Grand View Garden Hotel

Advantages: beautiful gardens free to visit, good location, very clean and polite staff
Disadvantages: expensive internet

...four that is. Anyway back to the hotel, it is named the grand view gardens because out the back is a huge garden which was infact used for a television show in china! It is free for those who stay in the hotel but if your not staying in there you have to pay. We spent a good couple of hours walking round it all. there is a huge man made lake in the middle with lots of trees and little chinese buildings and ornaments around. There is also a small animal 'zoo' which was quite nice. Peacocks, rabbits, guinea pigs, deers, goats, monkeys etc. It was quite sad though because all the animals were so hungry and the staff sell food to visitors so you can feed them - so we did - and most of it! it was gone in a few seconds. Definalty worth visiting the gardens as they area beautiful, and in the evening there are shows. We didnt stay in the evening...

Bilderberg Garden Hotel I Love You

...After a very unfortunate start to our city break to Amsterdam my friend and I arrived at this hotel. I want to tell you all the shortened version of what actually happened... Our Tour Operator booked us into the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Den Haag instead of the hotel in Schiphol [where the airport is]. Not wanting to miss out on the sights of Amsterdam, and not wanting to travel 60km each way between the sights and the hotel we made our way to Amsterdam. The Garden House WAS a Good Hotel

Advantages: This was a very good hotel in it's day
Disadvantages: Burnt down in 1999

...and efficient. The hotel was also used for social functions, my cousin had her wedding reception at the hotel and our family hired several rooms for visiting relatives to use. I was fortunate enough to see my cousins hotel room and it was amazing, a huge room with a massive four poster bed, beautiful décor, thick carpets and wonderful antique furniture, a real bridal suite! Advantages: Reasonably priced, clean, accom, two pools, free sunbeds, free internet
Disadvantages: A bit quiet for tennagers and certainly not clubs and bars bearby if you like that

Advantages: Great Location, Nice Rooms

Anyway, the other hotels were all full or too expensive for this particular night and I was on the lookout for something central in the same kind of price range. I noticed The Gardens hotel on Piccadilly as I walked passed but it looked a bit grotty so I carried on going. There are many other budget hotels in that area so I popped my head in a couple but with no joy. More than tulips in the Amsterdam Garden

Advantages: Luxury, comfort, and being treated like royalty - plus wonderful food.
Disadvantages: Makes other hotels seem ordinary

A fantastic hotel with a splendid view

...We had the pleasure of being invited to my husband's best friends traditional Swedish wedding in Hjortnas, Sweden which was to take place on the shores of Lake Siljan which is the seventh largest lake in Sweden. As Hjortnas is a small village in the countryside, there was little room for all of the guests to stay with the family, we therefore took the recommendation of the groom and booked this charming four star hotel for two nights last August. *Arrival & check in* It took us two hours to arrive at the hotel from our starting location. In the night garden ninky nonk train set

Advantages: strong, versatile, compact, nice bright colours, fun to play with

...I decided to buy the in the night garden ninky nonk train set from Amazon as my young daughter is a big fan of in the night garden and whenever it comes on TV she gets really excited. So as my daughter already had some of the other characters from the show I wanted her to have the whole set and since buying it the train set the ninky nonk train set has become one of her favourite toys to play with on a daily basis. The train set can come apart and be attached on many different ways and my daughter enjoys looking at the nice bright colours and putting some of the other in the night garden characters onto the train set even though it keeps falling of now and again it keeps her busy and sometimes I hear her in fits of giggles. The train set is very cute and versatile and its great as children such as mine can have hours of fun with it...

We stayed at this hotel for the first 2 weeks in August of 2005 our party consisted of my husband and myself and our 2 daughters aged 15 and 13.
