Gameboy Advance SP, what does SP stand for?

Advantages: Portable, plenty of supporters, battery life, front lit screen
Disadvantages: No earphone port, no 3D graphics, average sound reproduction

...Let me tell you a little story, a true story that happened in my life. When the Gameboy Advance SP first came out, I was among the first people to rush down to my nearest game store, barge all the little kids out of my ways thanks to my being older, bigger and chunkier, and purchasing one of the first lot of Gameboy Advance SP's. Gameboy Advance - Vision Retreat

Advantages: Graphics are amazing
Disadvantages: The screen can be difficult to see

...What is it? ----------- The Gameboy Advance is the latest handheld games console from Nintendo. It is available in blue, white, clear blue and clear pink. I bought the clear blue console and it is apparantly the most popular. Unlike the Gameboy which was longer in height than width, the Gameboy Advance sits much more comfortably in the hands as it is much longer in width. Gameboy Advance

Advantages: Great colour graphics, long battery life
Disadvantages: No backlight, expensive games

...I first bought the original gameboy in 1993 for my birthday and at the time it was the latest craze and every one had to have one. What appealed to me was the addictive gameplay and of course its portability. Well a modern, colour gameboy was long overdue and at long last Nintendo have produced it. I bought my gameboy for £60 due to it being imported from Japan, but most shops currently sell it for £89.99. When I first turned it on with Mariokart Advance inside I was amazed at the speed and quality of graphics. It is a 32 bit machine which means it is twice as fast as a SNES, and it's graphics twice as good. The sound quality is quite good, although could have been better since there is only one speaker. ...The gameboy has long been a firm favourite of children and adults alike and has been the most successful console ever, outliving all other consoles which nintendo or any other company has produced, be it sony or sega. Gameboy SP

Advantages: Lots of fun
Disadvantages: Can get a big obsessive

...I was 17 in March, and I'm indesicive to say the least, so I always get completely random birthday presents to save the hassle of actually asking me! From my parents I got lots of lovely clothes and jewelery, driving lessons, quality digital camera and money. Friends got me an assortment of smellies and other girly stuff. Gameboy advance retreats us to dark ages

Advantages: Big graphics and sound improvement
Disadvantages: Poor screen, game value

...Fearful of being bored sometime during my six week stay in Canada, I saved up and bought a GameBoy Advance to keep me occupied. I bought it from GAME and with the help of a lovely female assistant I managed to get a new black GameBoy Advance, a free game (Wario 4), and three second hand games (F-Zero, Golden Sun and Doom) all for £100. I get home and I put in the inclusive batteries and I play Wario 4, expecting some of that classic platform gaming action... The screen is more widescreen than the previous generations of GameBoys, it has a nice display variety of colours, pretty much matching Nintendo's SNES console for graphics and capabilities, many of the games like F-Zero are mostly updated ports of SNES games. If they're going to keep porting games from the SNES, I would most like to see Chrono Trigger but then again I don't think...

I certainly was rooted firmly in the Sega camp having had a Mega Drive for many, many years with games like Street of Rage, Ecco the Dolphin and of course, Sonic the Hedgehog. ...Having seen the advert for this game i was desperate to buy it as i have not had my wii for that long and i do not have many games. I eventually bought this game and i am so glad that i did as it is great fun. Players This game can be played as a one player or multiplayer as long as you have a wii remote for each player. Also you will need a nunchuck for each player although some of the games you can play with just the remote. Characters In this game you can play as characters from either sonic or mario such as sonic, tails, mario, princess daisy and yoshi. Each of the characters have different abilities which are split into speed, skill, power and stamina. you can choose a character who is a speed, skill, power or all around type which means that if you are playing a running game you would choose a character from the speed type...
