...Well like your average post-teenage girl, I feel that when it comes to facial cleansers, creams, toners and the rest that I seem to have tried everything under the sun. Or just everything on the shelf, really. Each time I come to invest my precious money in something to do with my skin, I look for something that is going to be good value for money whilst also giving me that gorgeous skin that always seems to elude my grasp. Now, I know not to hope for miracles, but I do want to feel as though the cleanser that I will use for the next 6-8 weeks (roughly) will actually be of more benefit than a 47p bar of soap or just plain water. Review of Good Skin Clean Skin Foaming Cleanser

Good for sensitive skin.

Advantages: Easy clean. Close shave. Use in shower. Good battery life. Built-in Nivea dispenser
Disadvantages: Doesn't catch all stubble straight away

...I have fairly sensitive skin and up until now I have always used a wet shave razor. Wet razors didn't leave my skin burning, but they did leave the skin feeling very exposed and would cause it to dry out. Since I'd read that electric razors were good in countering this, I decided to give one a go: I went for this one because it was half price in Boots at the time and because I trust the Philips brand. I also liked that it was very easy to clean: you just have to run it under a tap, whereas other razors are a bit more tricky. It also looks quite sporty and can be used in the shower as it's completely waterproof. The first use was brilliant. It was clean and so much closer than I imagined it would be. It almost felt closer than a wet shave. Subsequent shaves have slowed down a bit and I find that I have to keep going over the same areas...

Good starter for people with pale skin

Advantages: Gives light tan, is gradual, noticable, not too expensive, moisterises skin
Disadvantages: can be blotchy and streaky, must be applied regularly, slight smell, little bit yellow/orange

...people buying the expensive ones. The tubs are only about 15 ml how long is that going to last? £43 for a tub that would last about 2 weeks? I wasn't going to pay that, but then I saw the cheaper ones and well I know that you get what you pay for so guessed these ones wouldn't be as good so I decided to get one in the middle. Skin doctor was £18.95. I still begrudged paying that much for it but thought it would be worth it if it worked. It promised to be "an amazing cream that combines a variety of natural ingredients to help reduce the appearance of ugly black, blue or red under eye circles" but would it live to its promises??
