TomTom Go910 The best GPS on the market
Advantages: fast, accurate, great support, tons of worthwhile features
Disadvantages: bit ugly and bulky
...I ended up getting the TomTom 910 as a result of a crap experience with the Navman 720. Best mistake I ever made!
The TomTom was recommended to me by several people but I wentmy own way and bought the Navman 720. I like the looks of it and the inbuilt camera. I had nothing but problems. In the end, the company I bought it from offered me the pick of the GPS systems they sold - after much research I chose the 910.
Whereas the Navman would take upto 3 or 4 minutes to get a full signal where we live, the 910 picks up its signal within a minute. It's ability to say road numbers and street names is very useful but using this means you can't use te many available celebrity voices. I would love to try them but like the usefulness of the computerized voice too much.
Another added feature is its bluetooth interaction with your phone. No...

Go Away TomTom Go 910......GO AWAY!!!
Advantages: The Points of Interest Feature is Outstanding
Disadvantages: Too Heavy & Bulky, Maps need constantly updated, Touchscreen isn't user friendly , Doesn't re-route well
...Being an Ex-Pat from America, it is NOT particularly "easy" for me to navigate myself around the U.K. Lets just say when I first moved here, I ended up getting lost at every other roundabout. Yet, I was bound and determined to learn the area (including the new traffic laws....oh and the whole different side of the road deal). It was with a relutance of defeat that I went out and bought a GPS System. So, without further ado, say hello to Mr. TomTom GO 910.
I shopped around for a GPS system that would have maps for the U.S., Canada, Australia, Asia, AND Europe. It is almost impossible to find one (not used) for under 400 quid, which is why I actually had my parents purchase one for me and send it overseas to moi. After recieving it in the mail, I practically ripped the box to shreds in my effort to get to it. I thought " FINALLY , I...

TomTom 910 The Market Leader
Advantages: New Features. MP3 Player,Audio Books,Traffic Alert system and more
Disadvantages: None
...The TomTom 910.
Well this mere mortal is here again. Over the years I have owned 3 TomTom devices, the TomTom Classic, TomTom 500 and now the TomTom 910. Family members are benefiting from my cast-offs in a big way. So imagine my delight when visiting my local Halfords on the 3rd of May 2006 to purchase screen wash, I found myself being mysteriously drawn by an unknown force to the GPS display. I could feel my credit card trembling in fear, in a euphoric haze I purchased the said device. I left the store trembling in anticipation, achieved warp factor 7 and found myself at home opening the box.
OK so I had an idea, that they were about to introduce a new range with even more features than the last, but I did not realise that they were to appear so soon.

You cant go wrong with a TomTom Go 910
Advantages: Size, Looks, features, reliability
Disadvantages: None that I can think of
...This is the easiest and most feature packed GPS in car navigation system that Tom Tom have brought out. I bought one from PC World for £350 and have to say that it is money well spent. I bought it as primarily my job took me to varying places in the United Kingdom on a weekly basis and up till the point i bought it, i had to rely on using paper maps bought from garages. With the incorporated Speed Camera database, you cant go wrong and you get warnings early enough about fixed cameras. (The database doesnt cover mobile speed cameras). With a avriety of languages to choose from, it is suitable for people in all countries. The features are great and navigation is so easy to work out.. simply put in the destination postcode and after a few seconds of plotting you are ready to go. The display is touch screen for ease whilst driving and also...

My year long affiair wih the W910i
Advantages: Good price, good for music, great range of features
Disadvantages: No Flash means limited use of camera
...the right choice?
The Music Player
Sony Ericsson walkman phones, ie all those in the ?W? series, all have a rather decent mp3 player. Getting my phone through Orange, meant that I got a free 1Gb memory card with it, which was great for holding music. It takes a tiny little card, a Memory Stick Micro memory card. With my phone, it came with a USB adaptor, which means that loading the card is simple.
Using the music player is very easy, the press of a button on the side loads it up, and the menus are very simple to navigate. You can find your music by Artist, Title and Album, and it also gives the possibility of creating playlists. What I did find as a drawback however, was that creating a playlist is a real pain. It involved manually going through to a song, selecting it, then putting, ?add to playlist?. Fine for a small playlist, but if...

