GHD's- a girls best friend!

Advantages: Great colour! Actually straighten the curliest of hair

...I'm a girl with seriously curly hair, and I mean seriously curly! The term taming always seems to be used when describing what should be done with my hair. No matter what products I tried to use they didn't seem to work- wither making my hair greasy and lank or doing absolutely nothing at all. Then about three years ago all my friends started getting GHD's, what the manufacturers term "a new religion for hair" and indeed it is. However, they were retailing at around £119 a pair three years ago, and these were just way out of my price range, being but a mere 6th form girl! I tried buying other straighteners but these did not seem to give the same impressive results as the GHD's did to my friends. Then last September my boyfriend came to the rescue and bought me a lovely little pair of pink GHD's. They were ordered off the GHD website...

There are a range of different types of GHD straightners for different styles, both for girls and boys. They Take only a short 20 seconds to heat up to a maximum temperature of 210 degrees, they also have a little red led which lets you know exactly when there done once its stopped flashing. Meaning you only have to go over one section of your hair once unlike many other straightners on the market. Straightening can be annoying when the cord keeps getting caught or tangled, but it?s not going too happen with the 360 degree swivel cord GHDs have. This makes it easier to move around your head...

Check Out My Pink GHD's!!

Advantages: Heat Up Quickly, Easy To Use, Straighten Hair Quickly

...About four months ago my trusty GHD's stopped working. Having had them for about 3 years I could not use any other straightners only GHD's would do! I set about looking for a new set and instantly fell in love with these pink ones (I have pink everything!), I bought them for £90.00 on ebay and they came with a heat resistant mat and GHD bag to store them in. When they arrived I was very pleased with them, they were much nicer than my boring old black ones! Like my old ones they heat up in just 7 seconds, but these have an alarm on them to tell you when they are ready, you get a 'beep' when you plug them in and then another 7 seconds later telling you they are ready to go. In use they are just as good as my old ones and far better than any other straigtners I have ever used. They seem to glide through your hair effortlessly...

ghd heaven

...GHD's which stands for good hair days are a company who first specialised in making ceramic hair straightners and have now branched into making hair products such as shampoos, sprays and treatments to accompany their hair straightners. Id previously owned a pair of ceramic hairstraightners and they did an ok job. Id always wanted a pair of ghd's as my friends raved about them and my hairdresser always used them on my hair, but thought I couldn't justify the price tag. However my boyfriend heard me raving about them and got me pair for christmas....lucky me. I tried them out and they are amazing. I own the salon styler which has wider plates and is more effective if you have longer thicker hair like me. They also do a thin plate one for short hair and now a hair straightner for men aswell called the mini styler ~design...

GHD hot pink kiss hair stylers.. well worth every kiss!!

Advantages: styles your hair in so many ways.. curles, straight, waves and so much more
Disadvantages: are more expensive than other hair stylers

...GHD hair straightners are something i really could not live without. I have got the Limited edition IV Kiss ones and although the price is what seems redicuoulsly high at £135 they are worth every penny! I`ve had so many hair straightners in the past, cheep ones because i didnt want to spend that amount, i am now glad i did at last splash out on these!! They come in a box, roughly the size of a shoe box, in one side is the GHD stylers and on the side that lifts open there is a packet of 3 GHD lipglosses in a small little box which are also fabulous. There is an instruction manual and a book containing a list of all the other products available by the GHD company. The great thing I love about GHDs is that they come with a dvd of how to create different styles!! Although these are called hair "straightners" they are...

GHD - In Pink a must

...Well when i saw these in pink i just had to have them, but are they any good? I have bought and used other brands of haior straightners before but with little success. I paid £90 for these limited edition GHD straightners and boy are they worth every penny. I dont have the most curly hair in the world but i now have quite possibly the straightest. When the box arrived i couldnt wait to give them a go. The straightners came with a trial size shampoo and conditioner, something i am always a bit worried about as my sinical side always thinks that its just a advert to sell you something overpriced that doesnt really make a difference. Anyway i tried the shampoo and consitioner out and having really sensative skin was really surprised how shiny and full of body it was. Now for the straightners. They have solid ceramic plates and heat...

GHD, makes a bad hair day a good hair day

...These straighteners are the best hair straighteners I have ever used, they heat up in about 10 seconds, beep when they're ready to use and then if you forget to turn them off they switch themselves off which is great if you're like me and have often come home to find my bed covers completely singed. They're very hot which although on the one hand is good because they work really well for every type of hairstyle you can ever want to do, straighten, curl, volumise etc. However, if you don't use a comb when straightening your hair you can quite often burn your fingers on your hair. GHD really do offer quality products as a general rule and I would never use any other straighteners. This is my 3rd pair of GHD's so really I have no complaints, however, my hot pink straighteners have had to be sent back to GHD on 2 different occasions...

GHD Heaven

Advantages: Quick, straight hair styling tool
Disadvantages: Can be expensive to buy for teenagers who want them

...Wow! I had a £50 pair of straightners that i thought were good........that was until i got GHD's. It takes no time at all to straighten my thick hair, and it stays beautifully straight all day without frizz! If your going to buy anything...you should get these...they are worth every penny The new ones are best to get because i've left them on by accident and i'm sure others have aswell...the new ones turn themselves off after 30 mins being sat still. I have no doubt that you'll buy these and be really happy with your purchase. They have given me a 10 min longer lie in because i can straighten my hair so quickly. They would be a greatly appreciated present aswell BUY THEM NOW!!!...
