...I'm very lucky, as my mum works on the Boots manufacturing site, and often picks up lots of little treats for me at knock down prices from the staff shop . As Boots manufacture Soap and Glory products, I get plenty of these, and one of my current favourites is the scrub gloves, which retail for around £7 in store. These are a pair of pink stretchy gloves (one size fits all) that you put on, and then use with a shower gel to exfoliate your skin. Exfoliation has many benefits - it prevents ingrowing hairs after shaving, it stimulates blood flow, and it removes dead skin cells giving a much brighter look. While you can get some excellent scrubs that do the job, if, like me, you only have a bath in your home and not a shower, they can be annoying as you have to spend ages rinsing away the grit! The trusty rubber gloves

...Cleaning, a pet hate of mine. I can?t not do the cleaning, so I try and make it as pleasant as possible. If I?m doing any cleaning, apart from the washing up, I like to use rubber gloves, just so I?ve got peace of mind that my hands aren?t going to go dry and horrible when using different cleaning fluids. Rubber gloves! These rubber gloves are from Asda?s Smartprice range. They come in a basic plastic bag with the usual Smartprice green and white design. The bag actually contains two pairs of gloves, so for 53 pence, this is a bargain! The gloves only come in one size, which is quite annoying for me as I only have small hands. My fingers never completely fill the entire finger in the glove so I usually have a little bit at the end that just annoys me! Although I?ve only got small hands, the gloves don?t fall off...

Value rubber gloves

Advantages: Very cheap, work well

...My hands get very dry when I use a lot of soap and cleaning products on them and even using moisturiser on my hands will not stop this effect as I tend to do a bit of cleaning and washing up each day. In order to keep my hands away from some of these chemicals I use rubber gloves. Rubber gloves are great as they keep your hands away from the water and soap and stop them from getting dirt on them too which is great when you get to the dirtier jobs around the house. These rubber gloves from Tesco's are amazingly good value and to me it doesn't even matter that I need to replace them every so often as the cheap price really doesn't matter. The rubber gloves are basically marigolds and although you can tell they are not as good quality as a proper pair of rubber gloves apart from that there is not much difference between them.
