...The Ravensdene Lodge hotel is located in Gateshead, Tyne and Wear abour 5 minutes from Newcastle and the metro centre. My cousin had her 21st birthday party at this hotel earlier this month. As my dad was setting up a screen to take photos of the guests and as we live about a half hour drive away, we decided we would stay overnight. My dad made the reservation over the phone and as we were attending a function there we got the room at a discounted price. We went to the hotel a couple of weeks before the party to see where my dad would be able to set up for the photos. The manager told us that we would be able to use the conservatory as it wasn?t booked out. He said the only thing that would prevent us using this room was if someone booked a funeral. ...Since turning 20 I've been getting a bit sick of the old 'short back & sides.' I thought I'd try a more upper market salon than a barbour shop. There's a few of both in the metrocentre, the shopping mall in Gateshead, Tyneside. I was just after an improvement but not sure what. I'd a recommendation of Toni & Guy. I looked around the metrocentre on a quiet Tuesday morning to check out all salons, not just T&G. The others had groups of staff, who weren't cutting hair, crowding round a seat. This always puts me off any kind of shop. However the few members of staff in T&G were cutting hair, with one sitting behind the desk looking busy. It is about 1 mile from work and about 4 miles from home, but a night away from the children with just my hubby is not something I would ever turn my nose up at. LOCATION The hotel is located just off the A1 in Gateshead and is easy to access. It is at the edge of a trading estate, 5 minutes drive from Newcastle City Centre, and 3 junctions on the A1 from The Metrocentre. ...Gateshead - Team Valley Branch I have used many repair and MOT centres over the years and I can honestly say this was the best experience I have ever had. At the last minute I needed an MOT and when no one else could accommodate me the team at Nationwide made that extra effort to fit me in. The whole experience was quite different to other companies. The staff were really friendly and helpful, they explained everything fully and kept me informed as work progressed. Sitting in their waiting area was a pleasure, not the usual cold filthy waiting room - it was spotlessly clean, warm and pleasant. If Dave (who I think was the manager) reads this he should feel proud, this is the type of service where you go out of your way to tell your friends....

Sitting in the corner covered in muck was a Breeze blue Corsa. The state of the car did not bother me, as I knew it would clean up nice because after all it was only 6-7 months old.
