...I have been using Boots No.7 soft and soothed gentle cleanser for a while and always been happy with it, but a few weeks back I got a voucher for £5 off the No.7 range, and being someone who loves to try every product going, I bought the No.7 foaming face wash for a change. ~Packaging~ As you can see from the picture, this comes in a very plain looking blue tube. Although most of the No.7 range, comes in quite plain packaging it is also usually quite stylish - this particular product I feel, lets the rest of the range down. The tube, which stands on its head, looks, to be quite honest, cheap - and although I used a voucher and got a fiver off, if I was paying the full price I would want something a bit better looking for my bathroom shelf! Advantages: Gently exfoliates

...and random shops VERDICT I used the mask as directed and found that I did like it. The smell is fresh and fruity, and the tiny particles felt as though they were exfoliating my skin without being at all abrasive. When I washed off the mask, fortunately, my face didn't look all red, but it did look and feel very clean. The small sachet lasted me 4 uses, so it is excellent value. There is no information about how much to use but I felt as though I was using the correct amount, and there was certainly too much for it to be only one use. There is a warning about testing the product on your arm before in case of allergies, but I saw this after I had used it, and thankfully I got no reactions A gentle exfoliating mask which I would recommend to anyone liking to just lie in the bath with a mask on their face. ...I selected this product mostly because of the word 'gentle' in the title - I have sensitive skin and have always been wary of using hair removal creams anywhere but my legs. However wanting to finally attack my bikini line I resorted to a cream. I clipped the area first so it didn't have incredibly long hair to deal with and applied it for the five minutes recommended on the packet. It does warn you that if you experience any irritation you should wash it off, but if I did that every skincare product I use would get washed off immediately, and I know that a lot of my friends with sensitive skin cheat on this point, knowing they can use most things and experience mild irritation without damage. In this case: DON'T. After five minutes when I washed the cream off it seemed like my pores were bleeding - blood was just seeping from the skin... Read review

...This face wash contains natural active ingredients and purifying micro-particles and zinc. It is antibacterial and eliminates impurities and sebum by the gentle exfoliating action of the cleansing micro-particles. It also contains zinc, known for its regulating action. That is what is says on the packaging. However, I noticed that its exfoliating action is not very gentle at all, in fact, even if you gently rub the face-wash a little too much it actually made my skin a little red and sore. It does, get rid of excess sebum though and the day afterwards my skin was less shiny than it had previously been, also showing that the zinc's regulating action had worked. ...'m a sucker for anything pretty, and Soft and Gentle stands out on the shelf as being the girliest deodorant available - in pretty pastel colours, with fragrance names such as "soft jasmine" and "after hours", it conjures up images of romantic liasons with unspeakably gorgeous men... Unfortunately, liasons with unspeakably gorgeous men are unlikely to happen if one smells of sweaty toilet disinfectant, and has huge wet patches on one's fabulous clothing. So, while Soft and Gentle is well packaged, with bearable scents, it doesn't work, and, let's face it, even wonderful scents mixed with sweat will always smell like sweaty toilet cleaner. ...I am a great fan of Boots no7, but until a few months ago had never tried their gentle foaming face wash. I decided to give it a go simply because I had A £5 No7 skin care voucher to use and couldn't find anything else I needed. The face wash comes in a blue plastic tube. It is nothing fancy to look at and if I hadn't had a voucher I would probably have overlooked it. The face wash itself has a strange jelly like consistency that I at first found intriguing The instructions for use are printed on the back of the tube. To apply squeeze a walnut sized amount into your hands and add water to create lather. It really does feel and react like soap although this product is in face soap free. I much prefer using face washes to cleansing creams on my face as I feel I am actually cleaning my face as opposed to putting grease into my pores... Read review

...the exact amount, as when you squeeze the bottle and then release it, any excess is drawn back in to the tube. The lotion itself is bright white and has a very thin, creamy consistency. As with all Clinique products it is fragrance free, though it does keep any natural smells of the ingredients. It smells just like baby lotion which is neither offensive nor intrusive and it is just a gentle smell on the senses. The product has been ophthalmologically tested, meaning that the eye doctors approve! As your eyes are such a sensitive part of your face you need to know that the products you use will not react to your skin. It has also been allergy tested. ...'. This product is very easy to apply; I use it sparingly by applying with a brush. I find it gives an even coverage and disguises my pores which are quite visible around my cheeks. It gives a nice glow to the face which doesn't alter when the sun catches your face or if you're in a poorly lit area. I also found that it helped cover the areas of my skin which were prone to get oily (my t-zone). The packaging states that the lightweight formula manipulates light to chase away flaws, perfecting skin. I certainly found it improves the look of my skin, giving it a beautiful look and soft feel. ...I just can't figure out the reason why Superdrug just don't give me shares in the place.The amount of my hard earned dosh that I spend in those pretty shiny aisles..filled with oh so lovely beautifying products... This weeks challenge was to find a facial scrub that doesnt remove my epidermis and shard back to my bones.I have very delicate,sensitive skin,due to the fact that I have eczema.So I have to be careful with what I plaster onto my delicate little moosh. Having Eczema,my skin on my face is really quite dry.And at this time of year, central heating and the cold does it no favours what so ever.It becomes so tight that I wonder sometimes if I dare show expression.
