...Normally bands with good names are rubbish, not so the Gaza Strippers, they play high octane punk rock and roll and after this mornings encounter with pretentious art rock Just what the doctor ordered I think......... As the album kicks off we are treated to "Almost Instant Karma", the guitars chug their way into your consciousness with their attack, there is little that is subtle about the Gaza Strippers and that is a good thing, this is just great fantastic Rock and a Roll. They then do something horrible cover a Queen song "Sheer Heart Attack" I prided my self on not having a Queen record in my collection as I hate Brian "I am such a twonk I married my doppelganger" May, but to my disgust it is bloody good again high octane frenzied punk rock and a roll. ...that much aggrevation? How on earth they could stretch out a conflict costing human lives is beyond me. Women and children were being slaughtered on a daily basis in huge numbers, and the most powerful country in the world did nothing. It impacts all of us, most of the reasons for our young kids in turning to extremism is because of foreign policy, and the situation in gaza is the main issue.
