Ambre Solaire No Streaks Bronzer = Brilliant!
Advantages: NO STREAKS!!! + super easy and quick to apply!
Disadvantages: tan is quite light so needs a couple of layers to build a nice colour
...This week I was feeling a little down about my appearance and decided on a fake tan pick me up!
I've used lots of different kind of fake tans before and was going to try fake bake or st tropez this time but with times being hard finance wise I decided on Ambre Solaire £8 for the body one and £6 for the face. I am very pale and so went for the 'light' version.
Before starting I exfoliated and moisturised well, then applied the tan.
I applied as stated on the can, spraying from a distance of 30 cm in regular motions and didn't rub in. It's very easy to apply, it sprays at every angle and took less than 5 minutes to apply.
The scent of the tan is quite pleasant at first and not as chemical smelling as some of the others. Although this does give way to the usual fake tan smell as the night goes on!!
I really didn't feel the need to rub...

Garnier No Streaks Bronzer Look Like David Dickinson Folks!!
Advantages: None
Disadvantages: Lots
..., pale and ill-looking). In a mad dash I raced around my local boots looking for a spray tan. Yes can you believe it a tan in a can. My husband thought that this was hilarious as I tend to shy away from products like this (since my disasterous experience of tanning in Florida- that however is another story which will never be told). I have to say I had no clue what to buy however the power of advertising got the better of me and I opted for Garnier Ambre Solaire Light No Streaks Bronzer Self-Tanning Spray. It said that it would give me a natural light-looking tan from the first application. That was enough for me so I popped it in my basket. In addition i also purchased rubber gloves the latex variety the reason for which will be revealed later.
This item cost £8.99 for a 125ml can. I remember thinking at the time that this was rather...

Garnier Ambre Solaire
Advantages: UVA/UVB Protection, moisturises
Disadvantages: A bit greasy
...people occur in the UK and not abroad on holiday so it is definitely something that needs looking at.
I have been using Garnier Ambre Solaire for quite a while now and there are some things I like about it and others I don't.
It has both UVA and UVB protection which we are told is a great benefit and we should always look for both of these in our sun screen lotion. They both react towards the body differently as so both need to be protected from. UBV rays can cause sunburn and some forms of skin cancer. In the past UVA was considered less harmful, but today it is known, that it can contribute to skin cancer via the indirect DNA damage It penetrates deeply but it does not cause sunburn. Apparently 95% of UV rays are UVA rays, which are believed to be the principal cause for premature ageing as they penetrate deeper into the skin than...

Self-tanning made easy with Ambre Solaire No Streaks
Advantages: Easy to use, dries quickly, nice colour
Disadvantages: Inexperienced users may end up with some slightly darker patches
...I recently bought this after hours spent scouring beauty retailers online, asking a colleague who regularly uses self tanning products and then some more time spent dithering about in stores look at own brands and insanelyt expensive brands. I mainly bought this because it's easy to use, not messy and it was on offer.
I bought the light skin version as I have very very pale skin. I used Garnier Sugar Scrub beforehand to make sure I was suitably exfoliated before application. It was fairly quick and easy to mist myself (at all angles as promised by Garnier!) with the bronzer spray and it doesn't smell bad and is quick to dry.
Within an hour you have developed a lovely glow and after a night's sleep it has now developed to a mediumy/dark (or maybe just what I'd consider dark) tan. Some parts are lighter than others but it's not...

no streaks bronzer - the light version
Advantages: Great to use if you want an even tan without being too bold!
Disadvantages: Skin can feel quite clammy afterwards
...I recently bought the Garnier Ambre Solaire No streaks bronzer - light result version. It contains a natural extract of apricot and vitamin E.
I decided to buy this product over any others as it guarantees a 'light result'. I didnt want to have too much of a golden looking tan as i felt it would have been too much of a noticable difference from one day to the next.
Firstly I exfoliated my skin as this helps the tan to take to the skin to achieve the best results. I then used the spray which is really easy to use especially to reach behind the legs! Once the process was complete I then had to wait for it to dry, this didnt take too long but my skin felt quite clammy for a while.
About half an hour to an hour my skin definately had more colour to it and felt nice and conditioned. I do recommend that you really do wash your...

Best tan on the market by far!!
Advantages: easy to use, excellent colour, lasting, quick drying
Disadvantages: body mist can be patchy on legs
...I'm new to Ciao, and I've spent the last 10 minutes trying to work out how to add pictures to this review. The reason being is that I really wanted to show readers of this review the before and after of this product. However - I think maybe because im a newbie Im not allowed to post pictures (Im not sure if im correct in this!) so I'll try and explain how fantastic this stuff is instead!
So Ambre Solaire No Streaks Bronzer - I have both the dry face mist and the body mist. Both are excellent products. I have an olive complexion so I always go for the Normal to dark skin one, but as someone has mentioned before, being overenthusiastic with the spray does lead to a darker tan, so I guess using the fair to normal one is probably best for first time users!
**DRY FACE MIST**
Now this is really amazing. I've used several types...

Last Night I Faked It..
Advantages: Works for me
Disadvantages: A little pricey try buy if on offer
..., and tan towels and have always been a bit disappointed..till now?
I saw this fake tan spray in Superdrug a while back and it was on offer at £8, which I thought was a bit steep. I had some vouchers for that shop so decided to use them for this spray. Now the bronzer comes in a light and dark colour, so I opted for a subtler shade so I wouldn't look like I'd been tangoed on my first application (I hoped!)
How to use~
The bronzer comes in a easy to use spray format. It has a nozzle at the top which emits a fine mist once pressed. It's all quite a simple procedure- you aim and hold the can about 40cm away and spray lightly and evenly. There is no need to rub in which is good, and the mist is quite fast drying: about 5 minutes in total. This is not designed for the face though so avoid that area (there is a seperate one you can buy just...

Sunkissed & Lovin' it!!
Advantages: The Smell, The tan, Dries in Seconds!
Disadvantages: Smell wears off quickly, Slightly patchy in places
...tree oil.
So I was very happy with the results and even my mum said how fab my skin looked and that this tan was much more naturalk and looked normal!
The smell is nice and not biscuit smell at all but yes it does wear off after minutes but the resault of the tan is great!
The tan itself is bronzed with AMBRE SOLAIRE near the top, No Streaks Bronzer in a dark panel below and a pic on the tin too. It also has the green type cirle leaf underneath the GARNIER part so u know the make your buying!
I definetly recommed this product to ladies but YOU MUST exfoliate your skin before hand or this tan will not work to its advantage!...

Does exactly what it says on the tin!!!!
Advantages: No mess, no orange hands or streaks, nice even and natural colour
Disadvantages: You have to buy separate cans for the face and body, takes a while to develop
...I have had real disasters with self tanning products. Streaks and orange hands are never a good look! No matter how much I exfoliate and moisturise before I apply it I always end up looking patchy.
I noticed a product by Garnier, Ambre Solaire No Streaks Bronzer. "Sounds great" I said to myself - but does it really work???! I noticed it was a body mist, presented in an aerosol type can and I read that there was no need to rub in - that solves the orange hands problem - I was sold instantly!
The packaging doesn't really stand out compared to other tanning products, the can is a browny/orangey colour like so many others but it is a dry body mist and comes in light, for fair skin like mine, or normal for a darker looking tan. I opted for the light shade and purchased two cans - one for the body and one for the face.
Price...
