Gator! A help in remembering your passwords!

Advantages: Gator is useful to fill in web forms, it is accessible when it recognizes a login site.Good support, downloading is easy and it is free.
Disadvantages: Oh I hate it when the coupons comes up! If only they cater for the British field, we be rich by now!

When I first read about him I was impressed, because I could never remember all my passwords, according to the company he’s complete secure, and any information is encrypted and stored in your computer and never shared with anyone else. Do you GATOR

Advantages: Great Tech support, user friendly, encrypts all info safely, password protected, Gator is only there when you need him.
Disadvantages: Embedded advertisers, definately not cool.

An unhappy time with Gator

Advantages: Short download time.
Disadvantages: USA edge. Messed up my IE5 set-up, halted my ability to use Web

...I recently downloaded Gator as I had heard about the software and thought "yeah I could do with that". However I begin to wish I hadn't. I am quite a skilled PC user and never really have had any major problems with software, and downloading etc. The first download failed to complete, it was peak time(8pm in evening) so I gave up and tried another day. This time it came through Ok and installed fine. So I went on, registered and set-up the software and so on. I didn't like the US bias, in the fact that it only accepts the US style format of phone number, and also another gripe was that I couldn't enter my Switch card details (which is my chosen method of payment for my cd's online!!) Gator saves time

...I was basically forced to download Gator from a website which seemed to only let me join if I did download Gator, obviously some kind of pact between the two companies then, but, although it bothered me at the time, not now! For those of you who are unfamiliar to what Gator is, it is a small program which will store your passwords from all the websites you regularly visit. It also stores your personal details such as your full name, your address, your phone number, fax number, email, and if you trust it enough, your credit card number. What is good about this software is that it stores any information you type into it, on your hard drive, and so is stored locally. Disadvantages: If you're not into Punk or Skateboarding then this documentary may begin to grate on you

...Gator is the most useful web service available and best of all it is free. It is the sort of program that you would expect to have to pay something for but it is fully supported by advertising. The coolest part of the program is its ability to remember all of your passwords. Instead of relying on Internet Explorer to save all these, gator is a more useful tool as it will fill in your address instantly on certain websites making it a very useful tool indeed. My only qualm is the fact that gator has been known to conflict with certain versions of Internet Explorer and can therefore cause itself to crash which means either restarting the computer or remembering the passwords yourself. Big Bad Gator

Advantages: Can be handy if you only log into very few sites on a regular basis.
Disadvantages: Can get very annoying in the long run.
