...I used to play this game when I was a kid, it has been out since 1997, and I think we got it when we got one of our computers (you remember when you got random games with your computers!!), and I used to play it! To be honest in the last few years I haven't thought about it, but when I was in the shop Game the other day, and found out I had accumulated £10 on my game reward card I thought I'd look for some things to buy, and this game was in a section for 3 for £10, as I had found a couple of other games I wanted, I thought I'd get this too! Logic 3 USB PC Game Pad

Advantages: Cheap & Reliable
Disadvantages: To many buttons in the middle

...I have been playing on Rugby 06 for about 2 weeks before I decided to buy a controller to play the game on. I didn't really want to spend over £15. So I decided to buy this controller because it was in the half price sale, so I managed to get it for £5. I found a problem while playing with my keyboard that I could not press more than 3 keys at once, so while you are trying to sprint, and move diagonally, it only allows you to do the last 2 buttons pressed, so it would not let you sprint, which got annoying. I found that with the controller I could press more than 3 buttons which allowed me do execute special moves. To use the controller, you just plug it into the USB on you PC, and it will work because it is plug and play. This means that you do not have to install any drivers so can start playing with it sooner than you think...

Advantages: Greater than the sum of its parts
Disadvantages: Its only a computer game

...Personally I find that most games are of little interest and a quick look is enough, a few are worth investigating further, and a minority are like books you cannot put down. Space Rangers is one of those and I have wasted a fair bit of time on it, ok if you have little else to do but don't get it otherwise! There is some confusion over the title because the label shows 'Space @ Rangers' the '@'-type symbol being a stylised '2', so it is actually 'Space Rangers 2', sometimes referred to as 'SR2: Dominators' or 'Rise of the Dominators' and includes the earlier version of 'Space Rangers' on the disc I saw somewhere that this game was released in 2002 but a year ago was said to be 'almost unknown' and 'Hard to find'. Now a quick search reveals more reviews than I remember for any other computer game, and it's available on Amazon...

Fun game improved dramatically by PC version

Advantages: Good graphics, very playable.
Disadvantages: A little slow to load etc

...If you've played the boardgame version of this, you'll be familiar with the irritating little things which happen as you play - kids falling out of the cars, the spinner taking off and needing to be fixed almost every time, and trying to keep track of all the different cards. Put all that behind you and enjoy the PC version! In this version, all the familiar aspects of the game are there: you still choose your career path and then randomly get a career and salary at the end of it - this time via a nifty little spinner graphic and cash till. You won't be in a Crysis when choosing your new PC game!

Advantages: Amazing gameplay, graphics and multiplayer
Disadvantages: you will need a fairly new pc to run it

...I first downloaded the demo of this game when I recieved my new gaming computer and I couldn't belive my eyes. This game is stunning from the word go, the plot is gripping, the graphics are amazing and the gameplay is unlimited. I have never played anything like it before so naturally it was the first game on my christmas list. You play as a young man called Nomad that has been sent into korean terratory to save some acheologists, who had discovered somthing 'unusual'. Every little aspect of this game is amazing from the realistic explosions, trees breaking at the point where you hit them or the fact you can throw frogs around is never ending. Hotel Giant PC Game - Not The Sims!

...Walking through my local Comet store with the husband, we were discussing games for 'girlies' when I said that I fancied something a little bit business like, something like The Sims, but with a purpose to aim for. On the bargain rail, there was a copy of the PC game Hotel Giant. Reading the info, it was basically saying that it was about running, designing and then building up your business, based within a hotel. It sounded really interesting, and only needed basic specs such as the normal ram and spaces with games. The good thing that I liked was it was playable on older machines, so no worrying about compatibility. We paid £2.50 for it and off home we went. Firstly, it loaded fairly fast, the graphics are more adult than other pc games of this ilk such as Theme Hospital, so although the age range was 8+, it was suitable...

Still my favourite game on the pc

Advantages: fun, good graphics for it's time, wide choice of weapons

...This is a really old game I know but it is still one of the games I play most on the pc and beats most other games for me. The reason I like worms so much is the sounds and I just think that when they talk it sounds funny. It is more fun when you have more people playing and I used to play it in my lunch hour at college. We would go back to a mates house and just kill each other. In worms you can be really mean and kill a whole team in one shot. You can also take big risks and mess up. You just don't really know what is going to happen until you have took your go. It is so easy to try and be greedy and try to kill many worms in your go but then mess up halfway through and kill your worm(s).
