...Quite recently, I bought an iPod touch from amazon.co.uk with a gift voucher and some money of my own. It cost me £245.99 for the upgraded version, which means there are more applications to make use of. It really is a fine gadget that was well-worth buying. You can do so much on it and it is very small to easily fit in your pocket. I decided to get the 16GB version so I can hold plenty of songs on top of videos, photos and all the rest! It is very fun to use and easy too. Although there are no instruction manuals that come with the iPod touch, you can figure it out for yourself. When using the iPod touch, it is quite self-explanatory as you can see all the different options in the menus and you simply tap around to progress through the menus. It is a small shop, but has plenty of different items to choose from. people of all ages go here, but you do seem to find more adults than children in here. It's a shop fot eh big kids really. Both me and my husband love going in this shop, and we're both big kids at heart. Some of the things the gadget shop sells are:- Singing fish (billy bass) Lava lamps Disco ball Shot glasses cuddly toys and many more things You can find many bargains here, and would make great gifts for people's birthdays and at Christmas too. ...The Gadget Shop is a godsend for buying those impossible presents for men/boys. In my family, there is my dad, and two brothers, and my mum, I find it incredibly hard to find presents for both of my brothers,and my dad. The Gadget shop is very helpful! There is a range of gifts, from just a few pounds to hundreds. I like the layout of the shops, so that products can be tested and played with. There has obviously been a lot of money pumped into these shops, and the quality shows. I particularly like the new Gadget Shop, which is in Oxford Street. It is a massive store, and supplies many different gadgets to the other stores. The prices are reasonable, and quality very good. ...Used Gadget Asia back in January 2008 to purchase a Nintendo DS Lite for one of my daughters. The bundle included 20 games for £145.00. We decided against the fast delivery option as reviews on the web suggested these would arrive with a bill from customs. The unit arrived OK within about 7-10 days and most of the games work fine. Great purchase, good value for money, superb experience. Based on this, we decided to buy another DS Lite bundle from Gadget Asia on 24 August 2008. The bundle this time was a Nintendogs DS Lite with 25 games for £140.99. The unit arrived within the same 7-10 days, but the first problem occurred when we tried to charge up the unit for my daughter's birthday - the charger supplied did not work. ...The Gadget Shop sells all different kinds of things, from clocks to inflatable furniture. I visit The Gadget Shop in Cribbs Causeway, Bristol. They have a small shop in The Mall which is very popular so obvouisly it is very crammed. I go when I have the chance and when it isn't packed with people. You don't really get to look at the items properly because they are all behind glass cabinates so you can't really examine the item that you are interested in. With the items behind glass everyone stands infront of you so if you are small like me then you have no chance seeing anything but other peoples backs and heads! Some things like the inflatable furniture that can't be put behind glass for obvouis reason's are on the floor but then someone sitting in it or people are pushing past you when you are looking. I purchased mine from Home Shopping Direct for £39.99p, as part of my 'save energy' drive! I thought it was going to be just another gadget and hummed and haaed for ages before taking the plunge and buying one. I'm glad I did. It is so easy to use, cooks food nicely (although not as quickly as I thought, a 2kg joint of pork took nearly 3 hours) and plenty of space inside to cook enough for a family of four. (Like mine). It cleans very easily, although to be honest I don't bother with the self clean function as it easy to wash by hand. The lid (which contains the heating element) takes just a wipe over.
