...Alberto Balsam have added a new shampoo to their Herbal range called tea tree tingle and it is the best yet. The shampoo has both tea tree (renowned for its antiseptic properties) and mint extracts. It is for all hair types and helps promote healthy hair and scalp. I was a little worried when I first bought this shampoo as I thought it might smell too much of mint, but I needn't have worried the smell is wonderful. I use it everyday and it leaves my hair clean and shiney and easy to manage. The shampoo comes in 400 ml bottles and cost around £1, which is great value for money. There is a conditioner to accompany the shampoo but I have never used it as I rarely use conditioner. The bottle says that this shampoo will gently cleanse, restore shine and help promote healthy hair and scalp and the shampoo lives up to those claims.... Read review

...I originally bought this shampoo coz 1. it smelled nice 2. it was suitable for my hair type. The shampoo has a really intense, strong minty smell which was really invigorating and refreshing. I found that this was a good shampoo for a morning shower as it was very awakening. This shampoo was also very invograting on the scalp with a gentle minty tingle which I found extremely pleasent. Although the shampoo had a very nice fragrance and made my scalp feel good it also made my hair feel pretty soft and clean and tangle free. The overall condition and gloss of my hair was not really effected by this shampoo. As it is the body shop you can be sure it has not been tested on animals or produced via slave labour.... ...If you have short hair, this shampoo is ideal. Using conditioner on short hair can leave it feeling flat and a bit heavy. Johnson's Baby Shampoo is gentle yet cleansing, and leaves your hair feeling clean and soft, and eliminates the need to condition afterwards. The gentleness of the shampoo also means that it is great if you like/need to wash your hair everyday. With longer hair, I have found that it makes me a beacon for static electricity! But maybe that's just me?! It's not incredibly expensive, and a large bottle seems to last forever. The shampoo itself does not seem to lather very well, but then you don't always need a lather to get clean hair! It all depends on the quality of the shampoo. Personally, I am not particularly keen on smell but I think this is going to fall under the category of personal preference anyway... Read review

...I ACTUALLY PURCHASED THIS SHAMPOO DOWN TO A MEDICAL CONDITION THAT MY SON HAS. HE SUFFERS VERY BADLY FRON ECZEMA WHICH IS A COMMON SKIN DISORDER. HE ACTUALLY HAD VERY DRY ,IRRITATING SCALEY SCALP. I HAD TRIED LOTS OF DIFFERENT BRANDS OF SHAMPOO, BUT MOST MADE THE PROBLEM WORSE. I WAS RECOMMENDED HERBAL ESSENCES BY A LADY IN THE CHEMIST, AS SHE SAID IT WAS VERY GENTLE AND THIS PARTICULAR ONE WAS SUITABLE FOR DRY SKIN. I THOUGHT I WOULD GIVE IT A GO AND I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THE RESULTS. MY SON FOUND IT LESS IRRITATING AND THE DRY SCALP GRADUALLY DISAPPEARED. IT ALSO SMELLS VERY NICE UNLIKE MEDICAL SHAMPOO. ...definetly recommend that you try some.This exact shampoo can only be bought in the standard size shown in the photograph but is a handy size as its not to small nor to big!. HOW GENTLE IS IT ON YOUR SKIN???? The shampoo itself is very kind to anybody scalp and can be used on qquite damaged scalps without irritation to your scalp.It has proved to be a very gentle shampoo due to it hs no special colourents or to make it smell or look flashy (I GUESS) HOW DOES IT LOOK.... The shampoo makes your hair look and feel as shiny and refreshed as most other shampoos but dosent have a long lasting noticable aroma which is why most people stay clear of this shampoo. This opinion will be finished at a later fate as it is very exspenisve to use the computer in my local newsagents.... Read review

...Aveda this is a lovely shampoo.I first brought the rang from QVC and since then I have had it sent to me from America and got it in Florida and transported home, it is worth it.The Blue Malva is for Blonde hair but my whole family use it.It makes my hair feel nice and gives it a glow no other shampoo does.It does enhance your natural colour, though hard to believe it does.Your hair will smell fresh and the use of conditioners is not really needed as your hair is not stripped of natural oils. I have highlighted my hair and this shampoo is so gentle it still gives me bounce and control. You may think it a tad expensive but it lasts and you will get more washes than other shampoo's that are cheaper.... Read review
