Bridging the GAP

Advantages: Quality clothes which endure wash after wash
Disadvantages: Clothes may seem expensive to some

...Up until recently l had not really bothered about Gap - l simply used the store in Belfast as a short cut into the CastleCourt shopping centre. One-day l decided ld stop and take a look. The Belfast Store is extremely busy and crams a lot into a small space - women’s wear, men’s wear and junior sizes. A separate store exists for babies and toddlers. (I must emphasis that this is only the case in the Belfast Store - other stores have everything under one roof) Clothes may seem expensive but l do not mind paying that little bit extra when it comes to quality. I find Gap clothes to have that edge over others. They wash well, keep their shape and endure well! The style (for women anyway!) is mostly casual - with their hooded sweatshirts, jeans, tee shirts and baseball caps. I bought a pair of Gap jeans on Friday...

GAP ..... shop of choice

Advantages: Good quality, good style, good prices
Disadvantages: short and wide

...Gap is probably my favourite clothes shop. You always know, if you decide to wander into one of the many nearby Gap shops, that there will be cheap, good quality, nice looking assistants...woops, make that clothes, for you to buy. Seriously, I don't think I have ever paid full price for anything at Gap - why would I? Half the shop is a sale rail. I'm not complaining though. The Clothes Gap sells pretty much everything. Tops, Jackets, trousers, jeans, male and female, little accessories, the legendary khakis.....pretty much everything but shoes. I tend to either buy t-shirts or trousers from Gap, and they are always good quality and wash well. The only thing I have noticed about Gap tops is that they seem to be short and wide - though I believe this is because Americans are short and fat. I dunno. Availability Gap is...

...Gap for kids is an excellent if a little bit pricey shop. My local gap store is about 25 miles away so its not a store that I frequent on a regular basis. In away this is a very good thing as I never get bored with the range of clothing inbetween my infrequent visits they've always changed the stock. Gap for kids and Babygap have cornered the market in high quality clothing at affordable prices, even more affordable if you head straight to the old bargain rail. The clothing for babies and toddlers is a little bit traditional with a modern day twist to it. For old children it tends to be a bit more outdoor like in style - you'll not find any frilly dresses here! The coats are second to none, warm, well made and easily cleaned. If you're after clothing for kids that is casual but a little bit dressy then Gap is the place to head...

  Perfect for the CD Collection!

...I started to watch ITV lunch time show Loose Women just over a year ago. At the time, I was unaware of who any of the panellists were. Though now I know quite a bit about these fantastic women, one of which is the lovely Jane McDonald. Jane is a singer, and has had various albums released. The one I own is called 'The Collection'. The CD cover itself has a picture of Jane her self, dressed in a trendy denim jacket, her smile stretched broadly across her face. The colours behind her are beautiful; a shining shade of deep purple with a hint from silver stars. It's very attractive, definitely one to draw the attention in. The Collection has nineteen tracks on it, each listed on the back of the CD case. I scanned over them briefly before listening, finding that I had heard of some of the tracks before. My parcel wasn't collect for 9 days! Not good enough!

Advantages: Website is very straight forward and simple to use. Service is good value.
Disadvantages: Goods very delayed. Might never have got there if I hadn't noticed a problem!

I have to say that at this point I was very impressed as the website was easy to use and explained things very well. Wonderful Gap

...I am always attracted to the gap shops, I just can’t help myself, whether it be I’m shopping for myself or my cousin. I always end up buying something from the store. I like buying jeans from their as I like the way they are cut, and they usually last a long time. The store usually is split into two sections, whereby they have an adult department and children’s one. I always think they have a more men’s range than a woman’s, or that maybe me, because I feel there is not enough to chose from.
