God of game
Review of God Of War 2 (PS2) by
minhhon
Advantages: perfect graphic and gameplay
Disadvantages: not for kids
...Before death, the swan usually sings the most beautiful song of its life. Gamers compare God of War II to the last majestic melody of the black swan- PS2. God of War II may not set an end to PS2, but it seems to be the best last game on this console.
Like the brilliant action-adventure game about Greek myth in 2005, God of War II still following the journey full of hatred and pain of Kratos, the most aggressive half myth half human in the world. This time, Kratos is going for another “sweet” revenge. God of War two years ago seems like there is nothing you can do to make it more perfect, but God of War II proved that it deserves to be the excellent descendant with detailed and well design game play.
God of War II happen just a while after the first one ended (this mean if you didn’t even know about the first game, you really should...

RISE SIR KRATOS OF MOUNT OLMYPUS
Review of God Of War 2 (PS2) by
crispy79
Advantages: fantastic graphics, excellent gameplay, superb weapons and combos
Disadvantages: can be complicated puzzles
...God of War 2, the much anticipated sequel to Kratos' tale to bring down the God of War, Ares.
Well after some time as God of War, it seems Zues thinks that Kratos is getting a bit too big for his boots and wants him out of Mount Olympus! Not good for Kratos.
Once Zues has tricked Kratos is imbuing a sword with his godly powers, he kills him! While in the Hades underworld, Gaia (the leader of the titans) brings him back from the dead and tell Kratos how to destroy Zues - kill the sisters of fate and change time.
That's what God of War 2 is about. This time Kratos isn't content with bringing down one god, he wants them all!
Storyline:
A very interesting storyline here. Develops as you play along and was a storyline that I found I wanted to accomplish for Kratos! The way that he plays and the way the story develops for you makes you...

Oh my god of war
Review of God Of War by
matt_fletcher
Advantages: Stunning Graphics, Great sound, Nice Story, Excellent Gameplay
Disadvantages: Slightly more variation in the monsters
...What were my first impressions of "God Of War"? Well, reading its audience rating as "18- Contains strong bloody violence", I knew this would hardly rear itself among Mario or Pokémon; this game was preparing me for a thrill ride- and it's a messy one at that.
On starting the game (and bypassing the generic menu titles, 'f course), I was struck by how beautiful the graphics are: The textures are realistic, the lighting is detailed and flawless and the lines are smooth and crisp. Upon moving Kratos, the protagonist of the game, there is a certain air of control and power. His movements correlate perfectly with your own movement of the controller, and all commands seem intuative. By pressing the Square button, Kratos wields his weapon of choice. No no, it's not a James Bond-esque pistol or an Indiana Jones style whip; he likes to use two...

NOT AS GOOD AS THE FIRST TWO GAMES, BUT STILL GOOD
Review of God of War: Chains of Olympus PSP) by
gemz206
Advantages: story, blood and gore
Disadvantages: a bit short, and recycles gameplay from last two games
...NOT AS GOOD AS THE FIRST TWO GAMES, BUT STILL ENJOYABLE.
God of War Chain of Olympus takes place before the first game explaining what Kratos was doing for the Gods of Olympus. When the world plunges into darkness Kratos is forced to choose between his own personal redemption or saving the world of man and gods from destruction, it does explain a few things about parts of the game that you never heard or seen in God of War 1 and 2.
Gameplay= feels the same as the last games but all pushed into one handheld. I enjoyed reaction attacks by grapping enemies and slamming them into dust, best part was where after you beat this Persian boss and you slam a treasure chest in his face, or stabbing a knife down a Cyclops eye. You get some new weapons but they look the same as the PS2 versions, also there are not many hard puzzles in the game...

God Of War II
Review of God Of War 2 (PS2) by
scola_p
Advantages: Beautiful, varied, long and often difficult
Disadvantages: Simple puzzles
...In short, this is the best game to ever surface on the PS2, and a suitable swansong to say goodbye to the venerable old beast!
Picking up the role of Kratos, from the first game and following his betrayal by, and eventual revenge upon the gods of Olympus.
The graphics are even better than the first game, which was excellent in itself, and with a host of new opponents and locations to fight your way through, touching on some of the most famous stories from Greek mythology.
Some of the puzzles can seem a little basic, and your progress is very linear, but on the whole this does not detract too much, as this is mainly an action game.
The game is difficult in places (even on normal!), and often the saves points can seem to be LONG way away, but this actually makes the game more enjoyable. It is supposed to be a battle against the gods...

