GHD, makes a bad hair day a good hair day

...These straighteners are the best hair straighteners I have ever used, they heat up in about 10 seconds, beep when they're ready to use and then if you forget to turn them off they switch themselves off which is great if you're like me and have often come home to find my bed covers completely singed. They're very hot which although on the one hand is good because they work really well for every type of hairstyle you can ever want to do, straighten, curl, volumise etc. However, if you don't use a comb when straightening your hair you can quite often burn your fingers on your hair. GHD really do offer quality products as a general rule and I would never use any other straighteners. This is my 3rd pair of GHD's so really I have no complaints, however, my hot pink straighteners have had to be sent back to GHD on 2 different occasions...

GHD hot pink kiss hair stylers.. well worth every kiss!!

Advantages: styles your hair in so many ways.. curles, straight, waves and so much more
Disadvantages: are more expensive than other hair stylers

...fantastic at curling your hair, it has taken me a long time to get the hang of doing this as typically the girl in the dvd makes it look so easy, and I have to say its only easy after hundreds of times practising. They create the volume look, waves and flicks, you can actually use these to create so many looks. I will try and explain a bit of how to style your hair with GHD hair straightners although bear with me on this one as its not easy to explain without showing you let alone explaining it on here... Whatever style you decide to have you will need to seperate you hair into sections, I find this is easier to put my hair into bunches and do half at a time. Excellent Straighteners & a Great Gift

Advantages: Durable, Perfect Straight Hair, So Simple To Use
Disadvantages: Don't use on wet hair it damages them

...I won't go into amazing detail as there are so many good reviews on here but i bought these for my girlfriend as she kept borrowing out her old GHD's which her friend seemed to ruin and she loves them. She is a hairdresser and swears by GHD she should actually just change jobs and promote them that?s how passionate and convincing she can be. And to quote her in some way - Yes they are more expensive than most of the other brands but unless you are really unlucky you will never need to own another pair of straighteners again as they are so good and durable. The fact that she can do hers & my hair in just one stoke achieving perfect straightness is amazing and after seeing others struggle and steam go flying into the hair i recommend you spend the extra pennies because it is worth it. Great for short thin hair

...I bought these recently as I cannot live without my older larger plated GHD's and thought that these would be a handy alternative. They do heat in under 3 seconds and have the same excellent ceramic plates as the larger version, however I found them very time consuming. I have very thick hair about shoulder length and unlike their larger cousins they were unable to straighten as effectively . On saying that they were brilliant on my fringe. I would recommend these to anyone with shorter or thin hair. A fashion conscientious male friend of mine used these and loved them and were perfect for his short hair. I would recommend using the straightening oil with these as they are very hot and I did find a few burnt strands of hair ....

...I'm a girl with seriously curly hair, and I mean seriously curly! The term taming always seems to be used when describing what should be done with my hair. No matter what products I tried to use they didn't seem to work- wither making my hair greasy and lank or doing absolutely nothing at all. However, they were retailing at around £119 a pair three years ago, and these were just way out of my price range, being but a mere 6th form girl! ...Well when i saw these in pink i just had to have them, but are they any good? I have bought and used other brands of haior straightners before but with little success. I paid £90 for these limited edition GHD straightners and boy are they worth every penny. I dont have the most curly hair in the world but i now have quite possibly the straightest.
