...Nas took a humongous break but struck back hard with Stillmatic, which found Nas returning to his roots. Fans welcomed Nas back and awaited his next album, which was highly anticipated. Unfortunately, his parade was a bit torn down. Rumors circulated all around about Nas selling out and signing with commercial hip-hop label Murder Inc. Not to mention that his collaboration with Ja Rule and Ashanti didn't exactly help matters out. However, Nas proved everybody wrong with the release of God's Son, as we see Nas single-handedly bring his career from the depths and ressurect it like Jesus Christ himself. The son of god performing miracles

Advantages: good lyrics, production from Eminem
Disadvantages: few tracks which are not that good

...Nas returned in 2002 with Gods Son his 5th Studio album. This album was the follow up to the massive album ?Stillmatic?. Nas returns to his Illmatic days with this album and his raw lyrics to make this a brilliant album. With his lyrics it has old school beats and is very similar to Rakim. Nas shows his maturity as a rapper as he raps about his mothers death. This is very good album and I highly recommend it. 1.Get Down ? A old school track, very up beat , Nas goes back to his original rap roots to pull this track out. Very good track 9/10 2. The Cross ? Produced by Eminem, My personal favourite, Very good beat one you can nod your head along too. 10/10 3. Made You Look ? Very good beat, lyrically it is very good. I recommend the remix with Jadakiss And Ludacris a much better track. 7/10 4. Last Real N**** Alive...

Who's your daddy?

Advantages: Classic rap tracks.
Disadvantages: One or two that do not deserve to be there.

...Nas - God's Son Nasir Jones, known as Nas (Niggaz against society as he tells us) released this album in 2002. This was album number 6 and he had alredy had significant sucess in the US especially with his first album Illmatic. This album is quite a paradox for on the one hand he is obnoxious giving it some real traditional hip hop arrogance, and yet there is significant depth in this album too. I'll review the tracks and that may illustrate my points. 1. Get Down. Nice funky almost James Brown backing to this song, use of funky electric guitars, some horns and trumpets and his clear and distintive voice. Don't Get All Religious On Us

..."God' Son" came out in 2002, and it was the sixth album from the Queensbridge, New York rapper, Nas. It came directly off his future classic, "Stillmatic" and unfortunately soon after the death of his mother (who acted as inspiration to some of the work here. It also marked a time where his beef with Jay-Z was still around its peak,so the material reflects this too. 1. So, there were certainly people who looked somewhat like this at the time of Jesus but how closely it actually resembles him is open to argument. The premise of the series is that many of the claims made about Jesus could not be supported by fact. Whether or not He/he was the Son of God is a matter of faith - and this is as it should be. Rather it concentrates on the historical evidence that supports the Gospels. Along the way it uncovers some fascinating facts. Even if the makers of the programme had decided to be as blatantly anti-God as many other TV shows have, I would still recommend it for one very simple reason. His consistency is unrivalled and although I have cringed at a lot of his stuff, his career and life to a certain extent are on record - It's like you can follow his evolution through the releases - God's Son was for me a needed reassurance that he still could produce the goods. No Son of Mine

Advantages: It's short
Disadvantages: It feels neverending because of the abysmal script, performances and direction.

Then Loki, Norse god of mischief turns up wanting it back? It?s a mystery to me why anyone would want to make a sequel to the Jim Carrey vehicle ?The Mask?.
