Footjoy AQL Golf Shoes

Advantages: Look nice,
Disadvantages: Only lasted 5 rounds of golf.

...Purchased a pair of these golf shoes three weeks ago on th 29-Sept-2009.Whn they arrived the looked super and just what I wanted smart wee bit flash and Footjoy.After one round of golf they look like my old ones with the white leather across they front creasing badly.I tried puting leather protector on as footjoy said I should,all this has done no good today after five rounds of golf they are starting to split along the bottom.They are now on there way back to the shop who supplied them.(the shop is superb and it is not there fault).In summary there are plenty of very good golf shoes out there unfortunately The Footjoy AQL does not appear to be the best.I do have three other pairs of footjoy shoes which have served me well so this may be just a one off....

Tribute to a Golf

Advantages: Great car, good fuel economy, well built - and extremely safe
Disadvantages: No real huge disadvantages

...I've owned my Golf TDI S for almost 5 years now, and I've been really pleased with it. Unfortunately my insurance company have purchased the car back from me following a 7 vehicle pile up (not my fault!). However, I thought I'd put the experience to good use and tell you not only about how great the car is as a drive, but also show how well it can stand up to a battering. The car looks good. There's no getting away from it: when VW bring out a new shape of the Golf I invariably don't like it, but given a few weeks to get used to it, and it really grows on you. On the outside the car comes in a range of colours (I'd opted for a nice metallic blue on mine), with the mirrors and part of the bumper finished in the same colour. Scone Shoes

Advantages: comfortable, better fitting shoes at reasonable prices

Get A Grip!

Advantages: Comfortable, waterproof, stylish, good grip.
Disadvantages: Make sure you break them in properly before you hit the golf course!

...I wasn't over enamoured! The runner-up spot in a team competition last summer at my golf club won me a new pair of golf shoes. Problem was, they weren't the Footjoy brand that I normally wear and which have served me well down through the years, but a pair of white Adidas shoes with black stripes which for all the world looked like a pair of my teenage daughter's trainers. There's Nothing Worse Than Cold Wet Feet

Advantages: Keep your wee tootsies warm, dry and comfortable
Disadvantages: Expensive (but you get what you pay for!)

Stylo a manufacurer of quality ladies golf gear

Advantages: Good quality clothes at competative prices
Disadvantages: Use tried and tested designs not fashion leader.

...I have been looking for practical, reasonably priced every day golf wear ever since being spoilt by my visit to New York in November 2002. On a visit to Norwich I found a lovely selection of Stylo golf clothes for ladies. I was tempted to purchase a pink & a black polo neck jumper and a pink bodywarmer.The polo necks were £14 and the bodywarmer £25. Today 23.09.03 they had their first outing in our ladies day. The clothes looked smart and fitted like a glove. I look for winter clothes to be light, easy to move in, easy to wash and dry but above all to keep you warm while allowing your skin to breath. These clothes appear to meet all these criteria and I will have to wait to see if they meet the test of time. The polo necks are made from 100% cotton and the bodywarmer 100% polyester unfortunately non of the labels inform you...

...As some of you may already be aware, the way to my heart is with handbags and shoes. Large cash deposits are also much appreciated but don?t come along all that often. As far as shoes are concerned, I like pretty shoes, generally with sparkly bits and, ideally, bows. Unfortunately, although my part of the country is reputed to be "drier than Egypt", this isn't apparent in my garden. Following weeks of rain, the old shoes I had been using outside, finally gave up the ghost and fell apart. My feet were just as wet as they would have been had I been outside with bare feet!
