Fujitsu Siemens Computer supply a good, sturdy range of computer accessories such as RAM, disk drives, monitors and even whole computer systems. Speakers are no exception to this rule. When I first bought my computer, brand new as it was, I was pleased to see that it had a nice pair of speakers counted in it. Although the size of the speakers was, and still is quite extortionate in proportion to other speakers on the market, they have a sleek, attractive design. The base of the speakers is cut at a rather odd angle, making the speakers ‘lay back’ when placed properly onto a flat surface. ...This is yet another great laptop made by fujitsu siemens. Its basically great for having around the house, and mainly for keeping on a desk most of the time. In fact id describe this as a replacement desktop, it will run just as fast as one and is so much smaller so why not get one instead of a huge desktop pc. This particular ones the Fujitsu Siemens AMILO Pro V3505 Edition, which is another spin off of the designs of the amilo’s. however this one does look a lot different to all the other amilos out there and is one of my favourite designs Fujitsu have done. Its combination of the colours black and silver/grey make this laptop look a lot more stylish and cooler than if it was all in just one colour. My favourite feature of this use of colour is how the grey keyboard stands out around the black bottom of the laptop... Read review

Advantages: the price

...ended, my HD gave an terminal error, It broke down. (12months and 2 days). I Had to replace that (170 euro's). Now in the 14 month of me owning a amilo d1840 my adapter has exploded, and because it's an 20v 8A 4 pins adapter (which is unreplacable by an generic adapter) I have to wait for 2 weeks for an new adapter which costs me 120 euro's. This is probably the worst laptop I have ever owned! THis product is a shame for a company like Fujitsu. No reasonable support from fujitsu allthough they knew this notebook had these problems! In my comprehension this is no service, or good publicity for fujitsu, SO fujitsu, what are you people going to do about this! I could use some support for spending 2500 euro on your faulty product!!!... Read review

Advantages: Upgradeability, accessability, standard components
Disadvantages: Although helpful, the support and maintenance could be better, in particular the engineers attending need to be more considerate on the stressing of cables I think, and need to not simply resort to reinstalling windows as the catch all solution

...I originally bought this machine over 3 years ago now, and although I initially had some concerns over the sound card quality, and the usual Windows installation problems. I did manage to get reasonable support from the Fujitsu ICL helpdesk. I eventually managed to get the sound card replaced, even though there seemed to be some question as to whether the card was in fact faulty. On a particular piece of software the quality of the sound was unbearable, and although it did seem to improve after the new sound card, it did not become totally improved. One of the main advantages of buying a relatively expensive machine like the Fujitsu, has been in the realive ease of upgrading it. Even things like adding Hard Drives are all taken care of with the cables and connectors all being provided to make this reasonably painless. On other machines... Read review

...Whilst recently updating Workstations on my LAN we recently have purchased several Fujitsu Scenic PC's. These machines have proven very reliable and efficient for the money that we have spent upon the units (£420.00 + VAT each) Considering that these machines are running PIII550 processors with 64Mb memory and a 10Gb hardrive as standard they can handle most basic office aapplications required in a general office enviroment. The unit comes with Windows 98SE pre-installed as standard, soundcard, keyboard and mouse. The only disadvantage that we have discovered with these machines is that they only have 3 x PCI slots and 1 x EISA slot making expandability a little probelamatic for certain hardware requirements, but overall for general value for money and reliability I would recommend this machine as excellent value for money... ...Ive had this laptop now for about a year and i havent had anything wrong with it but to be honest it isnt the best laptop in the world as it is abit slow when loading up and it could do with a bigger hard drive as it only has a 20gb. but if you only want a laptop to go the internet ,read your e-mails and to watch and burn dvds i would highly recommend it to anyone and as it is a bit old you can get one for around £149.99 which is realy cheap for a laptop which to be honest isnt that bad! and im sure if you have a look on ebay you could get one fo around £70 which would be a bargin! so if you are looking for a laptop which is cheap and does all the your internet , email and media needs you need to get yourself a Fujitsu Siemens LifeBook C1110.... ...the house. or maybe in the back gardens, and conecting to wirless networks through this cimputer couldnt be mre simpler. This laptop is not all that great for gaming and multimedia as it only comes with 64mb of graphics which is a real down side. is fine to view HD pictures on. the laptop comes with a 15.4 inch widescreen display which isnt all that bright, fujitsu should have improved the screen quality here! the general look of the laptop isnt all that bas, although the silver scratches very easily, which is a very dowside. overall i would reconment this laptop for persons only looking to use it for personal and everynow and then use, i wouldnt recoment it to perople who are into gaming or heavy computer users.... ...i had this notebook as replacement for a damaged computer, it was brought brand new from the shop and i regret the moment i ever clapped eyes on it, in a lot of the fujitsu laptops they all appear to get cracks on the top right hand corner of the screen and then progress to get one on the left also.. i had the computer for 2 weeks before the first crack became apparent, i just thought it was a mark and tried to clean it off with special wipes for the computer , then i realised it was a crack, it got worse and worse and now has a 1 mil gap between each bit of plastic.... around where the charger whent then progressed to small crack to big then snapped off, and the top of the computer got cracks in it too which are proceeding to spread as we speak..... the inside of the computer may be good but the outside is really cheaply... The wireless also can be iritating as you have to switch it on everytime you log onto the computer after the computer has loaded the shortcut key settings. ...hardware for it too like a printer as there might not be a sutible vista supported driver out to support it. So i highly recomend sticking with Windows XP which is preinstalled on this laptop. This laptop is equipt with 1gb ram which is more than enough and will stop pc slowing down and freezing up. Which can later be upgraded to 2gb but you will have to spend money out of your pocket. Now the graphics card may not be one of the best but if you are not planning to play the latest games then this shouldnt be a problem. Drivers for this laptop can be downloaded via ATI(AMD) site or fijitsu siemens as standalone drivers may not be compatible with it. Finally it has got 80gb hard drive space which os great for a laptop if u wish to have more you could purchase some more or buy an external hard drive. I could go on but i tink ive said...
