...I have been with Global for almost 4 years now and was initially extremely pleased with the ease of access (no engaged tones) and speed of server download. Things started to become more difficult however, when V90 became industry standard and I flash-upgraded my modem. Unfortunately, at this time, I started to get more and more 'inaccessible' messages back, and worse still, Global have steadfastly refused to respond to my questions regarding accessability. They do not seem to appreciate that they need to provide a better service than those companies who provide internet acces for 'free', and appear happy that they can continue to take our money without upgrading their bandwidth. E-mail, however, has been the epitome of reliabilty without noticable problems. I would recommend Global to friends and family, but would urge caution... Read review

Advantages: Usually reliable
Disadvantages: Occasionally unusable due to slow response and line dropping.

...I have used Global Internet as my main ISP for the past two years and have found them to be generally reliable, more so recently than six months ago. They have had spells where dialling in was very hit or miss, despite their advertising claims. Thankfully this hasn't happened for some time now, although they still have periods where response times become so slow as to make the service unusable, or the line keeps dropping. I just try a free ISP for a while when that happens. There often appears to be nothing on their technical support noticeboards to explain the problems, but then if speeds are that slow I don't waste time trying to get on to their site to discover why. I haven't tried any other subscription ISP so I can't compare but I do use Connectfree and X-Stream which are both less reliable to dial into than Global Internet... Read review

...Hello there people. I am a Michel Crichton fan and this book really is something everyone should read. Before I read this book I was pretty sure global warming was occuring and our climate is suffering because of it. However, after reading this book I have been given the other side of the argument that I have never heard before so I am kind of in the middle of this whole global warming idea. Seriously people, you should all read this book because global warming is being discussed and action is being taken for and against it by scientists, environmentalist and politicians. You never really hear to argument against global warming and here it is, arguing against real facts. The novel takes you all over the globe in an attempt to stop these deadly eco-terrorists succeeding in their mission to promote fear of global warming all over... Read review

These gases can come from numerous sources, from the aerosol you use as a deodarant, the emissions from fridges, to the burning of coal and oil to deforestation.
