...I'm a girl with seriously curly hair, and I mean seriously curly! The term taming always seems to be used when describing what should be done with my hair. No matter what products I tried to use they didn't seem to work- wither making my hair greasy and lank or doing absolutely nothing at all. Then about three years ago all my friends started getting GHD's, what the manufacturers term "a new religion for hair" and indeed it is. However, they were retailing at around £119 a pair three years ago, and these were just way out of my price range, being but a mere 6th form girl! Excellent Straighteners & a Great Gift

Advantages: Durable, Perfect Straight Hair, So Simple To Use
Disadvantages: Don't use on wet hair it damages them

...I won't go into amazing detail as there are so many good reviews on here but i bought these for my girlfriend as she kept borrowing out her old GHD's which her friend seemed to ruin and she loves them. She is a hairdresser and swears by GHD she should actually just change jobs and promote them that?s how passionate and convincing she can be. And to quote her in some way - Yes they are more expensive than most of the other brands but unless you are really unlucky you will never need to own another pair of straighteners again as they are so good and durable. The fact that she can do hers & my hair in just one stoke achieving perfect straightness is amazing and after seeing others struggle and steam go flying into the hair i recommend you spend the extra pennies because it is worth it. GHD, makes a bad hair day a good hair day

...because they have just stopped working. Both times I was told by GHD that the fault had been repaired yet they still do not work. My straighteners are now out of warranty and thus GHD will not repair them so I bought a new pair. I don't know if it is a one off problem or whether it is a common problem among all of the pink limited edition straighteners. The problems aside, overall, these are fantastic straighteners and I really couldn't live without them. Girls, can you remember before straighteners were invented? How did we cope? Although they are quite expensive, I definitely think they are value for money. I use mine at least once a day so they really aren't that badly priced when you think how much they get used. ...Well when i saw these in pink i just had to have them, but are they any good? I have bought and used other brands of haior straightners before but with little success. I paid £90 for these limited edition GHD straightners and boy are they worth every penny. I dont have the most curly hair in the world but i now have quite possibly the straightest. Advantages: easy to use, maintains heat, great for all hair types, durable, handy size for travelling

I have got the Limited edition IV Kiss ones and although the price is what seems redicuoulsly high at £135 they are worth every penny! I`ve had so many hair straightners in the past, cheep ones because i didnt want to spend that amount, i am now glad i did at last splash out on these!! They come in a box, roughly the size of a shoe box, in one side is the GHD stylers and on the side that lifts open there is a packet of 3 GHD lipglosses in a small little box which are also fabulous.
