Hp's Premium Photo Paper.

Advantages: Excellent high-quality photo paper, produces high quality prints.
Disadvantages: None whatsoever.

I bought it purely due to the fact the packaging seemed to reach out, and in one swift promotional swing, forced me to purchase the product. Great glossy photo paper by Epson

Advantages: excellent quality. durable and easy to use
Disadvantages: high price, low number of sheets (20) per pack

...Having Just an Epson printer to print photographs from my pc, I decided to use the manufacturers approved paper. Epson Durabrite Photo Paper is excellent for printing glossy high quality photos. And with DuraBrite pigment ink for a better bright and detailed print together with its 200gsm weight means it's ideal for photos. I bought the 20-sheet pack on line for £7.34 online and at this price its only going to be used for special photos, I also paid £1.50 for postage and packaging. This price equates to 34- 40 pence a photo so any mistakes printing are costly, but the quality is good and I haven’t had any problems as yet. So if you need to print quality pictures and you have an Epsom printer (would work in any printer as it I standard A4) I would highly recommend this paper with its glossy coating and durable...

Advantages: The quality is excellent - looks just like "proper" photos
Disadvantages: You may have to fiddle with photos before printing to get it to fit!

Advantages: Print off exactly which photos you want

I favour the A4 size, as most programmes allow you to print multiple photos and this gives you more choice, so you can print off a selection at one time or multiple small photos, perhaps of your wee one or family to enclose with Christmas cards. I have purchased several packets of Epson Photo quality glossy paper from Costco. It comes in a pack of 3 containing 20 sheets in each packet. Each sheet is A4 and weighs 141 g. It is glossy white in colour and the back is a dull creamy, white colour, so there is no problem deciding which the side for printing is. It is very slightly thinner and lighter weight than photos developed from a photographer. This doesn't stop me using it because if you are fitting in a frame it will be fine If you intend to pass the photos around...

High Street Photo Developers Worst Nightmare

Advantages: Glossy photo paper. Size 6x4 Excellent colour repoduction.
Disadvantages: Cannot leave printer when printing muliple photos.

Surprisingly good results from a very cheap paper

Advantages: Dirt cheap, at approx 8p per sheet, you can't go wrong.
Disadvantages: None that I know of

...a difference. Colours are bright, and contrasts are good with little, if any, banding throughout the page. Drying times are good, you should be able to work with the result after a few seconds. I used this paper with my Epson Stylus Photo R300, using Epson ink, but my mate is also happy with results from an R200 with compatible inks. I really can't fault it compared to the brand names....

Kodak Picture Paper - A huge disappointment

...This ' photo quality paper from Kodak is a huge disappointment so there is not much to write about!! First things first on the packet it says 'glossy'. I would hardly call it that. I would say it has a slight shine!! The quality of the photo prints you receive from this paper is very poor indeed. I have a great little 4 mega pixel camera which takes very high standard photos. But if I print those photos on this paper well.....they just don't look like photos!!! The cost of this paper is pretty expensive. The cheapest place I have seen it is at Office 365 and it cost £7.94 there. You could buy a lot better photo paper for that money. The only good thing I have to say about this paper is that you can print on both sides of it. Most photo paper you can only print on one side. All in all this paper has been a huge...

...has the advantage that you have done everything from start to finish to get that perfect print. It does however compare very favourably with the price of prints from your standard 35mm camera. The paper is of 190 GSM which means that is of very good quality. The GSM value is a measurement that gives an indication of the graininess of a paper. The higher the GSM the less grainy the paper basically. A normal paper for text and simple graphics is of about 90 GSM so you can see from the difference in values that this paper is far less grainy than the normal good quality used for basic purposes. It is 180 microns thick and has a glossy surface which enhances the look of your finished print. A non glossy finished paper is also available.
