I bought the iPod touch for my son for his 10th birthday. Before he alerted me to the item I knew nothing at all about it. Having played around with it for a few hours, I can now see what all the fuss is about as this item is so addictive. The touch comes in 3 guises, namely 8Gb, 16Gb and 32Gb versions. These are all identical apart from, obviously the storage capacity.

Advantages: LARGE MEMORY, SOUND OUTPUT AND LONG BATTERY LIFE. Disadvantages: : FRAGILE IN LOOKS.

The I pod touch is capable of storing large capacity of information well what actually do you think of a device that that has 8gb memory space. Like I wrote above, it is capable of 1500 to 1700 songs and on the other hand, capable of storing 10,000 pictures and also capable of playing video for the duration of 10 hours.
In terms of videos, you can equally upload videos just like in music. You can upload movie but the issue with it is that the more you videos you put, the less you space
In the music section, we have many categories like the album, artist, song title and genre these are the categories that make it very possible for you to make easy selections of your music.

As my boyfriend's birthday approached, I was panicking as to what to get him as men are a nightmare to shop for and I really wanted to get something exciting. I noticed that he kept borrowing my ipod nano and initially planned to get him one of his own but on the Apple website I saw the ipod touch and worked out that if I got him that then I could steal it and use it!
From the Apple website, the 8GB iPod Touch cost me £199 with free postage and packing and a free optional engraving. I thought this was a reasonable price it was nice and simple to order it online. ...This Ipod is extremely nice looking and easy to use, just as the iphone it has the touch screen interface. Only it lacks the phone, camera and GPS. I've had it for about 4 months now and absolutely love it, it has never failed or had any problems, also it has survived some falls with no scratches at all (the "delicate" looking glass screen can survive alomost any scratch without getting any marks), though i use a protective case which i also recommend you buy if your gonna have this baby. Extra feauters include WiFi internet, Youtube, Contacts, Agenda, Calendar, Alarms besides the Music and Video playing capabilities...

...Since getting my Ipod touch for christmas i have been obsessed. I love how i can easily access the internet and download apllications almost anywhere where there is an available internet connection. The screen is clear and the sound is crisp although the speaker could do with being slightly louder. I had slight trouble in the first week of getting my ipod as it crashed and i ws unable to use it for a few days until i found out on the Apple website how to reset and restore it which resulted in all my songs and apps that were already on it being deleted. Thankfully it was a quick process to get them all back on again. One disadvange is a lot of memory is taken up under the section know as 'other' on itunes, in my case it is around 1Gb and i stil lhave no idea what it is using all that memory, i would not mind if the capacity was larger but...

...One things for sure Ipods are getting more popular by the day as more features and different designs are being introduced to these almost everyday necessities. I purchased the 8gb version 3 months or so back and ive been really please with it. It stands out from the rest as it has a large screen for viewing videos and photo's, but not only that it has the built in touch sensitive display which is very easy to use and im sure very popular. It has also introduced the new wii-fi so that you can connect to a wireless connection whether it be from the comfort of your home or in a coffee shop etc. when you go to i-tunes ur music and files can be transferred to your ipod within seconds though videos take a bit longer. All in all id say this product is worth investing in if you have a spare £180....

...the apple ipod touch 32GB is the best value for money in my eyes when it comes to versitility, durability and capacity although the capacity is put to shame by that of the ipod video which has about 100GB it is still plenty of space for all your application, music and video needs.

the ipod touch contains an itunes app store with over 10,000 application to do anything form straightening a picture to practising guitar in cramped conditions, but if your not into those it also has thousands more practical apps such as a mobile internet browser and a scientific calculator.
durability:
I personaly have an ipod touch and form the time i got it i must have dropped it at least 20 times on concrete and stone floors until I finally made the clever descision to just buy a case but before that i found that the ipod touch can take...

...I own this product and so can talk with experience behind me. I believe that if you can't afford and iPhone, you should buy an iPod Touch 32gb, because it has many of the same features.
It includes:

* Clock, Calculator and Notes
The touchscreen interface is pretty much flawless and I very much enjoy playing around with iPod simply to enjoy the ease and technologically advanced touch. The screen is quite large at about 3.5 inches across and the accelerometer is an ingenious piece of engineering enabling you to see movies and photos in a widescreen. However typing is quite hard and needs some getting used to.

...Ive had the ipod touch 8gb since christmas and i got it for £200 and i think that it was worth every penny but now the price has dropped slightly to £179.99 which makes this product even better ive had 3 ipods before (nano 1st,2nd and shuffle) and this is the best by far!!! it has a great 3.5" touch screen and the 8gb internal memory is more than enough to store your favorite music and a few music videos or a couple of movies but if you want a mp3 player to watch movies the ipod touch is the product for you but i would go for the 16gb model as 8gb realy isnt big enough for movies and your favorite music. i would highly reccomend this product to anyone who is lookin for a new mp3/mp4 player . i think this ipod is so good that what ever mp3 you own im sure you would realy enjoy the ipod touches features and great look. and the battery life...
