To Gillian, here's what I think

Advantages: Michelle Pfeiffer, as always, and other good performances
Disadvantages: The poor interaction of many of the characters

Another pointless addition is the daughter's best friend Cindy, who seems to be there for the purpose of corrupting her and flirting vilely with Bruce's character. There are many things right with the film. The acting, the setting, the pace, everything is going for it. The scene's between David and Gillian are tender and somewhat heartbreaking, but even Pfeiffer's presence smacks of "I couldn't get an actress to do the part, but my wife's on set". Just as well she can act. But too many things let it down. The scene showing the accident just shows that at 35 Gillian should be responsible, but is really rather annoying and wants to climb masts for the sake of being adventurous when she's really not that adventurous at all. Surprising Picture Quality - Panasonic DVD-S54

Advantages: Incredible picture quality when compared to my old non-upscaling player with a scart lead
Disadvantages: Sometimes disc drive can be really noisy when DVD's initially load.

We bought the player from the electrical retailer Comet for about £100 just before Christmas so there were no discounts applied. On Christmas day when opened we found a relatively small box tightly packed with the player in polystyrene packaging. ...Looking at CW Anderson, your first impression might be that he would be better off in WCW. That impression would be quite wrong. CW may be getting on in years, but this veteran is a great leader for less experienced talent in ECW in the same way that The Undertaker has led the locker room in the World Wrestling Federation. His character is a reminder of wrestling's not so glamourous side. Scarred, broken faced and with a bitter demeanour, he likes to dominate opponents in the ring with stiff punches and the occasional powerful or technical manouver. Advantages: lots of pictures, filled with loads of veggie options, avaliable in hardback
Disadvantages: its Gillian mckeith - so mentions bowel transits :(

...Having loved ?Fantastic Mr Fox? by Roald Dahl as a child and generally being disappointed by book to film adaptations in general, I wasn?t hugely enthusiastic about going to see this film. My boyfriend was insistent, however, so I went to see it with him last night with relatively low expectations. If the film hadn?t been made by Wes Anderson, responsible for the excellent ?Darjeeling Limited? and ?The Royal Tenenbaums?, I doubt I would have been talked into going. I am very glad that I was. The Fantastic Mr Fox was one of the best films that I have seen in quite a while, and thought that it was adapted for the screen in a very beautiful and interesting way. Dyer and Anderson deal with life after trauma

...One of the reasons I like FilmFour is its ability to pluck a wonderful selection of often under the radar films and show them on a regular basis. Last week, I had nothing else to watch and switched to the channel to see what was on offer. Straightheads is a film I had briefly heard about but hadn;t really paid much attention to. A fantastic read!

...Midnight Tiger' is written by Gillian Lobel and illustrated by Helen Lanzrein and is a perfect book for sharing with small children. This is a wonderful story telling of 'the midnight tiger's' escapades at night, about how he is out in the wilderness in the middle of the night, prowling through the jungle stalking his prey. All the other creatures are aware of him and respect him greatly. As night turns to morning though, we realise that although still awesome, there is nothing to be afraid of because 'the midnight tiger'is really a cat called Timmy, a pet that is loved and cherished by his family. My daughter loves reading this book and I love sharing it with her as the language is so wonderful.
