...Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare, Quite possibly the best xbox game ever I have been a big fan of the call of duty series for many years now. My quest started out with the original Call of Duty on my PC followed by Call of Duty 2, once again on my PC then guess what Call of duty 3 was released which meant I was forced to go buy an Xbox to play it on as it was not released for the PC platform. How annoyed was I, well i thought about boycotting the game for a whole 20 seconds anyway. First person shooters are my favourite genere of game and this latest edition from Infinity Ward does not disappoint at all. You play as the SAS and the US Marine corp and the game is based around a terrorist plot in the USSR and the Middle East. Advantages: Good Missions, Good Graphics
Disadvantages: Some missions load very slowly

...This game is the sequel in the Call of Duty series. I don't usually go for these types of games but playing the game on the XBOX 360 at a local games store has left me in a different state of mind about it. The PC version is just as good as the 360 version. Although the better HD graphics on the 360 are unmatchable on the PC's TFT. The game play is just as good and so is the music and feel of the game. I liked the fact that you can fight in different army's from around the world and the accents the characters produce are excellent. I like the fact that it is not restricted to foot battle as you can also fight in tanks in some missions. I hope there is some plane fighting as well as I have not gone that far into the game yet. ...To coin a phrase "I couldn't put it down." It was frankly stunning. I almost felt the bullets leave my gun... thats how involved it was. The game was stunningly visual and the A.I. works very well. The new input of cut scenes which require the gamer to fight the enemy while enjoying the game's visuals. As you play the game you feel more and more involved as the game drags you into its story line. The normal call of duty game play is evident it almost surpasses that you encounter on PC. Down the sight works perfectly on the ps3 unlike it did on ps2. The new trigger buttons that are used on the ps3 controllers are very useful. Buy this game you will not be dissapointed.... ...and it is easy to find one with players of your own ability. You can play on many maps, many of which feature in the single player missions. You can play with up to 64 other people however I find the game is much more enjoyable with less than 20. A substantial amount of different modes ensure you don't get bored. Performance The graphics are great but that means you need a hefty PC to run it. A 8800gt copes with it fine and the game look glorious but with older hardware expect to tone it down. I played and pitiful settings with a X1300Pro but the game still looked decent. Overall Call of Duty 4 is, in my opinion, a must have for PC gamers. The multiplayer scene is so huge you can see it still being played for years to come. The single player is enjoyable even completing it again at a harder difficulty. ...I got my copy of COD3 on the day it was released and I am still playing it today. I must have played over 500 hours COD3 on my PC. It is the finest WW2 game I have ever played Playability- I play Call of Duty 3 mostly for the Multiplayer, so if you have a good internet connection Call of Duty 4 is a perfect first person shooter. The single player is fantastic the combat in the game is incredible and there is nothing like it in any other game. The game is very enjoyable, if u like none stop action. Addictiveness-This game is unbelievably addictive. With so many options available like guns and maps, there is plenty of content to get stuck into without getting bored. ...I got Call Of Duty 4 On the day it was released in the United Kingdom - And I have to say I have loved it since then. I play computer games quite abit, having racked up more than 600+ hours Of call of duty 2 on the PC. No game has ever caught my attention for longer than a month, except call of duty 2. ...This is by far the best pc game out this year. Ive played Call of Duty 2 and there is much improvement since that. Call of Duty 3 i didnt not get to play as it did not come out for PC. This game was stunning from the start there was not a moment when i was disapointed with the game. It starts off with a training mode this will help you decide what difficulty is recomended for you. The first mission was just amazing it was on a tanker and it was raining heavily and you get dropped off by a helicopter. I jus thought the enviroment was so realistic how wen the tanker tilts you tilt too. The graphics are jus stunning and the visual effects are superb its the best pc game ive played in a while. For me playing online games this is one of the best in my collection,Yes u need a strong PC to run it but it is worth every cent of upgrading.Yes and a good adsl line will do the thing for your latency. My comments on..... Enjoyment and value for money. Please do yourself a favour and buy this ,it will give u endless pleasure. Difficulty Well if u used to FPS games u will get the hang of it quick. My personal Experince Well like i said u need Some strong Pc to run this game, I was alway a softy for HDR lighting effects and dynamic shadows in any game ,and what awesome effects there is in this game. ...Having completed the original Call of Duty on the pc and enjoyed playing online i was eager to see what the follow up would be like on my brand spanking new Xbox 360 and the online differences would be. Dissapointed? Not at all. The follow up is everything the original was and more. To begin with the game itself just looks so much better. Landscapes, characters, vehicles and buildings are so much more detailed. The explosions are so realistic, you even want to cough when you run through the smoke it just looks that good. The enemies also seem to be a lot more intelligent than in the first game, although you still run into the odd thicko that just stands waiting to be shot.
