...The etrex is a base model GPS reciever designed for walkers, cyclists and other outdoor adventurers. I have had mine for 3 years it still works and they're still making the same one so it must be good! The screen is large, monocrome and is backlit although this reduces the life of the two AA batteries quite significantly. This screen is easy to read and you can also adjust the contrast...
