...would send some disks that would put this right. So I turned off the Laptop to wait for the disks which, still have not arrived 1 week later. When I decided to turn the Laptop on again it came up with a message saying Disk Error, press any key to continue, I pressed any key and the same message was repeated several times but the Laptop would not start. I again phoned Fujitsu/Siemens and was told that it was to be returned to Comet for refund or replacement, but that they had to have a copy of the reciept from the manager at comet to send the code needed for this to hAppen. So I had to phone Comet to get this done, this was completed the same day( Thur), but no number was sent to Comet until the following Mon, this was when I finally decided to ask for a refund. I have not been able to asses how good this Laptop was, but can say honestly...

...System provided only 1 GB and it occupies space quickly and result in hanging and slow in action. The style is not much compared other models. Aesthetic is also not in line with better model. The Brand Name is very good and technical parameters very nice. Battery run time may be given higher level. Rates are not competitive. DVD provision is very good and i have also collected from my friends also product life is satisfactory but they cannot installed or loaded much packages or programes. Keyboard sytle is good. It is very useful in business purposes mainly. Comfortability, portability and durability is very satisfactory level only. it can be useful only casual users. Variety is not provided much. Can be provided varieties and stylish items....

...This is a review on the Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Li 2727 laptop. There are a lot of good things, great things even about this laptop though I must admit there are things when using it, you just feel could have been improved or upgraded to make the laptop better and less annoying in a way. The most annoying thing I must mention when I was using this laptop was the fan noise. The noise its self isn’t really loud, however it seems to come on at random moments when your using the laptop, and it doesn’t even seem to be when running demanding programs, so this is something that really annoyed me about this laptop. This really is a good home laptops though, that is what its been designed for and it what it should be used for. There are quite a few problems if you were wanting to use this as a portable laptop to take on journeys...

Get your greasy mitts off my machine

There are things that might irritate other people, I have read on other reviews about the fan noise. This could be off putting to many people, however as I had a Fujitsu Siemens PA1510 before this I was quite used to the fan noise. And to be perfectly honest this one barely makes any noise at all compared to the old one. But it might be something to bear in mind if you are looking at this machine. Overall, apart from the minor annoyances mentioned above, it seems likes a very decent machine. I would have preferred a little more RAM because 1024MB is pretty much the minimum spec for running Vista (I'm lucky because I will be able to transfer a stick from my old laptop when I get round to it).
