...explain what curly hair does when you blow dry it. It goes HUGE, and I mean literally huge. Because you have used the flat paddle brush no curls remain, just a mass of undistinguishable frizz upon your head. Admittedly my hair was very well conditioned frizz, but frizz none the less. I finished drying my hair- but had forgotten to actually plug the straighteners in. This made no difference as they heat up in under twenty second- when the little red LED has stopped flashing they are ready to use. The irons themselves are solid ceramic, not ceramic plated like many of the others on the high street. This means an evenly hot distribution of heat through out the plates. ...Well when i saw these in pink i just had to have them, but are they any good? I have bought and used other brands of haior straightners before but with little success. I paid £90 for these limited edition GHD straightners and boy are they worth every penny. I dont have the most curly hair in the world but i now have quite possibly the straightest. ...about them if they say they use GHD's then everyone will want to go out and get a pair. The irons come in a number of different sizes, GHD IV Styler, GHD IV Salon Styler, and GHD IV Mini Styler. I've got quite long, thick hair so I decided to recently buy the GHD Salon Styler because this one has the largest heating plates and so I can get a lot of hair in each section through the irons. The heating plates are different from that of ordinary straighteners because they are made from a ceramic material meaning they are gold coloured instead of the usual silver colour. The ceramic, unlike regular metal plates is said to reduce frizz and damaging impact on the hair. ...When I bought my Ghd hair straighteners I bought them as part of a kit along with a heat mat and some other hair related things! One of the things in the set was the Ghd Paddle Hair Brush. The paddle brush is quite large. It has a rectangular head which is about 20cm in length and about 12cm wide. Along the head of the brush is rows of plastic bristles, which is what brushes through your hair to detangle it. Each bristle has a little tiny plastic ball on it, which stops your head getting scratched from the plastic bristles. I have noticed that after lots of use, that some of these little plastic balls have actually fallen off, but not that many that I notice when I am brushing my hair. ...Excellent Straightener, heats up very quickly, no waiting. Has an on off switch on the handle so that you can wait until the last minute to switch on and heat up. It also signals to you when ready to use with a beeping noise and flashing LED. The ceramic plates are hotter than others I have used and very versitile, can be used to make soft curls, tight curls or to add volumn to your style. The straighten effect is long lasting and does not require much effort to use, the beauty of heating up quickly is that you can refresh your style easily later in the day should you need to. Overall I would recommend these compared to others that I have tried....

GHD hot pink kiss hair stylers.. well worth every kiss!!

Advantages: styles your hair in so many ways.. curles, straight, waves and so much more
Disadvantages: are more expensive than other hair stylers

...just need to take your time and use smaller sections. I find GHD hair straightners great because I am one of those people always rushing around and the amount of times i`ve left my straighners on is unbelievable but GHds have a sleep mode where if they have not been used in 30 minutes the heaters turn off. The ceramic plates of the stylers are made from aluminium and get get to the temperature of 180c. GHDs are now more rounded than they used to be to create more looks. They have a on/off switch on the straightners themselves which is simple to use and light that will come on with them, they with make a bleep sound when you turn them on and a light will come on. When they have heated up and are ready to use, which takes less than a minute, the light will flash and you will hear another bleep sound so you know they are ready...
