A Goodmans MP3 player for a good man like me

Advantages: Only cost £10
Disadvantages: Not the latest spec

...I acquired this MP3 player when our lodger decided to upgrade to a Creative Zen 8 Gb player. I am shortly to upgrade to a car that has an MP3 connection so I have been on the look out for something to use in the car when the boring programs are on the radio. It isn't as small as some players on the market but for £10 who's arguing? Plugging it in to the PC doesn't mean installing any software, it simply appears in My Computer as another drive, to which you can drag and drop your choice of sound files, in either MP3 or WMA format. It also acts as a voice recorder, which will be useful for me as I often have ideas for short stories, blog entries or articles which I can guarantee that I will forget if I don't make a quick note. Advantages: Clear screen, lots of features, easy to use and a large range of games and movies.
Disadvantages: Can't be used with strong light and quite easy to damage/scratch

The best portable on the market.

Advantages: The look. The portability. The games. The films. The accessories. Pretty much the whole package.

...OK OK OK. How can I review a product that hasn't been released in the UK? I bought it in Japan, I'm lucky - I know. Lots of people want the Sony PSP. I can see why! There is SO MUCH you can do with the Sony PSP - it's quite unbelievable. My unit is in Japanese - but I'm fortunate to be able to read and understand Japanese - so I can provide an accurate review. PSP Review

Advantages: if you are unable to buy games in the shop you can buy them through the psp
Disadvantages: the memory cards can sometimes be expensive :(

Wow Good...man!

Advantages: Compact, light, plays home-made disks

I went into Argos and spotted the Goodmans GPS222 on display, so I bought one. ~Design~ The Goodmans GPS222 is 13 inches long, 9 inches deep (at it's widest) and 6 inches tall. It weighs around 4lbs - not very heavy - but it might feel quite weighty if you were carrying it around for a while. ...I love my PSP, but I'm still playing games I bought 2 or 3 years ago for my original PSP-1000. For a new user, especially, the lack of new games is enough to make anyone worry about investing in one. The 4.3-inch LCD wide screen remains, and it's been tweaked. Sony says the new screen now delivers better color reproduction, reduced glare, and reduced "ghosting" on high-motion scenes. When compared with the 2000, the PSP 3000 does, indeed, deliver better color vibrancy (you can toggle between "wide" and "standard" color in the options to see the difference). As for glare reduction: we didn't find there to be a huge difference. Don't expect to play in direct sunlight, for instance. But you might have better luck with fewer distractions from indoor light sources....

Disadvantages: Not as advanced as newer consoles/gadgets

...The Sony PSP was revolutionary when it was first released, it holds music, videos, images and allows internet access whereever a valid internet connection is available. The screen is a good size for handheld games console (4.3 inches) and has a processor speed of 333 MHz.. It was released in 2005 and therefore has dramatically decreased in price since then (consoles always depreciate in value due to the improvements and advancements in technology) and can now be bought for as cheap as £35.
