...The Little Miss books is a series of 43 books written by Roger Hargreaves and then later his son Adam Hargreaves. They are simple children's stories each telling the tale of a different some-what stereotypical character in each one. In this way the short stories do have a somewhat moral stance to them but are in the same way told in a fun and entertaining way to keep children amused.
Little Miss Fun is number 28 in the Little Miss Series and the front of the book is white with a picture of Little Miss Fun in the centre and her name in black block capitals printed above. Little Miss Fun is a small bouncy looking orange character with a large smile on her face and a blue bow in her hair. The back of the book like the rest in the series has smaller pictures of all the other characters in the series with their names and numbers printed...
Advantages: Good for those threading skills Disadvantages: None
...Galt toys have made these fun buttons for many years. I have seen and played with them in several early years settings. Your children and maybe even you will have played with them.
Galt fun buttons are brightly coloured red, yellow blue or green plastic buttons they come in a pack of 40 including a threading lace.
A fun button is circular. These buttons I guesstimate to be about 3cm in diameter, I have none at home to measure. They are a couple of mm thick. The edges of the fun button are raised and crimped. There are some buttons with 1 hole in the centre, some with 2 some with 3, 4 or 5 holes. This makes the threading options more varied
These buttons are a good size for a child to hold the holes are a good size too. These buttons are ideal for practicing learning threading skills. . The buttons can be threaded onto...

Review of Galt Fun Buttons
...I don?t know if I have any talent, but I am getting more inspired to write poetry. I am soon going to run out of categories, so am adding this collection to the Poetry for fun. Only one does not really fit into this category, but I did have fun writing it. The title ?The Ferryman??, refers to the old stories It started off as a small poem, based on the beliefs of different races, that their heaven was the right one. A warrior goes to his particular ?heaven?. E.g. Valhalla.
Good intentions are sometimes not enough, actions speak louder than words. Charon is the ferryman, he is also known by other names. He has no control over whom he sends to ?Hades?, he is totally impartial. Like my favourite author, Stephen King, the story took on a life of it?s own, I found it hard to stop.
The others are rather ?quirky?, I hope you like reading...

Review of Poetry for fun
Advantages: fun and interactive Disadvantages: none
...Both my daughters love animals in all shapes and sizes, so this book - A Felt Fun World of Wildlife Animals - was an ideal Christmas present for my younger daughter! It is a really interactive book with lots of different animals which your child can place on the appropriate pages or make up stories about. Whatever they decide to do with the book, they are very likely to have great fun!
The book is a fairly large picture book with a very sturdy hardback cover. The cover illustration is very bright and colourful with lots of interesting and unusual animals. What makes it most intriguing though is the fact that there is a little plastic window at the front and inside you can see lots of fun and fascinating felt animals! My little girl couldn't wait to look inside. When you open up the book and arrive at the first double page spread, it is...
Advantages: 8 toys in 1 Disadvantages: speaker on the bottom
...Boots Learning Through Play Funny Fun House
This was yet another toy from Jack's mountainous load at Christmas. This time my partners Auntie and Uncle were the ones who parted with their cash to get it for Jack. I have done some rather simple research and because I knew that it was a Boots product I simply searched for the Funny Fun House name on the Boots website and up it came saying that it would have cost them £15.
The age group for this toy is 12 months plus and Jack is a little too young to be playing with it although he gives it a very good go. Boots Funny Fun House is a brilliant toy with so many different things than are on offer. It runs on 3 AA batteries, which came already supplied, (Thank goodness) and this powers the toy to do wondrous amounts of sound effects and noises.
The Funny Fun House, to...
Advantages: Smooth, pretty, responsive, amazingness on a stick. Disadvantages: No real ones
...flat plate type thing that comes with a special pen. You can use this to control your pointer so it makes drawing go a whole lot smoother and precise and navigating round your computer easier.
Not having a clue what type to go for, I decided to ask the ex (since terms are still on the good side) since he knows about this kind of thing. He pointed me towards anything by Wacom. After a little research it seems those dudes are pretty well known in the field of all things arty. They make nearly all of the graphics tablets out there. Seriously.
Looks
Being that retail therapy is all about getting pretty items, it would be useless to get something that is ugly. The Bamboo ?Fun? graphics pad is bloody pretty. It looks like it was manufactured by Nintendo to fit into the Wii with its very clean white tablet with a hints of blue and grey...
...Fun With Dick and Jane, made in 1977 is the original of the recent remake starring Jim Carrey and Tea Leoni. This version stars George Segal and Jane Fonda in the title roles of, erm, Dick and Jane, who are a fairly rich, middle class suburban couple, to whom appearances are everything. So when Dick loses her job and it is revealed that he is teetering on the edge of a big pile of debt, they start to try and live as frugally as possible, in order to make ends meet. Dick starts to collect benefits, and then fiddling the unemployment agency by working (in the cast at the opera), whereas Jane uses her assets and takes a 'modelling' job, and then asks her parents for a loan, and both ventures have disastrous, but amusing results.
Then the two go and apply for a loan, and just as the manager hands over their £1000 dollars, some robbers...
...My son is a big fan of Fireman Sam, we bought him this dvd a while ago and at the moment it is one of his favourites.
Fireman Sam is set in a fictitious village called Pontypandy, the series first came onto S4C in the early 1980`s.
Fun Run
There is a fun run in Pontypandy, at the start of the race Norman price trips up the twins Sarah and james with his show laces, and poor Mandy lands up falling over some marbles. Norman gets ahead of the others and then turns all the arrows the wrong way so that the rest of the competitors get lost, only Wooly the sheep eats an arrow and Norman gets himself lost as well!
A search party is launched with Sam in the fire engine and Tom in the helicopter, the kids spot the helicopter but Tom does not see them.
Will Norman and the gang be rescued?!
Trouble and Squeak...
Advantages: Cheap and cheerful fun for all the family Disadvantages: Don't expect the "classics" to look as good as they do on 360 and PS3
...The graphics aren't as good as PS3 or 360, there's no hard drive, there's not as many games and they're not as big. But I still love my Wii more than my PS3 and my 360 combined!
It doesn't try to be a full blown entertainment system like the PS3 or an ultra gaming experience like the 360, it's just fun, energetic and a completely different experience.
My Wii came with Wii Sports and me and my friends played it none stop for about 2 days. There's a huge number of accessories and a much wider possibility when it comes to original games, the graphics are nothing special and the sound isn't too good, it's just Nintendo's classic annoying repeating tunes like in Mario from the 90s.
The good:
The original and exclusive games are great fun, everyone will enjoy it, introducing people who wouldn't usually play computer games, while...

Review of Nintendo Wii
Advantages: Full of energy and Innovation Disadvantages: Has a tendency to drift off into distortion
...by the random saxophone again and it just feels like it?s never going to stop, while everything else is so repetitive it?s painful. There is no structure for the sax while far too much for everything else. Thankfully it does eventually wind down.
Fun House (Take 2)
This track is much longer than the album version and is far too busy, though it tones down as the vocals instruct them to. The introduction alone is a minute and a half long. Right from the start it is more erratic and open with a saxophone adding to the tension with high pitched squeals and erratic melody that soon become irritating. The guitar follows the saxophone?s lead, achieving a more natural and chaotic sound than the album version. The vocals are more distinct for the first verse, but become distorted. It is the bass that takes the foreground and holds the track...
