Stylistic ST4110P - For the total mobile user
Review of Fujitsu Siemens Stylistic ST4110P - PIII-M 800 MHz - 10.4" TFT by
maxmidnight
Advantages: Lightweight, compact and flexible. Great user interface and robust. Great design feature to aid handling.
Disadvantages: Lacks the power of other tablets, has trouble launching multi application envronments
...Over the past few months, I have been evaluating and rolling out tablet PC's across my organisation within the Health industry. My evaluation has covered the HP Compaq TC1100, the Motion M1200, the Fujitsu Stylistic ST4120, and the Toshiba Portégé 3500. What follows is a brief discussion of the Fujitsu Siemens Stylistic ST4110 which I hope will give users some guidance and prove informative.
The Fujitsu Stylistic ST4120 was the first such device we trialed here at the Trust and it was certainly a fantastic baptism for both ourselves and the hardware. Vigorously tested and scrutinised by disgruntled employee's, under duress, it was quickly seen as a fantastic breakthrough in technological architecture and benefited users in almost every aspect of their working lives. It is the lightest of the Tablet PCs and gets the best battery life...

Fujitsu lifebook E series
Review of Fujitsu Siemens LifeBook E360 - PII 333 MHz - 13.3" TFT by
jthesing
Advantages: quick nice design
Disadvantages: keyboard
...The Fujitsu Siemens Lifebook notebook is a nice looking and fast computer. The screen of this notebook is very large and is controlled by the special function keys. You have the possibility to use 2 pcmcia cards to use scsi equipment or to use a modem. The last notebook I had was a Siemens, but that was a less user friendly machine.
The E-series notebook can be equipped with a 4, 6 or 9 GB harddisk. One of the disadvatages of the lifebook is it's keyboard. The keys are not allways very logically situated. The insert and delete keys are for instance situated at the top of the keyboard. So correcting wronly typed words causes you to move your right hand out of the type area. Especially for quick-typing users this is time consuming....

a truely portable laptop
Review of Fujitsu Siemens LifeBook S6410 - Core 2 Duo T7300 2 GHz - 13.3" TFT by
techno_man_37
Advantages: portability
Disadvantages: price tag
...I honestly cant pick any faults with this laptop at all, well except from the extremely high price tag, but if you’ve got the money to spend then what a machine to spend it on.
This Fujitsu Siemens LifeBook S6410 is a quite new type of laptop from the fujitsu siemens brand. These new laptops are called lifebook, and are especially designed for portability and super quick running speeds.
The design of this laptop is fantastic, its combination of three main colours makes it look a lot more modern than some of its predecessors and gives it a cool edge over its rivals.
A business mans laptop that looks cool instead of boring seemed to be something acers travel mates just weren’t designed to be and I don’t think acer could ever figure out how to get this balance, fujitsu however have, and it really shows.
The plastic...

Experience Of Support
Review of Fujitsu Siemens AMILO M-6300 - C 1.2 GHz - 14.1" TFT by
mattboxsey
Advantages: Confusing call qualification / Information repeated several times
Disadvantages: Once the call had been logged and agreed the repair was turned around very quickly
...After recently having a problem with A Fujitsu laptop which was still in warranty I recently contacted Fujistu to arrange to have the machine looked at.
The problem with the machine appeared to be that the cable connecting the screen had fractured and needed replacing.
After navigating the Support call system and speaking to several people regarding this fault we appeared to travel full circle and go back to the beginning explaining the fault and symptoms.
Fujitsu seem to have a good support infrastructure and policy in place which just needs some fine tuning.
They need to ensure that all information is relayed as required, and to appreciate that the users placing the call have different levels of experience. (Being a support specialist, you resent being told that the fault is user error and to check the obvious even though you have...

fab laptop
Review of Fujitsu Siemens AMILO Pro V3515 Edition - Pentium Dual Core T2080 1.73 GHz - 15.4" TFT by
techno_man_37
Advantages: great speeds
Disadvantages: not alot of extra features
...laptop looks really good, it's a combination of black and silvery white plastic body and this two tone colour makes it look really cool and modern.
It features a Intel Pentium Dual Core T2080 / 1.73 Ghz processor which runs the 1gb of ram very well, and you'll be surprised at quite how fast this is, maybe its just how fujitsu makes their laptops, but this with only 1gb of ram seems a lot faster than some of the other brands of laptop iv come across which also had 1gb of ram installed.
Another good thing about this is that the 1gb of ram can be upgraded to 2gb, however this is quite pricy and will usually cost over £50. However if you do need more ram and a quicker laptop all round then this might be something to think about.
This laptop contains what seems to be the bear minimum of hard drive space these days. It has 80 gb which is quite...

Ideal for both office and home
Review of Fujitsu Siemens SCALEO P - P4 540 3.2 GHz by
craigers1401
Advantages: Nice to look at, Easy to set-up and reliable
Disadvantages: some components installed are only standard
...The Fujitsu Siemens Scaleo P desktop computer is a great all around machine for all types of user. It is now available in most high street stores and can be picked up for around the average high street price.
Design
The design of this computer is great. It is a mini stand up grey tower with a darker grey face at the front. It measures 20cm X 43.5cm X 37.3cm The system looks sleek and modern with neon lights shining from the bottom and around the power button just off the bottom.
It is also quite deep with the space to install extra drives and storage mediums, which would be great for the possibility of a future upgrade.
Processor
Almost all of the Scaleo P range provide the user with an Intel P4 processor with integrated HT technology creating faster speeds when trying to multitask.
RAM
The Scaleo P comes with 512mb of DDR Ram...

Good but expensive
Review of Fujitsu Siemens AMILO Xa 1526 by
alexjtear
Advantages: Excellent spec
Disadvantages: high cost
...I've just bought this notebook, what an awesome screen! It looks like glass and the brushed alluminium casing has that wow factor. The screen is great and the noise is like all 17" notebooks, not very loud.
I bought mine from ebuyer.com had them onsale for £718 inc vat/delivery, now i see they have rose to £850 ish so i got mine at a bargain!
The battery power can last for around 2hours but in most cases around 1h 40-50min which isn't bad for a notebook.
The machine is very quick and reliable, with great graphics it is very good for gaming.
Specifications:
* AMD Turion™ 64 X2 Dual-Core Mobile Technology TL-50

A good laptop for its money
Review of Fujitsu Siemens AMILO PRO V7010 - Celeron D 325 2.53 GHz - 15.1" TFT by
SMRobinsonHudson
Advantages: More than adequate for the average person
Disadvantages: Not big enough for a busy executive
...My Fujitsu Siemens V7010 was purchased approx 3 1/2 years ago by my husband for me to use. He at that time already had his own laptop and was fed up of me using it so decided I needed one of my own.
I like taking photographs and the added advantage of a slot for your Secure Digital Cards to be able to download them quickly without extra hardware was good. The modem is in-built and came with a selection of international adapters for using with the modem.
There are fans to keep the hard drive cool and these are only run noisy if there is dust or dirt clogging them.
I have used it to play DVD's and they play on here even if they won't run properly on our normal dvd players. The graphics on them are of a very good standard.
In the last couple of months the TFT screen has broken. This is because my husband placed his laptop open...
