...After recently having a problem with A Fujitsu laptop which was still in warranty I recently contacted Fujistu to arrange to have the machine looked at. The problem with the machine appeared to be that the cable connecting the screen had fractured and needed replacing. After navigating the Support call system and speaking to several people regarding this fault we appeared to travel full circle and go back to the beginning explaining the fault and symptoms. Fujitsu seem to have a good support infrastructure and policy in place which just needs some fine tuning. They need to ensure that all information is relayed as required, and to appreciate that the users placing the call have different levels of experience. My evaluation has covered the HP Compaq TC1100, the Motion M1200, the Fujitsu Stylistic ST4120, and the Toshiba Portégé 3500. What follows is a brief discussion of the Fujitsu Siemens Stylistic ST4110 which I hope will give users some guidance and prove informative. The Fujitsu Stylistic ST4120 was the first such device we trialed here at the Trust and it was certainly a fantastic baptism for both ourselves and the hardware. ...This is yet another great laptop made by fujitsu siemens. Its basically great for having around the house, and mainly for keeping on a desk most of the time. In fact id describe this as a replacement desktop, it will run just as fast as one and is so much smaller so why not get one instead of a huge desktop pc. This particular ones the Fujitsu Siemens AMILO Pro V3505 Edition, which is another spin off of the designs of the amilo’s. however this one does look a lot different to all the other amilos out there and is one of my favourite designs Fujitsu have done. Its combination of the colours black and silver/grey make this laptop look a lot more stylish and cooler than if it was all in just one colour. ...I bought this product for school work as i entered the sixth form, however on the side i really did need a good laptop as i do a lot of photo editing and web building using incredibley demanding pieces of software like Adobe CS3. I had a small budget of about £400, and was wanted the most for my money. The laptop has surprisingly good spec with a core2duo processor and 256mg ATI radeon graphics card this laptop has much better spec than others in its price range, i have had dht elaptop about 6 months and had one major problem when my bios battery had to be replaced due to a factory error only effecting mine, however the laptop went away for only 1 week a short time considering it went all the way to germany. It ispretty damn quick this laptop and is prbably the best in a price range of at least up to £500. Its a shame it has no memory... Read review

...My Fujitsu Siemens V7010 was purchased approx 3 1/2 years ago by my husband for me to use. He at that time already had his own laptop and was fed up of me using it so decided I needed one of my own. I like taking photographs and the added advantage of a slot for your Secure Digital Cards to be able to download them quickly without extra hardware was good. The modem is in-built and came with a selection of international adapters for using with the modem. There are fans to keep the hard drive cool and these are only run noisy if there is dust or dirt clogging them. I have used it to play DVD's and they play on here even if they won't run properly on our normal dvd players. The graphics on them are of a very good standard. Advantages: Lightness, good RAM and Memory.

...This computer for me was one of the best computers I have ever had and for me that is really good as I purchase a new laptop every 6 months. The advantages of buying this laptop is it's trully lightweight, huge 2GB RAM and 180MB whih is really good for the price that this is. On the other hand this laptop is prone to a bit slow for gaming but otherwise it can handle just fine. I use this for work, music and movies and software. Downloading is really quick. I got this as an offer from PC World for £350 which I thought was a fantastic deal at he time and still do. Another bit of dissapointment was the small baterry life bu doesn't affect me as I always have a charger.... Read review

..., my HD gave an terminal error, It broke down. (12months and 2 days). I Had to replace that (170 euro's). Now in the 14 month of me owning a amilo d1840 my adapter has exploded, and because it's an 20v 8A 4 pins adapter (which is unreplacable by an generic adapter) I have to wait for 2 weeks for an new adapter which costs me 120 euro's. This is probably the worst laptop I have ever owned! THis product is a shame for a company like Fujitsu. No reasonable support from fujitsu allthough they knew this notebook had these problems! In my comprehension this is no service, or good publicity for fujitsu, SO fujitsu, what are you people going to do about this! I could use some support for spending 2500 euro on your faulty product!!!... Read review

...laptop looks really good, it's a combination of black and silvery white plastic body and this two tone colour makes it look really cool and modern. It features a Intel Pentium Dual Core T2080 / 1.73 Ghz processor which runs the 1gb of ram very well, and you'll be surprised at quite how fast this is, maybe its just how fujitsu makes their laptops, but this with only 1gb of ram seems a lot faster than some of the other brands of laptop iv come across which also had 1gb of ram installed. Another good thing about this is that the 1gb of ram can be upgraded to 2gb, however this is quite pricy and will usually cost over £50. However if you do need more ram and a quicker laptop all round then this might be something to think about. This laptop contains what seems to be the bear minimum of hard drive space these days. ...I really love this laptop, previously siemens haven't really made good computers or laptops but they are now starting to come out with really good products from their Fujitsu ranges. This is a amilo pro V3515, its looks stylish and is quite compact too. It features Intel Pentium Dual Core T2080 / 1.73 GHz processor which runs the 1gb of installed ram like a dream. Also if you use demanding programs and need more ram then this can be upgraded to a maximum of 2gb. This however if quite dear to do and could cost around £50. This laptop has a great 120 GB hard drive to store all your data on, also it runs at 5400 rpm which is rather quick. A criticism to fujitsu would be that this laptop doesn't have a card reader built into it, this is something a lot of people need so i was disappointed to see it didn't contain one.
