A bit cheeky!

...I have quite a lot of CD albums in my collection, some compilations others just by one single artist/s. A few years back I found I was buying a new CD every week. Yes this addiction has calmed down now but I still have most of the CDs I bought back then! One of these albums is by the Cheeky Girls, and is called Party Time. The front of the album is a hot pink shade, much to my preference. Both Monica and Gabriella 'Cheeky' are posing on the front cover, wearing tiny t-shirts and pale hot pants. Naturally this would appeal to men (or that is the idea!), but the fun and idolising side apeals to a lot of young girls. Or at least it did until the likes of Miley Cyrus came along! On the back there is a track listing of all the songs to find. Putting in the CD you can explore the wonders of all twelve tracks. I will not talk about them all...

Leave it alone now!!!

Advantages: Good ending
Disadvantages: Cant see one!!

...She died at the end of Alien 3. Leave her dead. I suppose you cant as she is one of the main characters in the film now and it would not be an alien film without sigorney Weaver in it. Its a bit far fetched how they bring her back but very clever you actually feel sorry for her when she comes face to face with her 7 clones that went wrong. The little bits of comedy in it I thought were uneccessary. Its another chase scene a bit like in Aliens which you knew was going to lose a few along the way ( guy with the dreads, The girl,The leader) All in all this is not a bad way to leave the story as finished all though I thought that about Alien 3!!!...

Disadvantages: credits go on for too long

...Bond,once more in the middle of all the action....AND Girls!The man with the golden gun must be one of the best Bond films as the women in it are unforgettable(as usual!) and there is so many stunts and excitement in it.Bond is on the trail of an assasin with a Golden Gun(Mr. Scurramunger) and using his wit and wisdom and contact(such as Q. and M.) he manages to have a shoot out with him in a strange room...This is one of my favourite bonds because of the tension of it.I don't think it should be a twelve but for all the family.It is also a reasonably funny film and out of ten I would give it 8 and three quarters....

Review of The Man With The Golden Gun (DVD)

Not all B movies are bad movies

Advantages: It's a B sci-fi movie, cheesy action and cheesy violence
Disadvantages: it's a B sci-fi movie and some people might not like it

...them because uncontrollable. The company who made them, in order not to loose the money, reprogrammed the robots to sell them to the rottening American public school system. Although, in such a violent environment the robots will go back to their original programming and start practicing unnecessary violence on the students. The main character is a student, Cody, just out of prison and trying to do better. Like in all action movies, in the end he will have a nice girl (the principal's daughter) to save from the baddies and warriors to lead (his ex gang members) against the evil robot-teachers. Happy ending with cool music is mandatory. -------------------------- OPINION ----------------------- This film is quite fun to watch, it's a B movie so don't expect anything superb and neither take it too seriously. Home PC for £99.99 - Just the job

...As a first time (and last time) mum, I decided to stay at home for a few years to look after my little girl (the money is tight but the rewards are high). Anyway, after 17 months of nearly climbing up the walls, and after surfing using an old 486 and 8MG RAM I decided enough was enough. I wanted (no, needed) a faster PC for not a lot of money (as everyone does)looked at Dixons, PC World etc and decided that at the mo £399 was just a little out of my league. And so I rang Sterlingxs.co.uk and spoke to a really helpful lady called Sharon, was advised that she had the £99.99 PC as advertised on the net in stock, ordered it at midday and it arrived the following lunchtime (£10.00 plus vat delivery). I was amazed at the time it took to deliver and would recommend this site to anyone on a low income wanting a basic PC. Brilliant...

...Looking in retrospective, 1999 was a very good year for movies, there were a bunch of intelligent, modern, influential movies like "American Beauty", "Fight Club", "Matrix" and "The Virgin Suicides". "The Virgin Suicides" wasn't as popular or publicized as those movies, but it deserves the same kind of accolades. Although "The Virgin Suicides" is set in the 1970s, the film has a modern cinematography, with beautiful camera angles, dynamic edition, a great use of music and songs, a youthful cast, excellent performances, great direction, and above all, an intelligent script with clever and modern filmmaking. The cast in "The Virgin Suicides" includes talented people like Kirsten Dunst, who plays the role of Lux, a gorgeous girl and the most famous of the Lisbon sisters, James Woods and Kathleen Turner as the oppressive parents...

Advantages: smells lovely and does what its says on the bottle.

...I always fly with Jet Airways when I'm working in India. Sure the fares a a bit expensive.. but the crew, the aircraft.. the entire experience is truly great. The staff and crew are very polite, attentive and take very good care of all their passengers. The meals provided on board are very good.. provided by the top 5 star hotels, and leading hotels of the world. I have always traveled business class (Club Premiere) but have travelled economy too, and the flght was good then too. The airline covers the whole of India, and has a very impressive fleet consistinf of Boeings and ATR (total aircrafts 50). With the average age of the aircraft being not more that around 5 - 7 years. This flavour of Love tastes vile!

Advantages: One can watch in the contented knowledge that one is nothing like these vile creatures
Disadvantages: There were three series too many

...The Flavor of Love is probably the most horrific, car crash of all reality TV dating shows to ever grace our telly boxes. The show follows a similar format to other reality TV dating shows (such as The Bachelor), whereby a group of girls (the trashier the better) compete for the love and attention of Flavor Flav, in the hopes that they'll go out, get engaged, married and have babies...and mass paparazzi attention, no doubt. Incase you didn't know (and consider yourself lucky if you didn't) 'Flavor Flav' is from the rap group 'Public Enemy'. He's a strange little man, he'll be 50 next year, but he acts and dresses like a rap star in his 20's...apart from the addition of a random clock that he wears round his neck...still learning to tell the time perhaps? As with all 'good' reality TV shows, the girls all live in the same house...
