...I like to have stylish furniture, I bought this for my dads house in cyprus and it looks fabolous in the summer, we even use it in the house during the rest of the year. Not only does it look good but it also brings extremely good comfort, the cushions have special foam in them which has been designed to ensure maximum comfort. The cane used is of excellent quality, selected and shaped to ensure the best standard of product possible. It is very easy to assembly, with clear instructions given, so anybody can do it! I found mine at bnq for £299. However i am unsure if they still stock them but i have seen many available on ebay, offers varying. They really are a pleasure to sit/lay on and enjoy the sun or even have them inside the house. Would really reccomend them to anybody wishing to purchase a value for money...

In the night garden ninky nonk train set

Advantages: strong, versatile, compact, nice bright colours, fun to play with
Disadvantages: none so far

...I decided to buy the in the night garden ninky nonk train set from Amazon as my young daughter is a big fan of in the night garden and whenever it comes on TV she gets really excited. So as my daughter already had some of the other characters from the show I wanted her to have the whole set and since buying it the train set the ninky nonk train set has become one of her favourite toys to play with on a daily basis. The train set can come apart and be attached on many different ways and my daughter enjoys looking at the nice bright colours and putting some of the other in the night garden characters onto the train set even though it keeps falling of now and again it keeps her busy and sometimes I hear her in fits of giggles. The train set is very cute and versatile and its great as children such as mine can have hours of fun with it...

...After having our garden landscaped 2 years ago, including more decking than you could shake a stick at, we decided that our old, white plastic garden furniture just didn't match anymore. After much deliberation, we decided on aluminium furniture and scoured all the local outlets. We settled for a hexagonal table, with a bronze coloured aluminim frame and a frosted glass top. The top had a hole in the middle to take the cream coloured wind-up parasol. The six aluminim framed chairs had a sort of plastic coated wire mesh as a seat, which was light and practical, and dried out within minutes after a shower of rain. It cost a total of £500 for the lot, including 2 matching sun loungers. The whole suite looked excellent, and was very easy to keep clean - just a wipe with a damp cloth. The glass top did, however, get grubby...

I nearly did myself an injury when I stepped up onto the display to try out a chair, I hadn?t noticed that the concrete slabs were balanced, very precariously on a few bricks, stand on one edge and HEY HO! There you go!! And so I very nearly did along with several bottles of Lemon oil for burners! After that fright I was very careful what I tried out, wondering if they had screwed everything together properly or if they had a camera trained on you to watch you land with your legs in the air, providing them with some film to send to Kirsty?s videos! We were really quite disappointed although they had a large range, the range was mostly cheap...

...I recently bought a teak garden table, chairs and parasol made by Alexander Rose. Because of the price - we looked around to try to find an equivalent product which was cheaper. Unfortunately, having seen the Alexander Rose range, nothing else compared in terms of quality or comfort (I didn't realise wooden chairs could be so comfortable!). Everything else seemed rather flimsy or rickety in comparison. I think that their products are a very good choice ethically as well. Most of the furniture is made in a village in Ghana where they pay their workers a fair wage and give them and their family health care. They're also strict about where their wood is sourced from, to ensure that it's sustainable. The furniture I bought is beautiful and unlike a lot of other garden furniture on the market, doesn't have to be treated, although...

White, Sherbourne furniture - not wardrobes

Disadvantages: No measurements on initial plan, designer didn't give full options of various height/depth/widths.

...Replacing previous 12 year old MFI Schrieber self assembly units with more or less same. Sharps fit 'wall to wall' and my stuff was going along a wall under a window, so radiator and elec sockets to be moved. Insisted designer add to paperwork "deposit fully refundable until surveyor visit", then I wouldn't let surveyor visit until we'd got these jobs done and ready to fully commit to non-refundable purchase. Silly to risk losing deposit if elecs and plumbing could not go where I wanted them and that work completed. Sharps did try to push me along to let the surveyor in (unsuccessfully - I set the pace but did get our side of the work done quickly). Visited showroom 23 May, designer 24th, surveyor 11 June, delivery 18th and fitted 19th. 3 chests of drawers, kneehole dresser, corner top opening unit and 2 bedside cabinets. No...

Advantages: Good quality, nice looking sofas
Disadvantages: Take forever to arrive, go somewhere smaller and you can take your suite away

..., which isn't guaranteed! The seat backs and arm cushions are attached to the sofa with zips, and one seat-back zip has broken just from our sitting against it! Perhaps not worth the money after all. I now think you're better off going into a less well known, smaller furniture retailer and buying a suite for about £500. It probably won't be ruined much before a DFS suite and it's not so gutting to have to replace!...
