for all those movies, mp3s, and whatever else you could think of.
the 15.4-inch widescreen LCD display with BrilliantView technology for impressive color, focus and contrast makes imadges look ultra sharpe and moview too.
another great feature of this, is its built in intergrated camera, micro phone and speakers to make webcaming and video conversations so much easier.
if your looking for a great performing laptop then this is for you.
this laptops good allround, its great for mp3s, movies, gaming and even working on too.
id advise this for familys if your looking for somthing quick to replace that old desktop but want somthing...

Fujitsu Siemens the Nice PCs
Review of Fujitsu Siemens Myrica Series by
Degsy
Advantages: High quality, low cost.
Disadvantages: none at all
...Definitely the best value machines available at the moment, with out actually building one yourself. I run an internet cafe with 30 fujitsu machines. I have found them to be very reliable and also in looking at their recent offers they are of outstanding value. None of the other manufacturers seem to be able to match them for price on high spec PC's. I would never go to Tiny or Time or Gateway or PC World. Whats the point when you can go to www.underagrand.co.uk and view constantly updated offers on high specification Fujitsu PC's guarunteed cheaper and of a superior build quality, trust me I know!!
Before getting into managing this internet cafe I used to work as a computer engineer for a public sector manufacturer, during that time I got to know which hardware, such as motherboards, hard drives, VGA cards etc..... were the real deal...

jujitsus best laptop yet!!
Review of Fujitsu Siemens AMILO Pro V3515 Edition - Pentium Dual Core T2080 1.73 GHz - 15.4" TFT by
punk_rocker
Advantages: great all rounder
Disadvantages: games
...I really love this laptop, previously siemens haven't really made good computers or laptops but they are now starting to come out with really good products from their Fujitsu ranges.
This is a amilo pro V3515, its looks stylish and is quite compact too.
It features Intel Pentium Dual Core T2080 / 1.73 GHz processor which runs the 1gb of installed ram like a dream. Also if you use demanding programs and need more ram then this can be upgraded to a maximum of 2gb. This however if quite dear to do and could cost around £50.
This laptop has a great 120 GB hard drive to store all your data on, also it runs at 5400 rpm which is rather quick.
A criticism to fujitsu would be that this laptop doesn't have a card reader built into it, this is something a lot of people need so i was disappointed to see it didn't contain one.
This amilo has a 15...

amazing laptop!!
Review of Fujitsu Siemens LifeBook E8410 - Core 2 Duo T7300 2 GHz - 15.4" TFT by
techno_man_37
Advantages: everthing about it!
Disadvantages: price!
...this balance, fujitsu however have, and it really shows.
The plastic section around the screen is black, and is also strong and sturdy, the body of the laptop is silver with a nice grey keypad that stands out from the laptop and the bottom of the laptop and sides of the laptop are also black, it really is a stunning looking laptop.
The main reason why this is so fast is its very large amount of ram built into it. This laptop has 2 gb of ram which handles loading up and the running of all those demanding programs you might need to use when on the move.
The great thing about this laptop is that over time, if your laptop becomes slower, which they all seem to do. You can always upgrade the ram to a massive 4 gb’s. this is an option that a lot of people wont ever do, however its there if you want it and it really would increase your laptops...

a truely portable laptop
Review of Fujitsu Siemens LifeBook S6410 - Core 2 Duo T7300 2 GHz - 13.3" TFT by
techno_man_37
Advantages: portability
Disadvantages: price tag
...160 gb of hard drive, or at least 120. But this laptop however only has 80 gb of storage space built in. I don’t know whether to class this as a downside as I know everyone wants the most they can get, but honestly do you really need more than 80 gb of hard drive? Well I certainly know I don’t and I guess most people don’t either, so this 80 gb should really be enough and not a downside to the laptop at all.
The reason why this one is so portable it down to mainly its incredible weight. Moe laptops weigh over 3 kg, this one however only weighs 1.8 kg. this is a really light weight for any laptop, but the main reason why its this light is because they have compromised a bit on the screen size. Its only 13.3 inches.
Also making it so portable Is its incredible 7 hours of battery life, which is certainly the most in a laptop...
