Review of G2 Graphics Tablet
Advantages: Lenses, Build, Feel Disadvantages: Viewfinder, Flash, Auto focus, noise
...I was excited about this camera. I wanted a light system that I could take anywere and I had read many good things about the lenses and build quality. I sold by Nikon N90s and most of my lenses to buy the G2 with 45mm and flash. I also purchased the 28mm and the 90mm and got a $700 rebate from Contax. Great deal! I wanted to love this camera- I really did. And there was much to love- superb lenses. fantistic build, great feel. But after using it for about two years, there were two things I could not get used to. The viewfinder was terrible- small and dark. I expected more for a camera the size of the G2- perhaps the view similar to a Leica M. It was more like the view that a point and shoot would have. The second problem was the flash. I was used to the wonerful fill flash Nikon produces, so the limits of the TLA 200 were...

Review of Contax G2
Advantages: Image quality, camera features, lens quality Disadvantages: Heavier & bigger than some, price
...The G2 is in my view a huge step up from any other camera I have ever owned.
I have been a keen but truly amateur photogrpaher for a long time. Previously I owned a Canon AF1 and then my first digital an early HP model. I am not going back.
So why do I think the G2 is great? Well here goes a short list of what I like (if you want the featuress it offers - visit the Canon website):-
- the image quality is stunning - well balanced in almost all lighting conditions
- the zoom is flexible enough for most shots - supported by 6cm close ups (think a rose) and multishot panoramic capability (think 360 degree shot)
- the colour LCD is great and can be twisted so you can see to snap yourself if noone else is at the Grand canyon when you get there (some chance)
- it does not east batteries with every shot but has it's own...

Advantages: Easy to use, robust Disadvantages: Might not be easy to find on sale
...I love the Canon Power Shot G2 camera that I use in my working life as a journalist/photographer.
It is robust and strong, and is ideal for the busy professional who needs to take quality images quickly.
There are many features on this camera, macro feature and everything else you would expect from a camera of this type.
However, there is something you will not find, a digital zoom. The zoom on the Canon is an optical zoom and this means that the quality of photographs is always sharp and always crisp.
Many people have been severely disappointed when they have taken a new digital camera out of the box and found out that the so-called digital zoom returns sub-standard images.
As I say, this is not the case with the Canon Power Shot G2.
The image screen shows you exactly what the image will be and the screen can be put...

...I own the black special edition G2 which was purchased in the US so paid a little less than the UK prices.
It is the fourth digital camera I have owned in 6 years and by far the best, the previous ones being Sanyo and Agfa.
The primary feature of any digital camera has to be picture quality, this camera certainly delivers this. With the picture quality covered the next thing for me personally is the build quality, everything about the Canon feels quality. Despite not being one which you can slip in your pocket the size is much less than some 35mm cameras.
It is packed with features from in-camera assistance in creating panorama images which can be "stitched" together with the supplied software to manual overide on the shutter speed and exposure settings. (this is very useful for night shots where lights usually cause awful...

Review of Canon PowerShot G2
Advantages: Cheap Disadvantages: Doesn't work properly on WindowsNT
...I bought the G2 because I was looking for a cheap graphics tablet to use for editing family photos, and dabbling with a bit of PC-Art. I didn't expect much from it, but I would rather have liked it if the claims about its compatability with WindowsNT were justified...
The main attraction to the G2 for me was that it is available with a serial port connection. This meant that I could use it with WindowsNT 4.0 - which is my preferred operating system. WindowsNT does not support the new USB interface, so a lot of other graphics tablets are incompatible.
However, I was to be disappointed by i) the poor quality driver, and ii) the lack of interest from Nisis' technical support team.
The driver software is flaky, to say the least. Within minutes of installing it, WindowsNT threw up the 'blue screen of death' - resulting in...

Review of G2 Graphics Tablet
Advantages: Beautiful, small, rock solid, fast, quality construction, full of features, right there with the big boys on performance. Disadvantages: none really. once hooked with a Shuttle then there is no going back.
...These are my first impressions of the new SN41G2 V2.0.
I had the Shuttle SN41G2 V1.0 Black Special Edition since last june. I loved is so much but it had some annoyances. Last week I managed to short circuit the motherboard which rendered the AGP and PCI slots useless, but strangely enough everything still works including the built-in graphics and I have been using it till this morning.
I ordered the new SN41G2 V2.0 and got it this morning. I have to say that the first impression was that the silver colour looks much better that the old SN41G2. It looks more whiter if that makes sense. Under the hood there are many nice changes:
- Officially supports DDR400 [400MHz FSB].
- Comes with the SilentX 250W PC40 PSU instead of the old Enhance 200W PSU.
- The cables are sooooo neatly routed through the case. in the the old SN41G2...

Advantages: A superb web community Disadvantages: You don’t get paid for writing
...The BBC website is one of the greatest, and H2G2 became a part of it in February 2001, so this is an opinion of H2G2, a website in a website, sorry, I know its annoying when an opinion you read isn’t actually about what you wanted, but H2G2 is probably the greatest community website of all (in my humble opinion, of course).
The BBC web site has everything you would want to know about the BBC, its programmes (radio and TV), channels and such. I use it to find out the latest news from my wifes home country of Nigeria, The latest info about Doctor Who and The HitchHikers Guide To The Galaxy, I have bought a CD from the BBC Shop and, well, there's a whole lot more to boot, but as I say this opinion is about H2G2.

...*A review of Extreme G2 (or XG2) for the N64 which primarily focuses on the single-player experience.*
The 'Extreme Contest' (racing in a field of eight) was a let-down, as in Extreme G. The player is required to finish strongly to qualify for the next race - so strongly that the points will have them top the table. It is 'extreme' in that sense, but it's not really a contest when, as leader, there is the risk of being disqualified.
But where there has been change has not been for the better. The 'Shoot Em Up' mode - destroying drone targets for a race duration - has now become 'Arcade' mode, but they may as well have called it 'Sh*t Em Up' as the lack of a limit of laps means it's point system seems pointless and is purely for practice (of which it's no substitute for the real thing).
As if the slight performace problems in...

Review of Extreme G2 (N64)
Advantages: A brilliant comedy...think Adam sandlers waterboy meets a sport that matters! Disadvantages: The fact that they kept out some of the deleted scenes...brilliant!

A review of words will not even come close to the brilliance of the film. It really reveals the way media and fans can turn on a manager following one or two...or loads...of mistakes, then the way we begin to believe and love following one or two brilliant games or decisions...and in Mike Bassetts case a very memorable 4-4-f*****g2 speech!
I would certainly advise every reader to watch this movie atleast once and make their own judgements. Think what you will about my review, but once you watch the film you will understand the pure brilliance of the film.
All actors and directors are to be praised for their portrayal of the beautiful game. The way that each actor shows what we already know about our international stars.
