Best Gaming pad around

Advantages: Wireless
Disadvantages: none

...When we bought the Sony PS3 it came with this controller. The controller itself is uses Wireless technology and does come with a charging cable which can be charged by the PS3. You can also buy a Cintroller Charging Station which you put the controllers on when not using and they will charge. The controller has Dualshock which in Game play vibrates, it does this on fighting games when shot or shot at. The controller is an offical Sony product which cost's around £35 but can be bought online for cheaper. Personally I would always but Sony controllers as they are reliable and are guaranteed to work. We have found this item a bonus as we have a 4 year old who loves running around and used to trip over the old wired controllers, now there is no wires to trip over! I would recommend this controller to all gamers as this...

Logitech Game Pad

Advantages: Good design, not too expensive, simple installation.
Disadvantages: Force feedback doesn't work properly, only average battery life.

...So, my old joypad was starting to get unreliable, i just couldn't kickflip on Tony Hawks like i wanted to. My Skyline GTR in Need For Speed Underground would suddenly drive into a wall. A great controller for a great console

...Look and feel I purchased an Xbox 360 Core system on launch day as that was all I could get my hands on so I was stuck for a week or so with the wired controller. When the Wireless controllers finally came back into stock I managed to purchase one and was extremely impressed with it. Do you remember the good old NES controller? a rectangle with some buttons on it! well, controllers have certainly come on since then. The Xbox 360 wireless controller fits into your hands perfectly and feels extremely comfortable. Its not a small controller but it is by no means large either. Its great for long gaming sessions. The standard controller is white, but you can now get a pink, blue, black version too. It a very nicely designed piece of equipment, the buttons all feel solid and the analogue sticks are great. The only downside is the poor D-Pad...

Logic 3 USB PC Game Pad

Advantages: Cheap & Reliable
Disadvantages: To many buttons in the middle

...I have been playing on Rugby 06 for about 2 weeks before I decided to buy a controller to play the game on. I didn't really want to spend over £15. So I decided to buy this controller because it was in the half price sale, so I managed to get it for £5. I found a problem while playing with my keyboard that I could not press more than 3 keys at once, so while you are trying to sprint, and move diagonally, it only allows you to do the last 2 buttons pressed, so it would not let you sprint, which got annoying. I found that with the controller I could press more than 3 buttons which allowed me do execute special moves. To use the controller, you just plug it into the USB on you PC, and it will work because it is plug and play. This means that you do not have to install any drivers so can start playing with it sooner than you think...

Razer eXactMat Gaming Pad

Advantages: Quaility made mousemat, Gaming grade surface, Excellent for Razer Mice

...Two great mouse surfaces for the price of one! Oneside has been designed for speed and the other side has been designed for control. I use the pad in conjunction with a Razer Mouse and gone of the days of lost mouse control. My own preference is to use the speed surface. The pad is large rectangular aluminium sufface covered by Razer's own special surface. To feel I would say the surface is some kind of advanced plastic coating. Both sides are uniquely different, the speed side of the pad more fine than the control side surface. To complete the feel I also go the Exactmat Hand rest, a gel filled rest that allows long and continued gaming. If your a hardcore gamer and need that little more control I would definately recomend this pad, not only for the control it offers but also for its cool locks. Recommended....

The Wiimote has changed gaming

Advantages: Easy to use, unique and fun
Disadvantages: Batteries run out quickly

.... The remote also has a little slot on the bottom for the Nunchunk controller to be plugged in as this is used as well as the Wiimote in some games. The remote is used in almost all games and works really well. You can use the remote in games like Mario Kart like a steering wheel but in shooting games you can use it like a gun. It is very clever controller and my opinion has changed gaming from pressing buttons to actually what can be quite an active thing where you are flinging the controller around like a tennis racket. This controller is the whole reason while the Wii is still in high demand and how it can compete with the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 which both have much better graphics and entertainment features where the Wii is lacking. This is a brilliant controller but I would advise you get a charging station because the batteries run out...
