a truely portable laptop
Advantages: portability
Disadvantages: price tag
...I honestly cant pick any faults with this laptop at all, well except from the extremely high price tag, but if you’ve got the money to spend then what a machine to spend it on.
This Fujitsu Siemens LifeBook S6410 is a quite new type of laptop from the fujitsu siemens brand. These new laptops are called lifebook, and are especially designed for portability and super quick running speeds.
The design of this laptop is fantastic, its combination of three main colours makes it look a lot more modern than some of its predecessors and gives it a cool edge over its rivals.
A business mans laptop that looks cool instead of boring seemed to be something acers travel mates just weren’t designed to be and I don’t think acer could ever figure out how to get this balance, fujitsu however have, and it really shows.
The plastic...

S6120 King of Notebooks?
Advantages: Lightweight, Very Fast, Long Battery Life
Disadvantages: Wi-Fi is not too good
...The S6120 is my current notebook that I use at work. I was amazed when I received it last August. On first look you will be impressed by its sharp design, when you pick it up you will be amazed at how light it is compared to other laptops, that with its rigid built make it a prime laptop. I've dropped it twice and had no problems, not even a scratch on it.
This is one fast machine as well, with Windows XP and a 1.6 Pentium M and 512mb ram you are on your way to PC heaven. With the Centrino chipset you are looking at long, long battery life (double that of normal laptops) and the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth built in.
The combination DVD and CDRW is a godsend, and works a treat with the bundled software, no problems what so ever with that.
My came complete with docking bay and external floppy drive (who uses a floppy anyway nowadays...

Fujitsu lifebook E series
Advantages: quick nice design
Disadvantages: keyboard
...The Fujitsu Siemens Lifebook notebook is a nice looking and fast computer. The screen of this notebook is very large and is controlled by the special function keys. You have the possibility to use 2 pcmcia cards to use scsi equipment or to use a modem. The last notebook I had was a Siemens, but that was a less user friendly machine.
The E-series notebook can be equipped with a 4, 6 or 9 GB harddisk. One of the disadvatages of the lifebook is it's keyboard. The keys are not allways very logically situated. The insert and delete keys are for instance situated at the top of the keyboard. So correcting wronly typed words causes you to move your right hand out of the type area. Especially for quick-typing users this is time consuming....

amazing laptop!!
Advantages: everthing about it!
Disadvantages: price!
...This laptop really is in every shape and form a business mans ideal laptop.
There really isn’t any downsides to this laptop at all, well except from the extremely high price tag, but if you’ve got the money to spend then what a machine to spend it on.

Fuji FinePix S1500. Descendant of the S1000fd
Advantages: Huge zoom, Focus Tracking, Easy to use
Disadvantages: Bulky, A little slow, AA batteries are a bit inconvenient
...The Fuji FinePix S1500 is the latest incarnation of the very successful FinePix S1000fd. It is very SLR-like in appearance and the added bulk of the battery-holder/grip does give it an assured feeling in your hands. Of course, this can be a disadvantage, and if you want a camera that you can just slip in-and-out of your pocket, then maybe a slimmer compact should be considered.
The 12x optical zoom is excellent and it equates to 33-396mm in 35mm terms - and if this isn't enough, there is a 5.7x digital zoom feature too.
The menus are friendly and easy to navigate, and there are helpful explanatory prompts that appear on thew LCD screen when the mode-dial setting is changed.
There are 14 preset scenes to choose from, each setting the camera to its optimum settings for the given scenario, but on top of this, the camera can be used...

SDR S26
Advantages: Size, quality, reputation, ease of use. truly pocket size
Disadvantages: none
...Having been stuck with a busted camcorder on the morning on an important family visit, I dashed to a major electrical store to source a replacement, stumbled across this camera, researched the others on display and chose the S26 for ease of use, merit for the make (I bought Lumix TZ5 and have been really pleased with it, quality, capabilities etc, great lens) and general feel for the camera. in my opinion, X70 zoom works very well, resolution excellent for an "older" user and their "junior" assistants. I think that Transfer speed is not rapid, but "so what" in a camera at this price point. Very happy to recommend for general everyday trouble free use. BUT buy it on line for £60 less than the big stores and be even more satisfied that I am

Remington S9810 Genius Straighteners... not so Genius really!
Advantages: A digital display and the option to change the temperature.
Disadvantages: Poor quality and a horribly expensive price tag.
...I must admit I am a big fan of GHD hair straighteners. Ever since my Mum bought me a pair of them last Christmas I would never go back to any other brand. However I am a member of the Amazon Vine programme and I received a pair of these Remington Genius straighteners for free.
Genius Straighteners?
Remington state that if you want cutting edge technology that?s usually found in hair salons, then these are the straighteners for you. In fact, Celebrity Hairdresser of the Year, Steven Goldsworthy, goes as far as saying these are the Ferrari of all hair straighteners! After reading this I was certainly intrigued, could they really be as good as they sound?
The plates on these straighteners have the most advanced Ceramic coating, vital if you want a smooth finish with your straighteners, rather than a static look. They also...

GT-S5600: A Great Touch Screen Phone
Advantages: Great Camera, Easy to use touch screen and lovely colour
Disadvantages: Easily Scratched and has an irritating vibrate eveytime you touch something
...My old phone decided to die on me a few weeks ago. So I decided it was time to invest in a new one, and I decided to go on contract. I ended up getting the new(ish) Samsung GT-S5600. The contract is with Orange Dolphin and costs £15 a month and includes the phone, 100 minutes of calls to any network and unlimited texts.
---The Phone Itself---
The phone is a bar phone, not slide or swivel. It is approximately 10cm/4? in length and 5.5cm/2? in width. My version is in nice pale lilac though it does come in black and white. The screen is a touch screen, and measures 4.5cm wide and 6cm in length. At the base of the phone there is three buttons, two of equal size with a nice brush metal effect, the equal size buttons are the ones that allow you to answer calls and end them. In between the two equal buttons is a square button...

iPhone 3G S will have you stunned!
Advantages: It's advanced technology and huge variety of features.
Disadvantages: The very low and quickly decreasing battery life.
...The iPhone 3G S is an amazing piece of palm-sized technology. It has everything you could possibly ask of a mobile phone (except Blue-tooth data exchange), and much more! I was shocked at it's ease of use considering its a smart phone! However, although it does have a few new features from its predecessor, the iPhone 3G, but it didn't seem as much of a technological breakthrough considering the transition of the original iPhone to the iPhone 3G, which is one of the reasons I gave it 4, and not 5 stars.
First of all, there is the biggest thing about the iPhone 3G S, is the addition if the S to the title. It stands for speed, and they're not lying. I compared my friends iPhone 3G to my iPhone 3G S, and I noticed how much quicker internet pages load, applications load up, and even basic things like sending a text (which may have been due...