Truly Godly
Review of God Of War by
black_dranzer_v2
Advantages: Engaging, interesting, fun
Disadvantages: Not for young players (hence the 18 certificate)
...God of War is a RPG in which you play Kratos, a warrior from ancient Sparta, in Greece. He has twin blades known as the "Blades of Chaos" literally chained to his forearms, and he uses them to defeat his enemies.
The game starts off with an amazing opening sequence of Kratos jumping off a cliff to commit suicide. The game does not totally explain to us why, however, and we then see back into a flashback of sorts that lasts the whole game - the tale of how Kratos came to be on the cliff.
We learn that Kratos is in service to the Olympian gods of Ancient Greece - they set him missions that he must carry out for them, and in return they will forgive him his past sins, although again we are not told what these sins are.
Right from the beginning the game immerses us in action - we have to defeat a group of zombie soldiers. It's not too...

greek gods at their best
Review of God Of War by
liam-barnard
Advantages: everything
Disadvantages: nothing
...[to start with]
In the start you start off with watching a small scene where you see tye main charachter Kratos say "the Gods of Olympus have abandoned me. Now there is no hope." and jump off the cliff to his well i guess you've guessed he erm... didn't want to see another day. It turns out that the greek god of war Ares had tricked kratos into killing his very own family, and its too hard for kratos to stop thinking of it so he errr.... jumps, but he makes a deal with the other greek gods, if he kills aries then the memories will be gone, dont worry you dont learn all of the story at one time as you get further through the game you learn more about kratos and his past, and trust me when you know the full story you wouldn't want to be kratos, because he doesn't care about anything but killing the greek god of WAR ares.
[a little...

The God Of PS2
Review of God Of War 2 (PS2) by
the_flabster
Advantages: Loads of Boss battles, Great graphics for PS2, Very addictive gameplay.
Disadvantages: This is the last God of War on the PS2 :'(
...So God of War 2 has finally arrived on the PS2 and many have billed it as the last truely great PS2 game since everything is going to be made for PS3 now.
If you have played the first God Of War you will know the main character (kratos) is the ultimate antihero who just goes around killing anything in brutal fashion. Well he is back and more brutal than ever.
The only fault many people had with the first God Of war was that there were not enough "Boss" battles, well there is no danger of the same being said about the second as there are loads and loads of bosses and the game is better for it. With a nice mix of Puzzle solving and brutal killing this game is perfect.
It does carry a 18 certificate for a reason and shouldnt be played by anyone under this age. The storyline was also a strong point in the first game...

Simply Stunning
Review of God Of War 2 (PS2) by
Omar788
Advantages: Gorgeous Visuals - Great Audio Presentation - I could go on...
Disadvantages: Nothing.
...Gameplay: Wow. Just wow. God of War 2 is simply amazing. It\'s hard to describe in words just how truly amazing this game is. The developers were able to not only surpass the original, but they were able to surpass it by a heck of alot! God of War 2 is easily one of the best action games that I have ever played. It plays similarly to the first game, only alot of improvements have been made. There\'s now a ton of new ways to kill enemies, as well as a ton of different boss battles and new puzzles that await you. The game is just pure fun from start to finish, there is literally never a single boring part. The difficulty is also tuned perfectly as well. In terms of storyline, GoW2\'s is also insanely well crafted as well, its on the same level of quality as the first game. And the ending was simply stunning, I dropped my controller out...

The Bible Code.
Review of The Bible Code - Michael Drosnin by
Trev1000
Advantages: easy to understand from a sceptical viewpoint
Disadvantages: Not enough Biblical proof given to support the code
...The Bible Code is a pretty cool book if your into aliens, war and mythology, but that doesn't mean that i mock the things that are written about.
What i do think personally is that a person who believes in God and the Bible should be at the helm when it comes to writing this kind of thing.
The book itself is quite entertaining but totally lacks reality as there is given no proof that the code is real, just supposition, However i believe there is a real code hidden in the Bible, the real name for it is the Torah Code, which means pretty much the same but is researched by those through history and modern times who are conected by their faith and culture. To understand anything about the real code you need to know your God and your Bible.
Anyway this is only my view and intended only to whet your appetite. If you are into prophecy...
