GHD Mk4 Straighteners are the best on the market!

Advantages: Heats quickly to high temperatures, ceramic technology
Disadvantages: Can only buy online or in hairdressers, needs to be kept away from young children

...I received GHD Mk4 Straighteners as a gift for my birthday about 8 months ago, and I have to say these are one of the best hair straighteners on the market today. You can only however buy them from hairdressers, or online. It came with thermal protector, and creation spray. The thermal protector helps prevent any permanent damage the exceeding heat the straighteners give off and the creation spray helps you create different styles for your hair. Of course I'm not going to be able to fully determine whether the heat protection actually works, but I can say the creation spray didn't really give me any benefit. It all depends which sprays you choose to accompany the straighteners, if you are interested in getting a package. I also found them both to be too oily, and the smell wasn't too appealing either. GHD MK4 Straighteners

Advantages: easy to use, maintains heat, great for all hair types, durable, handy size for travelling
Disadvantages: mite be bit costly for the younger customers, but defenately a great value for money

...In my own opinion I have never come across a pair of hair straighteners that perform so well. Mine lasted me about two years before I had an acccident with them. I think without my little accident I would of had many more years of use from them. Fast heat up an poker straight results everytime. You can aslo create curls with a pair of these hair straighteners an amazing two products in one. Very easy to use and come with a two year warranty. If they break down due to a manufacture fault just send them back with a pop and they will be fixed or if they can not be fixed they will be replaced for a brand new pair. Overall a very good investment would strongly recomend that every girl should have a pair of these....

Amazing straighteners! Absolutely GHD!

Advantages: Smooth hair, long lasting, intelligent straighteners
Disadvantages: If used without products can leave hair smelling burnt and unhealthy

...I bought these straighteners after my set of mk3 GHD's broke. I felt the improvements made to the mk4 GHD's would make a significant difference and was proved right. I have quite thick hair and found that cheaper straighteners were not getting hot enough to give my hair a smooth, silky finish. In this sense, GHD's were a vast improvement. When I do not use straightening products with my GHD's, I find my hair is left with a burning smell and feels unhealthy. I have found Lee Stafford's pink range of products perfect for this issue. Although my hair is quite thick, I have found it takes a maximum of 10 minutes to completely straighten my hair and it lasts. GHD hot pink kiss hair stylers.. well worth every kiss!!

Advantages: styles your hair in so many ways.. curles, straight, waves and so much more

...fantastic at curling your hair, it has taken me a long time to get the hang of doing this as typically the girl in the dvd makes it look so easy, and I have to say its only easy after hundreds of times practising. They create the volume look, waves and flicks, you can actually use these to create so many looks. I will try and explain a bit of how to style your hair with GHD hair straightners although bear with me on this one as its not easy to explain without showing you let alone explaining it on here... Whatever style you decide to have you will need to seperate you hair into sections, I find this is easier to put my hair into bunches and do half at a time. ...What can i say absolutley superb i went for years with very thick wavy frizzy and dull looking hair i was like a hair bear !!! It wasn't until i had tried every straightener on the market to no avail that i finally splashed out on a pair of ghd straighteners (£90) i know i know i was nuts but believe me i have never looked back they turned my hair from frizzy and dull to sleek and shiny in under 15 minutes !!! i was shocked but absolutley delighted i no longer looked like i had got out of bed and gone out without brushing my hair ! i spent the next couple of days de -frizzing all of my friends . who all now own there own pair i have now owned these for 3 years and they are still in immaculate condition . GHD's- a girls best friend!

...I'm a girl with seriously curly hair, and I mean seriously curly! The term taming always seems to be used when describing what should be done with my hair. No matter what products I tried to use they didn't seem to work- wither making my hair greasy and lank or doing absolutely nothing at all. Then about three years ago all my friends started getting GHD's, what the manufacturers term "a new religion for hair" and indeed it is. However, they were retailing at around £119 a pair three years ago, and these were just way out of my price range, being but a mere 6th form girl! I tried buying other straighteners but these did not seem to give the same impressive results as the GHD's did to my friends.
