We refitted our kitchen this time last year so I'm reviewing the items we carefully selected. Our previous kitchen was very basic but we'd saved quite a few penny's so spent a lot of time researching on what gadgets we could have to make our kitchen truly amazing.
We had never had a chimney hood before so we were not sure what to go for but after looking around we decided we wanted a stainless steel one with a glass design.
~The cost:
In total our hood cost us £116 and we purchased it from Built in kitchen appliances in Liverpool. This was the best price we could find. On the internet prices were varying from £149+. Obviously we bought this a year ago so the prices may have now reduced.
~Style & dimensions:
We opted for a stainless steel chimney and control panel with a curved glass canopy.

...The IBM PC 300GL was origionaly made for the business sector.
The higher spec machine similar to the 300GL was the 300PL which some had AGP graphics and LAN comunications support.
This was the lower spec of the two machines but still there wasn't alot of difference.
If you wanted to have better graphics or LAN support you could fit a PCI graphics card or an extra LAN card.
Many motherboards of this spec had at least 4 PCI slots and for this machine that was enough.
Some machines were fitted with Celeron 233-333 processors and others were fitted with Pentium 2's or 3's.
The higher Pentium 3 machines were the better becuase of the extra 256 or 512 L2 cache which made processing quicker.
My origional machine had a Celeron 333 with 64mb ram fitted.
The machine i then upgraded to a Pentium 3 which had 512 L2 cache and 384mb...

Review of IBM PC 300 GL 6275

...I am currently on my second Black & Decker GL301 strimmer (?301?) so thought I would share my experience of the 301. My first 301 lasted about an hour and a half an hour before giving up the ghost and packing in. Whilst I did attempt to fix the 301, unfortunately it was beyond repair since many of the moving plastic bits had become so hot they melted and stuck together. You may ask how and why I got another 301, especially given the short life span of the product, so I had better explain. After a bit of whinging to the retailer the manager of the store reluctantly agreed to give me a replacement. I could not get my money back, I was not offered an alternative and as there was no way the manager was going to give in (and I didn?t want to push her to the point the offer was totally withdrawn) so I reluctantly accepted another 301. I was drawn to this by the fact that the tube running from the handle to the strimmer head was curved, this appeared to me to be a good design feature as when held with 2 hands the strimmer head is at the correct angle for normal work. The length of the tube is also adjustable, in other words its Telescopic. The tube also can be rotated so you can trim the edges of the garden...

Advantages: lightweight design, easy to use. Disadvantages: Distance factor ruled by length of cord.
...What is the GL640SC Strimmer range.
There are three strimmers within this range, one the basic lightweight one that I bought, one slightly heavier with an extra handle to help your arms not to ache, and a further with adjustable shield, and a slot to take a harness, for those who want to put the strimmer to heavy use. The Strimmer is made in a solid green plastic with a black shield and the construction really is impressive, made in such a way that there are not loose parts that can easily be broken. The method that the strimmer uses for trimming is a 10 metre reel of cutting line. There is no option for a metal cutter. Strangely enough no lead was provided but this takes a standard extension lead.
What persuaded me to part with my money ?
I have a huge garden of four acres, and whilst I have a heavy duty strimmer that is petrol...

Reliability
The Atos is, on the whole, fairly reliable.Problems to look out for are blown head gaskets (blue smoke out the exhaust and oil in the cooling fluid).
This often occurs because most Atos's have been used sparingly by their owners, so when someone takes it onto the motorway and thrashes it on a test drive,the gasket fails.
as long as its regularly serviced this should not be a problem.
Safety
The Atos has good safety equipment supplied as standard (driver airbag, ABS).However I believe...

Review of Hyundai Atos GL
Advantages: Goog Stable OpenGL card Disadvantages: Not got all top end features
...the excellent 3Dlabs drivers that come supplied with the card. All the major 3D and 2D apps are supported, and updates appear almost as soon as a new software release becomes available.
If you want rock solid reliability, go for a proper OpenGL card. And if you want a company that only makes cards for this market, and hence cater to all the needs here, you pretty much can only gor for 3Dlabs these days. Nvidia and ati make game cards, and therefore have the pure power advanatage, but these cards are aimed at directX use and talk of individual specs being very high. The 3Dlabs VP range talk of a 'balanced' power to them. They are designed from the outset for the qualities needed for the professional market (excellent wireframe performance, fully antialiased viewports, high res low flicker displays etc etc...)
