...While awaiting inspiration for a new review, I remembered that this one was overdue for an update. Although I rewrote it a year or so ago for Dooyoo, to include selected items from handbag reviews posted over there, I never got round to revising the Ciao version. So here it is. All the articles mentioned appeared in reviews by women on one site or the other. * What have I in my handbag? I mustn't tell you lies; In truth the only bags I own Are those beneath my eyes. ...I received a DVD in a jiffy bag recently opened the bag carefully and put the bag ready to reuse with about 20 other old jiffy bags I have ready for recycling. Actually I am not sure that all of them are genuine jiffy bags but they are the same sort of thing. Jiffy bags made by Jiffy have been available for several years now I think they go back to the 1950?s. Jiffy bags are handy padded envelope bags that can be bought in a variety of sizes some as small as to 164 x 285mm, then several sizes upwards to 247 x 387mm, probably even larger ones available. The original bag is a golden brown heavy duty paper. The padded filling can be as simple as shredded paper. The envelope closures are one you peel to reveal a sticky surface this will then stick to seal the bag and contents. Some jiffy bags are filled with a macerated...

Vaccum Storage Bags

Advantages: Space Saving Ideas for Home and Abroad
Disadvantages: None I can think of

...I love this idea, whoever thought this up is a genius. A lot of families have storage problems my main pain in the backside is lack of room for excess bedding that i keep spare for guests and what not, So this is magnificent, how the air can be sucked out of the bag with any pipe vacuum cleaner and reduce the size of package to less than a quarter of the size. Brilliant for duvets and pillows i might add and to top it all off it keeps all those bugs away and when you do unpack them they smell as good as the day you washed them and put the items in there. Excellent I would rate these to anybody you can even use them for going abroad and storing your much loved items and reducing space which we all know must happen when traveling on a plane think of the goodies you can bring back !! Although I have never tries them in my suitcase while...

The best gigs EVER

Advantages: The atmosphere at a live gig is unique
Disadvantages: Can get stuffy and claustrophobic at times

Grobag baby sleeping bags are fantastic!

...The grobag is a fantastic invention which stops the constant getting up and down in the night to put the blankets back over your baby when they manage to kick them off in the night. Grobags are baby sleeping bags which fasten at the shoulders and are worn almost like a dress/dungarees. They come in different thickness- Tog rating- like a quilt. So you are able to decide which tog rating is needed, for example, in the summer when it's warm you will only need a 1tog or if it's colder you may need a 3tog. They come in different patterns and designs so you may chose whether you want a girlie pink one or a boy blue one etc. The main purpose of these grobags is to stop the baby from getting cold during the night as they may do with a blanket. Babies do not sleep soundly constantly, they do toss and turn and are able to shift themselves...

...though, as you could loose it. If you plan too, make sure you bring a bag with you or can put the top on. Some venues have cloakrooms where you can pay a deposit and they look after your belongings - but I don't know how common this is. The unofficial merchandise sold outside is normally a lot cheaper, especially if you wait till after the gig. A lot of rumours fly around about the low quality of these products, however they are worth the price you pay (normally £5 for a T-shirt). I haven?t personally had any experiences of my T-shirts falling apart in the wash, but you never know! It?s basically your decision to make here. The last point I will make is the opportunities to meet the performing bands. There are lots of ways am guessing to sneak backstage, but I have never actually done this! Gigs are Great

Advantages: Wicked nights outs

...Gig going Tickets I've put this section first for a good reason. When you and your mates read in the paper or in a music magazine about a gig happening near you, everyone says "Oh yeah. We've gotta go to that". Lo and behold 24 hrs before the gig everyone forgot to get tickets! Fair enough you can get tickets on the door but you can get tickets in advance by paying a booking fee (anything between 30p and £.50 -> in my experience). If you're seeing a big band you'll need to pre-book your tickets as the gig will sell out quickly and it's unlikely for there to be tickets on sale at the door. So, remember get organised and get your tickets a.s.a.p. Who you see and where you see them Who you see is totally up to you but where you go is important. Remember most gigs won't finish until 10 o' clock onwards so make plans...

mackie SRM-350 Great quality speaker

Advantages: Excellent quality and very little if any background noise.
Disadvantages: I would advise using a seperate bass speaker if these frequencies are being used.