w910i
Advantages: shake control, good design, long life battery
Disadvantages: can freeze at times
...in my opinion the sony ericsson w910i is one of the best phones i have ever owned. its very easy to use, and the menu is very simple and clear to understand. the mp3 player is great and i especially like the shake control to change the songs, although sometimes its easier to just use the normal buttons. the sound quality is good and can get really loud.
i really like the feel of this phone and it is quite heavy so you cant forget that you have it in your pocket. the slide on this phone is really good it just slides very easily with no trouble. i have it in black and i really like the whole design of it has to be one of the best looking phones i have seen
the 2 mega pixel camera is very clear and easy to use although if you have night mode on then it can be quite slow to move around and then miss what you were taking a picture of. i...

On the go with PoGo
Advantages: funky little printer and very easy to use
Disadvantages: paper curling (see review)
...The basics:
7.2cm x 12cm (fits in your pocket/handbag)
Weighs 8oz
Built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery
Holds 10 sheets of Zink paper
USB connection spot
Bluetooth class 2
PictBridge
The moment I unwrapped this little beauty I wanted to use it. I got the power lead and plugged it in. I didn't wait that required charging time as I was so eager to use it. At least once and then let it charge properly. I let it charge for about 20 minutes so that it would have some power to it. I then took out the pack of 10 sheets of paper that came free with it and slotted them into place.
It took me a little while to go through my phone to find the perfect first photo. Sad I know but leave me to my simplicity! I found a cute photo of the kids cuddling and was ready to go...

LG KC910 - A cracking phone.
Advantages: camera, touchscreen
Disadvantages: stylus
...on the camera for everything from comedy frames to panoramic shots to black and white. The inclusion of a lense cover also gives this phone a major advantage over the Viewty. If your priority for a phone is the camera then you could definitely do a lot worse than this...
The applications for Renoir are, I think, obviously never going to be able to complete with the iPhone, which really does seem to have an app for everything, I'm just waiting for the advert for the app that wipes your bottom... The apps that are available for the Renoir, through orange anyway, are fairly bog-standard and not particularly exciting.
The mp3 player seems good enough, but I'll admit I prefer my iPod and don't use it for much more than an occasional listen to the songs I use as ringtones. So, I can't say anything much more in-depth about it other than, the sound is...

Sony Ericsson W910i Walkman Mobile Phone
Advantages: Looks great, sounds great, nice features!
Disadvantages: Average camera, reported technical issues!
...Having recently been eligible for a free phone upgrade through my network provider, I opted for the Sony Ericsson W910i walkman mobile phone. I have owned several Sony Ericsson phones over the past few years, and have become quite a big fan of their phones. My tariff is reasonably low, so I wasn't eligible for a top of the range model without having to pay something towards it, so the W910i seemed the better choice of an average range of free phones I was offered.
For pure looks, the W910i is a joy to look at, and in my opinion is up there with the best of them. The W910i is a slide phone, and it comes in a super-slim, sleek black design, with a smooth, smart metal outer-frame. When closed, the phone displays a nice brushed aluminium circular navigation panel, which is easy to use, and a vast improvement to the joystick control on my...

Sony Ericsson W910
Advantages: Screen is a decent size, came with 1GB memory card
Disadvantages: Buttons can prove a little frustrating at times
...Having needing to get a new phone, I did a bit of research into what products Sony Ericsson have out on O2 at the moment. I narrowed it down to the W380i and the W910i and (after much deliberation) settled with the W910i.
My first impressions was that the handset was very light compared to my old K700i. It's width (50 mm) and height (99.5 mm) are larger, but as the thickness is less (12.5 mm), it doesn't feel that much bigger in my pocket. A great advantage of the W910i being a little wider is that it comes with a 2.5" screen which is great for viewing your snaps taken with the 2 MP camera. The camera's quality is decent enough but you wouldn't be able to blow any images up to a great size if printing. There is also a decent video recorder and a second camera on the front above the screen for making 3G video calls.
I found the pre...
