...The Office has to be one of the funniest sitcoms of recent times. Any one who has ever worked in an office environment can relate I think to the situations the actors find themselves in and probably have a similar story of their own as well. I think this is one of the reasons why it is so funny and became so successful. The Office I think was different because it approached the sitcom genre in an interesting way by having the format of a documentary. The office in question was that of Wernham Hogg Paper Company based in Slough, Berkshire. They had a camera crew in the office that basically filmed their every day lives in the office and all the drama and relationships that come with that. Complete Overhaul of the Office Suite

...General Opinion As an IT Trainer I have used and taught the Microsoft Office suite for 9 years and this is the most exciting change to hit our PCs in years. It is not just an upgrade on an old idea but a complete overhaul of the system. Gone are the old menus and toolbars and in their place is a new feature called the Ribbon. Where once you could turn toolbars on and off accidentally never to be seen again this version allows its users to play around with all the features without the fear of losing any functionality. For new users it is more intuative with the features being grouped together and being more visual. Advantages: IT'S COOL LOOKING
Disadvantages: YOU HAVE A DEADLINE TO MEET?.....DON'T USE!!

...a better result? gee!! not for me at least because, what i feel working with the product is CLUMSINESS, i practically have to look for almost every thing(buttons) to carry out some functions ( THANK GOD FOR SOME SHORT CUTS). One good thing that was done on it anyways, is the fact that you are presented with different "Save AS" options. But take my advice, if you have to work with MS office professional 2007, be sure you save your documents with the "97 - 2003" option because God help you if you are sending that finished document to someone like myself who has decided to stick with MS office 2003 ( atmost 2005) and believe it or not there are quite a number out there. My opinion - Microsoft Office Professional 2007 is cool, but i LOVE my reliable and dependable and easy to USE MS office professional 2003....

Shoes, and not just for the Office!

Advantages: lots of variety, designer, friendly staff, on the main street

...A few years ago one of the closed-down shops on Union Street, Aberdeen, was revamped and turned into an Office shop. Despite what the name suggests, you will not find stationary and electricals here! No, this sells something completely different - shoes! This is one amazing shoe shop, I'm thrilled we have one now! The shop is situated in between two clothes shops so it is hardly ever empty and perfect for when you are in need for some intense shopping! The downside to this though is the fact that these other shops also sell a selection of shoes at a cheaper price. Office always seems to be doing fine though. When you walk in the door, the till is directly in front of you. You will notice rows upon rows of womens' shoes on the shelves and displays around you. Advantages: Unique, Funny, Culturally Sound, Entertaining, Good Story

...The Office is a sitcom done is faux-documentary style, as a camera crew follow the life of the manager of a small-time paper merchants based in the fairly unglamorous setting of Slough, England. It might not sound like the most intriguing, exciting or thrilling piece of TV, but it is a credit to the genius of it's creators Stephen Merchant, who appeared in a brief cameo role in one episode and Ricky Gervais who plays the starring role as the main character and the man who the 'documentary' is based around. ...Well I have been eyeing this DVD up for some time but never bought it as hubby tells me I have seen it as I watched it with him but for the life I me I cannot remember ever seeing it. Last night I decided we would watch it as I really liked the look of it, the added bonus being that Richard Gere is in it! The film is about Zack Mayo who has had a rough childhood, his mother killed herself and he went to live with his Dad who is a Navy man so he spent his life moving around from port to port. He finally decides that he is going to try the Navy Officers recruitment course. Zack is accepted on the course and has to give 13 weeks of training which includes some daunting and gruelling tasks. ...I would just like to write a review on the Officers Club, a shop that I don't care for very much as we shall soon see. You may disagree with me which is fine, but please do listen up. On arriving in the store, I am greeted by a mass of men's clothing from suits and casual wear (or jeans and t-shirts) down to the basics such as underwear and accessories. As my local store in Plymouth is not a very big one in terms of space, everything is crammed in - and is even bursting out of the doors, so much so that as you walk along the pavement you have to fight your way past rows of clothes. In my own opinion, if you are going to showcase a large amount of stock then surely you should have the space in which to do it. If you only have a small space in which to work, then work accordingly with this. Don't put out all that you sell, but perhaps...
