...I like to have stylish furniture, I bought this for my dads house in cyprus and it looks fabolous in the summer, we even use it in the house during the rest of the year. Not only does it look good but it also brings extremely good comfort, the cushions have special foam in them which has been designed to ensure maximum comfort. The cane used is of excellent quality, selected and shaped to ensure the best standard of product possible. It is very easy to assembly, with clear instructions given, so anybody can do it! I found mine at bnq for £299. However i am unsure if they still stock them but i have seen many available on ebay, offers varying. They really are a pleasure to sit/lay on and enjoy the sun or even have them inside the house. Would really reccomend them to anybody wishing to purchase a value for money...

Aluminium Garden Furniture

Advantages: Looks Unusual

...After having our garden landscaped 2 years ago, including more decking than you could shake a stick at, we decided that our old, white plastic garden furniture just didn't match anymore. After much deliberation, we decided on aluminium furniture and scoured all the local outlets. We settled for a hexagonal table, with a bronze coloured aluminim frame and a frosted glass top. The top had a hole in the middle to take the cream coloured wind-up parasol. The six aluminim framed chairs had a sort of plastic coated wire mesh as a seat, which was light and practical, and dried out within minutes after a shower of rain. It cost a total of £500 for the lot, including 2 matching sun loungers. The whole suite looked excellent, and was very easy to keep clean - just a wipe with a damp cloth. The glass top did, however, get grubby...

In the night garden ninky nonk train set

Advantages: strong, versatile, compact, nice bright colours, fun to play with
Disadvantages: none so far

...I decided to buy the in the night garden ninky nonk train set from Amazon as my young daughter is a big fan of in the night garden and whenever it comes on TV she gets really excited. So as my daughter already had some of the other characters from the show I wanted her to have the whole set and since buying it the train set the ninky nonk train set has become one of her favourite toys to play with on a daily basis. The train set can come apart and be attached on many different ways and my daughter enjoys looking at the nice bright colours and putting some of the other in the night garden characters onto the train set even though it keeps falling of now and again it keeps her busy and sometimes I hear her in fits of giggles. The train set is very cute and versatile and its great as children such as mine can have hours of fun with it...

...I recently bought a teak garden table, chairs and parasol made by Alexander Rose. Because of the price - we looked around to try to find an equivalent product which was cheaper. Unfortunately, having seen the Alexander Rose range, nothing else compared in terms of quality or comfort (I didn't realise wooden chairs could be so comfortable!). Everything else seemed rather flimsy or rickety in comparison. I think that their products are a very good choice ethically as well. Most of the furniture is made in a village in Ghana where they pay their workers a fair wage and give them and their family health care. They're also strict about where their wood is sourced from, to ensure that it's sustainable. The furniture I bought is beautiful and unlike a lot of other garden furniture on the market, doesn't have to be treated, although...

Gorgeous dolls house furniture!

There are various sets of furniture available to fit in this, or indeed any other, dolls house including bathroom, living room, kitchen, nursery and bedroom furniture. Earlier this year she received the set of living room furniture which she loves playing with and it is so cute I just had to tell you about it! The Mighty Mars Bar

...This is perhaps the most classic chocolate bar from my childhood. It has long been my favourite as a kid and I sort of have to say it still is so as not to feel as if I have disowned it (sorry Mars Bar but I have found other favourites - I still love you though!). 'A Mars a day helps you work rest and play' - this was the little catchphrase that was associated with Mars Bar. Funny really; it's like saying a chocolate bar a day is good for you. The slogan has now changed to 'Pleasure you can't measure' which definitely seems more appropriate. A standard Mars bar comes at 58g, about 11cm long and 1.8cm high. You'll pay about 32p for this bar in supermarkets which is well below the norm of 50p. They used to be more expensive but in recent years, the classic nougat and caramel filling has obviously lost its appeal as new and more...

Advantages: Good quality, nice looking sofas
Disadvantages: Take forever to arrive, go somewhere smaller and you can take your suite away

..., which isn't guaranteed! The seat backs and arm cushions are attached to the sofa with zips, and one seat-back zip has broken just from our sitting against it! Perhaps not worth the money after all. I now think you're better off going into a less well known, smaller furniture retailer and buying a suite for about £500. It probably won't be ruined much before a DFS suite and it's not so gutting to have to replace!...

White, Sherbourne furniture - not wardrobes

Disadvantages: No measurements on initial plan, designer didn't give full options of various height/depth/widths.

Lots of flexibility regarding height, width and depth but designer tends to draw what THEY like, where THEY want it, so be ASSERTIVE and ask loads of questions about alternatives/options/measurements/positioning. Initially, we nearly ended up with low level bedside cabinets, hadn't initially been told we could have more suitable mid level - all because designer drew what SHE likes!! Also had to absolutely INSIST she move kneehole dresser to where I wanted it as opposed to where she wanted to put to be "symetrical" - who cares, it's MY bedroom. She chose 500mm deep dresser top, same as existing for "more floor space" (as fitted butting right up to wall as opposed to Schreiber self assembly which had 5" gap behind it - because of previous rad position, which would be moved for Sharps furniture, thus closing that gap...
