Stay in Ancient Wells

Advantages: Amazing period features, friendly staff, great food, four-poster bed
Disadvantages: Could be expensive, not much parking, small beds

...A few weeks ago we were lucky enough to have a wedding to go to in Wells, Somerset. I'd never been to Wells before and I was impressed with what a lovely place it was. Not only does it boast a beautiful cathedral, it also has a very impressive bishop's keep surrounded by a mote. Prices and Booking As the wedding was quite early in the morning we decided to go down the night before and stay in a hotel or a B&B so that we'd have time enough in the morning to get up and get ready. So we looked on the internet and it turned out that everything was pretty expensive. We tried looking up a hotel that was right next to the cathedral just to see what kind of prices it charged and it seemed as though it was going to cost us over £100 per night. Advantages: Some superb tracks with very thought-provoking lyrics

...carefully I can?t really find anything wrong with it. There must be something however because this just isn?t a track that I go back to. The track itself is an easy-listening one and the vocals are strong and consistent throughout. They do however sound less polished at the higher pitched notes in the track. 7/10 Track 8 ? ...Introduction = He goes on and on and on and on. Is this torture never going to end? He has to sleep at some point but he is just going to start again when he wakes up. I was hoping that he would just forget about this but I don't think he is. This is a great blush for everyday use because it is a subtle colour, giving a hint of pink to the cheeks, so it can compliment most make up styles. ?Well Dressed? is a pale pink, if you swipe your finger over the pressed powder then you get a small covering on pink, which is great because it means this is not at all overpowering on the cheeks. In fact I think it is practically impossible to mess the application of this blush up! This is a slight shimmer blush, when you move it in the light you can see some specs of sparkle, I?m hesitant to call it glitter because it is too fine, however it is important to note that this gives the blusher a slight light catching ability when being worn. Getting Hot & Dirty In The Valley

Temperatures soared from 102- 110 degrees round this area during the day and the heat stayed with us in the evening too as we explored some of the Furness Creek attractions, but more about them in my next review. Advice for travellers in the area is to make sure you fill up regularly with gas, as you really don't want to end up stranded. It is a little bit more expensive in these areas but don't take chances. Also, make sure you are well stocked with water and snacks, especially salty ones, as it's very easy to get dehydrated very quickly even if you are only strolling along gently outside. Expect to sweat buckets - I know it's not a very nice thing to think about but even with excellent anti-perspirants, we had wet patches...

Get Smart - Much Better Than Expected!

Advantages: Very funny in parts - Steve Carrell

...smile and there were alot of laughs (most of which came in the first half of the film I thought). The stunts are well executed and I particularly enjoyed the one where some agents escape from a tall building only to be a few inches from the ground; Max hasn't realised this and is still panicking about how to get down! There is also quite a good stunt involving a train. There are a few nods to Bond here and there as you might expect, including a really big bad guy, which also adds to the fun. I have heard some people compare it to Johnny English and I can see where they are coming from. The music is edgy and spy like in a Mission Impossible kind of way, but again in a kind of spoof like manner. Perhaps if it had been cut down by a good half an hour it would have been a bit zippier, but as it limps along, it really does grow more and more tiresome. Get Smart's cinematography is also weirdly unsuitably; swinging from high budget Hollywood gloss to shaky hand-held visuals in the blink of an eye - making for an, at times, disorientating experience. Other than the bizarre camera work Get Smart is a very stylish affair, with great set-pieces, impressive stunts and nice costume design. One sequence in an elaborate dance hall is particularly visually exciting and adds a lot of sparkle to the proceedings.
