What Games Do You Like To Play?

Advantages: A gripping story, engaging characters, and you'll never guess who did it until the very end!
Disadvantages: Some may find the murders too gruesome to stomach!

...Want To Play? This is the debut psychological thriller by an American mother - daughter team. It is part of their ongoing Monkeewrench series (the American title of this book), the latest being Snow Blind which was out in September 2006. The first three books went on to become National and International bestsellers. What made me pick us this book online was the fact that one of my favourite authors Harlen Coben spoke so highly of it, so in an instant I just new that the chances were I'd enjoy it. Grace MacBride is part of the Monkeewrench team, who are in the process of creating a new computer game which involves the player solving murders. Going on else where in Minneapolis are a couple of gruesome murders that at first glance seem unrelated to each other. Grace however soon realizes that these very murders are exact copies...

Review of Want to Play? - PJ Tracy

Play to the end

Advantages: Facinating story
Disadvantages: Long Chapters!!

...Background: I have read several novels written by Robert Goddard in the past few months. His books are usually exciting thrillers and of the ones I have read I have enjoyed his style and his storylines. So when I saw this one at my local jumble sale I was keen to purchase it at the fantastic price of just 20 pence. About the author: Robert Goddard was born in Hampshire in 1954. He is an international best selling author and was nominated for the Edgar Award for his novel 'Beyond Recall' in 1999. He has written twenty novels so far of which three are from the Harry Barnett series. The novel I am reviewing was written in 2004. Synopsis of the book: Toby Flood has come down to Brighton to appear in a play. His career has spluttered since his early success on the television and he hopes by appearing in the relatively unknown...

==Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games (Wii)==

Advantages: variety of games to play
Disadvantages: Slow loading

...Mario & Sonic at the olympic games was the first game i bought after getting a Wii for christmas. I personally think that it is an excellent first game to get for the Wii. You can happily play for hours and hours becuase of the wide variety of events you can play. These events include; *"Swimming" *"Archery" *"Running" *"Hurdles" *"Long jump" *"Triple jump" *High jump" *"Pole vault" *"Hammer throw" *"Javeline throw" *"Epée" *"Trampoline" *"Vault" *"Rowing" *"Skeet" *"Tennis" So as you can see by this list you have a wide variety to choose from but you also have the options of unlocking different games, this can be done by breaking records and so on. Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games is fun for all the family to enjoy because it has a multiplayer option of upto 4 people. You also get to choose from all your favourite...

Play.com - Ideal place to purchase your dvd's & games etc

Advantages: Cheap, easy to use & fast delivery
Disadvantages: none

...Play.com is a website that sells DVDs, CDs, computer games, gadgets, clothes, gifts etc etc Whenever im purchasing anything form play.com i go through Qudco as i also get cash back by doing that (every penny counts). Its a nice simple website to use, if you cant find what you are looking for using the links at the top of the site then you can use the search facility. The prices on this site are amazing. A new DVD in the shops cost about £14.99, the same DVD would cost £12ish this includes (P+P) & most of the time they have some sot of sale on & you can get DVD's for £5, the same applies for the computer games, they are priced from £10. You can also sell your stuff on this site, so if you have old games, dvd's, books etc its a good way of getting rid of them. It also has customer reviews of whatever it is you want to buy, so you can...

Now you can compete in the olympic games

Advantages: fun, variety of events
Disadvantages: muscle strain

...Having seen the advert for this game i was desperate to buy it as i have not had my wii for that long and i do not have many games. I eventually bought this game and i am so glad that i did as it is great fun. Players This game can be played as a one player or multiplayer as long as you have a wii remote for each player. Also you will need a nunchuck for each player although some of the games you can play with just the remote. Characters In this game you can play as characters from either sonic or mario such as sonic, tails, mario, princess daisy and yoshi. Each of the characters have different abilities which are split into speed, skill, power and stamina. you can choose a character who is a speed, skill, power or all around type which means that if you are playing a running game you would choose a character from the speed type...

Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games (Wii)

Advantages: Great fun, realistic actions
Disadvantages: Will tire you out easily

...During the 1990s, if you had a games console you would have probably been in one of two camps: Sega or Nintendo. I certainly was rooted firmly in the Sega camp having had a Mega Drive for many, many years with games like Street of Rage, Ecco the Dolphin and of course, Sonic the Hedgehog. I was a huge Sonic fan, playing the first and second game until completion and then starting up again a few days later as I loved everything about it, the colours, the gameplay.... everything. So if you tried to convince me that some 10-15 years later that Sonic and Mario would team up in a game, I probably would have just laughed. Back then it would have been an absurd thought but one that any magazine reviewer or computer game fanboy would have only dreamed about. Well January 2008 saw this realisation with the release of Sonic & Mario...

Don't play games - read this!

Advantages: Well written, absorbing, good characters
Disadvantages: None

...move she ever made? I first came across Veronica Henry when my mum told me to read "Love on the Rocks" by her, and I absolutely adored that book - it was well written and such an enjoyable read. I have Veronica's "Honeycote" series on my shelf to read, and I can't wait to get around to reading them. I was so excited to get a copy of Veronica's latest book, the stand-alone story "Marriage and Other Games", which is Veronica's 7th book. I was expecting an absorbing and brilliant read, and that is certainly what I got from the book! I passed the novel onto my mum as well, and she enjoyed just as much as I did, proving Veronica's novels appeal across the generations! The story, although primarily and initially following the life of Charlotte, does branch out into several characters and I really liked this. There was always something new...

Are You Ready To Play?

Advantages: Keeps your child amused whilst they learn
Disadvantages: None really!

...Tweenies Party Games and Giggles Are You Ready To Play At the moment I seem to be going through my daughters DVD collection for reviews as there does not seem to be many reviews on childrens television DVD?s and we have brought a few bad ones so hopefully my reviews will help make your decision about whether buying these DVD?s are worth it or not. This DVD, though, I will say now ? if your child is a fan, it is well worth it. My daughter started getting into The Tweenies a number of months ago, though Cbeebies only seemed to put them on once a day at 7am (which we do always catch as we are up between 5.30 and 6.30 usually ? why do young children love this time of the morning?!). It got to the point that my daughter wanted to watch Tweenies more than once a day so as Cbeebies didn?t step up the mark and play it more (which was...

* No Play to be had with Durex Play Feel *

Advantages: No smell, colourless, doesn't stain clothes
Disadvantages: Doesn't work like the packaging says

...Durex Play Feel I had some Boots vouchers spare, need some condoms and spotted Durex's Play range. I'm not a massive fan of lubes. They always seem to dry me up but my boyfriend said oooh lets get some so I relented. No clue why he picked the Feel bottle but he did. So in the basket, it went. Then lots of blushing at the till and off home. It's buy one get one free on selected Durex items in Boots at the moment. No clue how long it will last. The vouchers paid for everything that day so technically it was free but if you're just buying it, it's £3.55 for a 50ml. It's also available in 100ml bottles. I've seen it in Boots for £5.55. Other products in the Play range are Play Tingle, Heat, Sensations (a packet of different lubes testers so to say), 2 in 1 massage and Play Vibrators (only available in Superdrug...

Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games

Advantages: Great multiplayer fun, lots to do
Disadvantages: Slightly Repetetive

...itself the other two are where the fun is to be had. Circuit mode sees you take part in a series of events, while competing for the top score in each, the winner at the end of the circuit will then be awarded with the trophy. The mission mode is different in that you will be given a set task such as winning an event or beating a certain character, winning a mission will light up one of five stars, light up all five and the prize is yours, each character has it's own missions so it should take you a while to light up all their stars. Versus play, like most multiplayer games is where the main fun is to be had, should you know at least one other person with a DS then just try to stop playing this, there is noting quite like competing against someone you know to bring out the real competitor in you after all. As far as the graphics go...
