Last weekend, I stayed at Marriott Hotel in Glasgow with my husband and daughter. I stayed their for two nights. The first night was for a Kings Size Room for which we paid £85. The second night was for a King Size Room, purchased using skywards miles which you get from travelling frequently with emirates airlines.

...On a recent weekend away to Glasgow, my wife and I stayed in The Grand Central Hotel, which is perfectly situated in the centre of the city. In fact the hotel adjoins Glasgow Central train station so is in a brilliant location for all the sights and the nightlife. This Grand Central is an iconic hotel which in its heyday had guests such as Laurel and Hardy and Frank Sinatra....

**Location/Getting there**
This hotel isn't dead central in Glasgow as you have to walk for quite a while down Sauchiehall street but it is a great budget hotel to stay in if you are planning to go to the SECC.They even have maps to help you get from the hotel to the SECC and it only takes about 15 minutes to walk it.
