In the night garden ninky nonk train set

Advantages: strong, versatile, compact, nice bright colours, fun to play with
Disadvantages: none so far

...I decided to buy the in the night garden ninky nonk train set from Amazon as my young daughter is a big fan of in the night garden and whenever it comes on TV she gets really excited. So as my daughter already had some of the other characters from the show I wanted her to have the whole set and since buying it the train set the ninky nonk train set has become one of her favourite toys to play with on a daily basis. The train set can come apart and be attached on many different ways and my daughter enjoys looking at the nice bright colours and putting some of the other in the night garden characters onto the train set even though it keeps falling of now and again it keeps her busy and sometimes I hear her in fits of giggles. The train set is very cute and versatile and its great as children such as mine can have hours of fun with it...

The rather twee modern image of a jousting competition with well-mannered knights all played by either Brian Blessed and Sean Connery is not quite what I'm getting at. At tournaments, the nobility would fight according to a rather strict code of conduct and, basically, kill or maim one another. Following the Fence

Advantages: An entertaining and eye-opening experience
Disadvantages: Some minor intercultural issues

...'Rabbit Proof Fence' is one of a personal trilogy of films which includes 'Lantana' and 'Black and White' (the last of which was shown at the Regus London Film Festival, and sadly may not achieve general release in this country). What these three fantastic films represent to me is a realisation that not only does Australia produce fantastic films of a quirky or humorous bent, but also that it produces brilliant serious dramas or films that are of a thought-provoking nature. The similarities between 'Rabbit Proof Fence' and 'Black and White' are fairly self-evident. Both films consider the treatment of the indigenous Aboriginal people by the Colonial powers - sadly, according to one actor from 'Black and White', little progress appears to really have been made in the fifty years since the real life events depicted in the film...

Wilkinson fence sprayer - the cheaper alternative!

Advantages: Cheap, effective, quick, reliable, multi-purpose
Disadvantages: Needs a blank fence panel for best results.

...-seating it when it is covered in preservative. Filling the sprayer is also straightforward as the opening at the top is over 10cm across, so pouring in the fence preservative is easy enough. Some inevitably spills on the outside, so a quick rinse down is recommended, as well as filling it on a piece of garden that will not be ruined by a little preservative! A few pumps and you are ready to go! A hint - if you fill the sprayer to the full mark, you only need a handful of pumps to fully pressurise it (good) BUT you need to re-pump every 20 secs of so as the volume of compressed air is so small. Better to HALF fill and then 10-20 pumps will allow you to do a whole 6ft x 6ft panel with ease; a few more pumps and the next panel is done too.... The ads claim 'a panel in 4 minutes' - I can confirm that this is a GENEROUS estimate...

Molly was actually mixed-race, not ?pure? Aborigine ? and although any kind of distinction and categorisation like this disgusts most right-thinking people nowadays, it wasn?t the case in those days. There was a policy of removing mixed race children from their Aborigine mothers, and placing them in institutions, in an attempt to stop Aborigines breeding with the whites, and, presumably stop further inter-racial breeding with the mixed-race children. Advantages: Excellent for cardio-vascular, as well as for the mind. Looks cool.
