Avoid the Siemens S455 Gigaset

Advantages: Many features, "pretty" good voice quality
Disadvantages: Too numerous to mention

...I now have my second S455 Gigaset. The first one had a speaker phone, which worked intermittently. Before the phone could be sent (at my expense) to Texas for repair, customer service had to be called to get a necessary number. More than a week and four calls resulted in nothing. I filed a formal complaint with the BBB and the number was finally receiver via email. The following comments apply...
